Health › Re: My Body's On Alcohol by uboma(m): 7:25am On Mar 01, 2020
airminem:
Is it true women are more vulnerable to alcohol's effects..?

I've had a lot of worries this past year. Husband-health concerns. Kids concerns. My father dying eight sad months ago...and not long thereafter, my mother, whom I loved very much-and I stil need her so sad
But the alcohol drinks-or in my case, the vodka-has been helping me forget, a little too much nd too often. I'm a nice woman from a teetotaling family, but, as life's pressures have mountd, i've begun feeling as though I've gone from enjoying one Cosmo at the end of the day to needing one.But is it really so bad to enjoy a glass or more of something after work/evening?
* Have you ever felt you should cut down on ur drinking?
* Have you ever had a drink first thing in the morning to steady ur nerves, get rid of a hangover, or as an eye-opener?
* Have you ever felt guilty or bad about your drinking?

I used to drink only when i was out with friends. Now i am reaching for the bottle the moment i am home. I tried to be moderate but no-way.

*HELP*
Alcohol, when taken in moderation, is good for the health. But in your case, you are addicted to it already. Try to cut down on your intake. Remember that alcohol does not take away your worries and fears, these remains after the alcohol wears off eventually. And you are doing your system a whole lot of harm if you continue on this routine.

Try to reduce the quantity of alcohol you consume on a daily basis. The alcoholic content in Vodka is high, try taking red wine instead or beer (reduced quantity).

Engage your mind on other things like learning a new skill, running or making new friends. Go for a general medical checkup....

How did she know that they had anal sex?

She has no business with the lady. She should confront her husband instead.

Who are the parents of this cute girl? What do they do for a living? What efforts have they put forth in trying to raise parts of the funds needed for the bone marrow transplant?

A brief information about the parents is needed also.

This brave little girl should not continue to suffer this.....

I have been offered a numbered Mercedes C320 at the rate of 600k and from my reckoning, I'll have to fix some of the body parts for it meet my taste, namely: tyres, ac, dvd player, body work and spraying. Please, I need advice from Mercedes owners and enthusiats who have knowledge about this particular C320 and possibly a review on this trim.
Is this going to be your first car? If yes, please do not go ahead with the purchase.

being vulnerable And being careless are 2 different things Boss
I once had a stupid experience at Ikeja some years back, I was coming from Oshodi so I withdrew some cash on getting to Ikeja I had to 45k on me, this dude just pops out of no where and asked me to Roger him every thing in my pocket he had 2 other accomplices those ones were on the look out, it was almost 7pm a day to Christmas, as I begin rake for the guy na so the guy comot all this local ring from him pocket my liver cut but I decided to drag with him but lucky for me a police vehicle was upfront so I started running to that direction!!
Other people were passing and they didn’t harass them but they saw me and decided to test their fetish ring on me and I no dey smile when I dey street especially Ikeja
The point is that the man who allegedly used juju to scam this lady must have noticed some of her weaknesses and used that to his advantage.

If it was that easy and smooth to use juju, how come she was the only one who got robbed?

how so @bolded

This thing can happen to any one bro, who goes to the bank fortifying themselves to avert a Juju attack!
There’s nothing bad in lending a fellow human your pen but we learn everyday but it’s just she learnt the hard way
Did the man with the juju also scam other customers in the banking hall too? Why was it just her?

I never implied that lending a pen to another is bad.

Wonderful.

Why can't such guys make their way to the CBN with their hypnotic prowess to clean out once and for all?

Op, your cafe dey inside Mobil for Dutse? grin
Lol.

He doesn't even need to the CBN, that's too far.

With his juju, why didn't he go through the bank vaults to steal more than the 600k?

The lady was obviously careless.
Family › Re: I Bought Elepaq Generator And It's Consuming Fuel. by uboma(m): 8:56am On Feb 22, 2020
Acidosis:
Depends on the capacity of the gen.

On a 2.5kva gen, 1k fuel runs for at least 10 hours based on personal experience.

On a 1kva (Tiger gen), same amount runs for over 15 hours.

On a 4kva, may be 5 hours

On a 7.5kva, less than 4 hours.
Of course, I am aware of these.

However we are talking about the Op's complain that his generator only runs for about 5 hours on fuel of 1k.

The Op wants his generator to run for 10hours on 1k fuel most probably.

Cyberknight:
Zimbabwe is a country in flux, hyperinflation is returning, there are numerous strikes going on, and there is really nothing a tourist can do there, except go on safari or go to Victoria Falls. But if you want to go on safari, Kenya or Tanzania would be a better option, not Zimbabwe.

If you want info about exchange rates and the like, then use the internet. However, the situation on ground changes rapidly and such info may be out of date by the time you get there.

Unless you are just going to Zim to check it off a bucket list, or to do some form of work for an int'l organisation, save your expensive airfare and go elsewhere.

Read their main paper, The Herald, online to get a better idea of the situation.
Once again, thanks for your contribution.

I have visited Kenya in the past, had a feel of the nature and it's wildlife at its peak.

In the midst of the seeming crisis and economic downturn in Zimbabwe, I am positive to see a thing or two that will catch my interest. I am going for personal reasons.

There is no information about the exchange rates online. I may just have to wait till I get there to get first hand information.
