A well known AC mechanic here adjuged to be NL finest by reviews, I brought the car to him to work on the AC and he collected money yet did a shoddy job.

AC packed up after like 3wks despite the changes done and all the yeye test, I will not mention his name tho (you know yourself).

Good thing I called gazzuz immediately to explain the damages done, since he was my last resort and what he recommended was what was later done..

I wanted to come back to NL to spoil his rep but I let bygone be bygone.

I took him to be a Pro, with his articles here and all sounding all professional. but Las Las I found out all na format to charge premium price , nansense!

Just be wary of the so called experts in here Sha...that's all.

I did that becos of my kids who would likely stain the seats from ice-cream, pizza, etc, which is stressful to clean out. But with leather it's easier to take care of. I see that a lot in the other car that has fabric seating.

Noted. A good seat cover would have been preferable. Leather seats absorbs heat and over time, may start to peel off (why I prefer fabric to leather). Anyways, whatever works for you.

Cool. I try to avoid the 328i though, I prefer the 320i/325i. I never had the belt snap off in all my years of driving my BMW cars.

The gear problem is common with the automatic transmission but with a good rewire, it will get resolved.

I have my eyes set on the X5 because of its good ground clearance.

I guess you finally got yourself an E46. How did you resolve the gear issue?

I asked and I was told by a trusted Nairalander to stick with Everstat or Solite. Both are Koreans.

Paid N18,500 in Ibadan for Solite 75. Vehicle it’s going in only needs a 35.

I used Solite 100amps for good 5 years before it started to fail. It is a good battery but it is scarce at present from my end.
