Hello everyone. So I had to meet my agent to come and explain what I’m seeing here and it turned out that the agent said he gave someone money who gave another person in Canada the money to pay for my application. Now the person
In Canada called the bank after the payment to cancel all transactions on his card. And the money was collected back from
IRCC, in the procedural letter they sent me they asked why I charged back the money and I told them it bounced back. And I told
The agent to make the payment again.

I’m confused at people’s negligence and unseriousness.

Please what can I do at this point ? Help!!!

Na wah! You didn’t check the status of your application all this time? You’ve been banned for 5years.

Please gurus in the house should help.

This is a copy of the letter he sent me in December requesting for ielts. They did not write anything about NSE on it though. Just the request for ielts.

Wow! This letter doesn’t look real, applicants are given 30days to respond with what is requested if they would like their application to be processed through the NSE route. The timeframe is 30days and not 90days as displayed on your letter.

Also I have attached the 2nd half of my letter so you can see the difference. Hopefully you’re able to retrieve your details and continue with your application. All the best

Cos I am a banker and I know on no account should a customer account info be divulged to a third party

Which dept are you in the bank? They wouldn’t ask for bank statements if they had no way of verifying the details provided. Don’t you think

IRCC is a central body and not an “individual”.

I do not have any of this as I just completed my M.sc and will be coming home to apply for this stuff. Any advice?

If I am correct, you do not reside in Nigeria right? The whole idea is that you should leave Canada after your program. So provide evidence of ties to the country that you currently reside in.

Other gurus in the house should also assist here please.

Oh, thank you. I haven't started my application yet. Based on what I read here I organized my sop and the document list. I will include that. Is there anything else I am missing?

You need to establish strong ties back home, so you can convince the VO that you will return to your home country. If you have landed properties, a land, or you can get a deed of transfer from a relative, you can also include your car documents, your pension statement - this shows that you will return home because your pension account can be fully accessed upon retirement in home country. A study leave from your employer would have helped with employment ties, but get others.

Just get as much ties as possible.

All the best.

Instead of singling out Indians. They want to target everybody

I don’t know for them o. The 30+ Detected COVID cases were Indians that flaunted rules. Mainly coming in from the land border.

They cannot use their own to spoil our own in Jesus name.

Please how much did anybody that applied for study permit pay? Because my agent said he was charged $235 USD equivalent of #112800. But the receipt he showed me clearly said $235 CAD. I want to know whether any of you bought $235USD and deposited in Dorm acct and while making payments, Canada still charged the same $235USD. Thanks

Emeka! You and this your agent. Hmmmm

You’ve been advised to ask for your login details and monitor things yourself. How will Canada charge in US dollars? It’s 235CAD please and that should be about 80something thousand depending on the exchange rate when you pay. Someone in Canada paid for me. But there are other ways to pay, I think I’ve seen how on earlier threads.

Hello everyone,
Please I tried requesting for mbs at keystone bank today and they were asking for reference number.
Does anyone understand what they mean by that

Clarify from them. What do they mean by Reference number and how can you get it? Let them direct you.

Other banks make mybankstatement easily accessible.

I did my biometric on the 19th of this month, then I got this mail some days later, I don't have IELTS and the earliest I can take IELTS is the 20th of next month while I was asked to submit on the 23rd of next month. What can I do.

It’s IDP test that is on the 20th of May. British council has earlier dates. You can book the test with British council.

If you want to explore the NSE route, then you should act fast.

It will end in praise.

No one has answered my question fa.

Yes, you can do an upfront medical to avoid delays. I submitted my study application same time as you and I’ve booked my medical exam for May.

You can visit the website of IOM or Qlife to book your appointment.

Don’t worry, you will hear from them soon. Just start working on your SOP and start gathering the documents you can, so you wouldn’t waste time in applying for visa.

All the best.

Hello People,Please i am asking this question on behalf of someone.

She wants to apply for SP but her passport would expire by next month. she has gone to renew it since feb but they said no papper. Can she apply witht the one she has and send webform as as soon as the renewed passport is available?

or she has to wait?

I think she has to wait. The passport will expire next month, no need going through the stress. Let her wait and make plans by getting other docs during the waiting period. Meanwhile, can’t she visit other passport offices?

I have an upfront medical with Qlife for the 30th of April. Is there anyone willing to swap for the first or second week in May?

Is Swapping that easy? Qlife already has your details for a particular appointment date.
I may be wrong, kindly enlighten me

Yes you can submit mybankstatement for yourself as the "Applicant",

and your Brother can submit a mybankstatement for you as "Sponsor".

I don't know how you will be sending yours, but GTBank's service has the option to select the category of who is sending the statement.

You can go ahead to notarize it here in Nigeria. There's nothing wrong with that. Both Canadian and Nigerian laws recognize electronic/proxy signing of documents. As long as there's no indication of fraud.

This is really helpful. Thank you very much

Hello All,

How are we doing?

Please I will need your assistance here,

I am applying for a study visa to Canada and due to a sum received into my account, a Deed gift and LOE has been prepared for me by my Mum.

Now the issue is that, she is in Canada at the moment for a visit and this was clearly stated on the LOE.

We want to Notarize this Deed gift. Can I go ahead and Notarize it here in Nigeria??..... Or must the Deed gift be Notarized in Canada, because my Mum is presently there

I really hope I get assistance and advice here. Many thanks
