Hello dr, im pregnant, found out last week after missing my period. initially tot it was d antibiotics bt i decided to jus test anyways and i got a bfp. im so Happy, God did it ooooo. now my big question is i was augumentin 1g twice a day and gentamycin twice a day too wen i concieved and was on it for 8days before my bfp. i stopped immediately i found out i was carrying. the dr i saw said d drugs wont cause any problem and suld com bk wen im 10-12wks gone. u tink ds drugs wer safe?. i feel very fine between

Hello everyone. got my bfp som days back bt im a bit worried. i was on augumentin 1gram twice a day and gentamycin injection twice a day aswell for heavy growth of staphylococcus infection, was on d drugs dor nine days. started dem three days after ovulation. I truly wasn't expecting to get pregnant but God did it. i stopped the drugs immediately i got my bfp, hop d ones i have taken won't affect my baby and im also worried d staph infection isnt completely out. im on pregnance atm nt dont intend going to see a gynea till in two to three months pregnant. i feel very fine save for mild cramps n fatigue. i believe i am well though, my human nature takes control and vents sometimes. i guess im team January.

Thanks for you advice, and yes the drugs are most sensitive for the treatment. I hope its not hormonal ooooo

Hello doctor,. for three months now i have been experiencing scanty period. on the first and second day i bleed half a pad which is very unusual as i bleed heavily using more than two pads for the first three day, now i dnt bleed at all on the third day. i went for a pelvic and abdominal scan on day nine of my menstrual cirlcle, resuld showed i av minute fluid in my POD, suggestive of of PID. i felt d result was okay and went ahead to do a culture and urine test on my own. it showed i have a heavy growth of staphylococcus aerues, gps+++, pus cells++. i am currently treating with augumentin 1g and gentamycin. can staphylococcus be the cause, can this treatment i am on cure it. i jus got married and i am nervous if i am going to b fine
