I continue to read the endless outrage on the muslim-muslim ticket adopted by APC. This choice has not gone down well with some set of people who claimed the party has an islamisation agenda to pursue. They have continued to spread this news and and attacking the person of BAT and his deputy. However, APC claimed the decision was a political calculation to give them an edge especially in the northern part of the country. The aim of any political party is to win election. Political parties are not religious bodies, hence cannot use religious sentiments to decide.
Currently, we have Muslims christian ticket(Atiku/Okowa), Christian-muslim ticket( Obi/Datti) and Muslim-Muslim ticket(Tinubu/Shettima). People have the liberty to vote for any of the combination and should stop condemning the choice of a political party.
What's even the effect or influence a christian VP has in Nigeria of today. Osinbajo has been a VP for 7 years, but persecution and killings of Christians has continued in the middle belt and some parts of the north. What has he done about it?
I think people especially Christians should look beyond dragging for a VP position to balance the equation but pressing that the senate president or speaker of the house of rep be reserved for a christian to allay the fear of the people. Office of the senate president has more influence than a VP whose duties is subject to the one assigned to him by his boss.

You see this 2023 election, voting for a christian president is sacrosanct. It is a must, in fact, it is our constitutional right to make sure we have a Christian president come 2023. Anything short of that is a no-no. Forget about vice president, forget abt Senate president. We don't need those position now considering the brutal killings of Christians all over Nigeria, we can't stay another 8years in this country with a moslem president.

So , whether you are from north, south, east or west, as long as you are a christian or your religion and holy book has Jesus Christ written in it, I beg you to get your voters card ready and on the election day, make sure you vote in a Christian president. We can't continue to be treated like second class citizens in our own country. A christian president from the south is a must. Enough is enough.
