Jobs/VacanciesRe: Should I Leave My Job And Japa To The UK by Uchemus(m): 7:18pm On May 25, 2022

like i advised the Op, abroad is good and you have to work hard. However, if you are not in a high skilled position dont expect to be in the level you were when you were in Nigeria. Those high skilled jobs dont come easy even when you are qualified. So he should weigh his option. Because he will not be happy when he sees his colleagues doing well, buying expensive cars and he has nothing to show.
There is something fundamentally wrong with how an average Nigerian youth reasons. To most of you, it's all about buying expensive cars to show off. Why shouldn't he be happy when his colleagues are doing well. If you aren't doing well you would be happy for your colleagues not to do well? Is this not witchcraft? That's why many of you are into fraud to buy expensive cars for show off.

Off point.

The point is, things are not as rosy as people think. You'd understand if you've ever lived abroad. Until then, none of this will make sense to you.
Pls dont be a daft. My question was simple and clear. As you have told us the percentage of people living paycheck to paycheck abroad, pls also tell us the percentage of people who are living from paycheck to paycheck in Nigeria.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Should I Leave My Job And Japa To The UK by Uchemus(m): 10:17am On May 25, 2022
Flipmac:
Lol.
You clearly have never lived outside Nigeria, if had you for don calm down.
Only 20% live large, most people live paycheck to paycheck. Facts.
Since youv done a study and have come to a conclusion of the percentage of those living large, and those living paycheck to check.

Please, use the same energy to find out the percentage of those that even have a paycheck in Nigeria, let's not even get into those living paycheck to paycheck. Thanks.

not really. Many took up menial jobs because thats what was available. Even the IT sector is competitive. Visa sponsorship for good jobs is very hard.
We are saying the same thing. Its definitely competitive. It's all about the willingness to take that risk and work hard. With hardwork you would get there. But the think is most Nigerians seems to be greedy and are entitled. They want to come in and become CEOs from the get go. Nah bro, you'll have to work for it to get to the top.

If anyone thinks its too hard or too competitive, or unwilling to work from the bottom up, that person would be better off remaining in Nigeria. But if someone is willing to take the chance, not just for yourself, but for your kids and their future, then I would say go for it.

My grouse is with the people that are jobless in Nigeria that keep critizing those that are legitimately working hard to earn a leaving outside the country. But you never see them share stories of those that are making progressing.

There is nothing misleading about it. Someone has shared a personal experience about her life and time in the UK. It is left for people to make of it, what they want. They can use the info or her experience to help them make an informed decision on their japa plans and destinations.

You can watch it, then decide to stay back, move or reroute your destination. The choice and final decision always lies with an individual and the OP is seeking other people's views on his japa plans. I only pointed him to views of people with actual diaspora experience, how many of us commenting here have lived abroad? I haven't o, so let me direct him to those who have.

And when you say few individuals, I wonder if you read most of the comments below her video. I didn't listen to Juliet's tale alone, I read other people's views and experiences too. But make I rest, I am not here to argue on someone's thread, just passing on info and sharing knowledge.
Op, these are they kind of people that would discourage you from leaving the slum, those that havnt even left the shore of Nigeria before. They are too quick to share people bad experience abroad, but they would never tell you about those that have made it.

Everyone's experience is unique. For instance you can expect someone who has no skill to travel out and make it all of a sudden. You would need to work hard and upgrade your skill. If you know you aren't ready to work, you can aswell stay back. But if you are looking for where your hardwork would be rewarded then you can take the chance. I believe with the level youv gottent to in Nigeria, based on your salary, there is a good chance you would get a job in the Uk that would be willing to sponsor you.

Those complaining about menial jobs in the Uk are those that are jobless and doing menial jobs in Nigeria. They rather stay lazy in Nigeria and beg people doing menial jobs abroad for money than to work.

You might be very comfortable in Nigeria, but this is Nigeria, anything can happen, and very quickly.

All the best.

Your validation isn't need, do with it what you will. There's a difference between preference and outright irresponsibility. If you also think you can take advantage of the woes of Nigeria, Opperess people and get away with it coz you have the money, then you are a pig too.

I feel you my negga. This is what most people don’t realize. Just have your money in this country and you can get away with almost anything. How much be police escort sef? Who born monkey to come do anyhow for where you dey? You talking about living like a king, negga I live like a young god!
Most people aren't leaving the country because they want to live like kings or gods. Most people leave coz they want sanity. You may think moving about with police escort is cool, but guess what? People leave the country coz they want to feel safe without needing police escort. And you think getting away with anything coz you have the money is ideal, shame on you. Pigs like you is the reason people leave the country.

Known strategy for trolls;
1. When faced with a argument you can’t refute, CURSE.

2. When dazed by brilliance, PERSONALIZE

when desperation enters arguments logic disappeared
simply question

Quackery
So in rural area where there is internet or communication facilities
who are you going to consulthuh?
Youv made no brilliance for me to be dazzled by.

Who wrote this for you or where did you copy it from, coz this seems to be the only near sensible post youv made.

Youv criticized the medical professional for checking up or consulting with a colleague when unsure, even though this is for the sake of patients safety, which I find very daft of you. I would like to take my time to educate you, since you are ignorant, that no doctor knows it all. This is why there are hirarcy of doctors from junior to senior who should be working as a team.

Back to your question where you a doctor is in a rural setting. It's very unlikely not to have network to call a senior colleague and seek for advice regarding a patient. In an unfortunate situation where there are no sort of communication at all, then it's best to safely refer the patient than doing harm by giving the wrong treatment.

Bottom line, it's not wrong for a doctor to seek help. A safe doctor is the best doctor. Its a shame the level of illiteracy and ignorance been exhibited by you lots. But please now you know, educate those after you. You could contribute to making Nigeria a better place.

You can't fulfill any dream in life if you are not feeding yourself and taking care of your responsibilities like family , rent.

Making your dream come to pass is not moinmoin, which is most people never do.

Most people you see massively successful today except those born to rich families worked jobs first. Not talking about Nigeria, talking about the USA.

There is dignity in labor. No dignity in begging relatives and friends to lend you money or pay your children's school fees.
The fact that people see being a security personnel as a bad job is worrisome. This goes to show you how deep the rot in our society is. Most Nigerians dot believe in dignity in labour.

To work security in America, you have to under go training, almost police like.

They don't just allow anyone to do any job in some countries.

Security is serious matter; peoples lives and properties are under your watch.
Most of these people haven't crossed Nigeria's border before, not even to Cameroon, yet they are the ones with the loudest opinions.

Internet generation doctors. Avoid any doctor less than 50yrs of age they belong to the internet generation. So sad
what about doctors that are 49 years?

And between a doctor who graduated at the age of 25years with 10 years of experience, and a doctor that graduated at the age of 40yrs with 10 years of experience, which of them have more experience?

Can you now see that you are a m0r0n. No country will make progress with people like you living in it.

Your terms and conditions are just simply too much, a huge turn off.

-Don't you think that is too much of a sacrifice to ask of someone you're not married to?

-Do you think you're worth that sacrifice?
Why would you ask someone to give up their fertility?
-How far have you gone with him to dare to ask that of him?
-Do you know the magnitude of the sacrifice you're asking for?
- Isn't that selfish of you?

-Will you be ready to take the blame later in future?
If I were the guy, I'd take that as a red flag.
I'd be the one to opt out.
