STATES WILL GO FOR STREAM II AS INDICATED BELOW
i. Duration:- 3 weeks
ii. Commencement:- Monday 1st September, 2014.
iii. Registration:- Monday 1st to Tuesday 2nd September, 2014
iv. Swearing-in Ceremony:- Wednesday 3rd September, 2014
v. Closing Ceremony:- Monday 22nd September, 2014

birdman: Tinubu is a practical politician. Soyinka is more idealistic. Paying visits to former heads of state is not really to garner their support, as much as it is to make sure they dont work against you. You have to assuage the fears of the king makers, so that they know you are not taking power to pursue an agenda against them. It doesnt mean APC will win, but at least you are only fighting Jonathan instead of multiple factions.

It may seem so on the surface. However, what a APC is trying to do is build a coalition in a shortest time frame possible. Don't forget election is but a few months ahead. Whatever they need to build, they need it to do it now. Grassroot mobilization takes years of planning which APC does not have.
