fredoricko: 1. If they don't apply, we won't know for sure now, would we? As long as their intention is just to temporarily visit and come back, then all is well. All they've got to do is convince the V.O of same. But if you ask me, two adults with no ties to Nigeria save a family business is not so much of an advantage. All the same read the thread properly ( part 1 and 2) and advice them thusly. 2. If they'll be travelling together then group interview would be fine (personal opinion). Irrespective of their mode of application, special care should be taken when filling the DS-160 form. 3. Waste of money huh? That's a risk all applicants take.
The above advice is given with the belief that the applicants are not potential immigrants. Wish ur siblings a successful application/interview.
#Prof. FredoRicko Thank you for your response prof. Sole aim of traveling is for a visit(bday party). But I don't wanna go wasting money since 3 people are involved here. I didn't get this statement "But if you ask me, two adults with no ties to Nigeria save a family business is not so much of an advantage. All the same read the thread properly ( part 1 and 2) and advice them thusly." Pls explain ! Thanks |

Dear Officer,
I intend to invite my 3 siblings for my daughters bday early Feb. This is their 1st niece and all man is too excited to meet her.
They are 2 boys aged 25 and 27 and 23 year old girl. Girl is in final year pharmacy and 2 boys are post NYSC looking for better job but currently running popsy's business!
I applied for my parents in Jan and they got 2 years visa. They came for 2 months in feb when I had a baby and left hurriedly lol. Cold was too much !
My problem now is" 1."what are the chances of them getting a visa for a visit? 2. Should I request a group interview for them or Everyman on his own? 3. I don't want dem to burn 150k applying & traveling and not getting a positive result.
Pls, advice! Thank you |

imas: I like your spirit, but I'll advice you carry out a research and then decide because in this country imports account for a huge percentage of our daily consumption, for example do you know the major brands of shoe polish we use (kiwi, & bee and flower) are imported? so we cannot establish industries to produce these things? that's why I said I love your spirit. Thank you, Virtually everything in Nigeria is imported from rice to tomatoes to milk to biscuit to groundnut oil . Fish chickek toothpaste toothbrush . Its unfortunate but that's Naija. Our neigbours when we were growing up used to import matches and he was a big millionaire. Who will |

amerengues: Ok. Firstly, I will say in my candid opinion that the money one has is not as important as the expertise involved. I will advise you dedicate time to understudy the business u will eventually do. Betterstill, find an interesting thing you want to produce and get trained.
Success. You are very correct sir. I was trying to give an estimate of what I have so I don't get suggestions for what I can't afford. Expertise is the key! That is the reason I need suggestions from experts on what to produce and subsequently follow up with them and get trained on it. Training is very necessary, but that is until I decide on what to do. |

Strongbest: Heyllo madam, left for me announcing your capital here isn't necessary for some obvious reasons.
However, I will advise you never to go into any business you don't have thorough knowledge of, no matter how promising and profitable it looks. Check our free training thread out and see if anything interests you there.
Hello Strongbest, I am not announcing my capital as in 'announcing' Just to give an idea of how much I have so someone does not give me insight on 10 million naira business. I rather start small and then grow. I will check out your thread. Thanks
@ Unionized, hmmm. That's a tough one. 1$ Was sold 270 naira today. |
