Teen Run-over Train While Clicking Selfie.


A 16 year old student in Vandalur was run over by a sub-urban train as he attempted to click a selfie with the speeding train behind him.

The tragedy occurred when Dinesh Kumar, a class XI student, was walking along the railway track with a friend. The train ran over him as he tried to click a picture of himself and died on the spot.

The victim's body was sent for post-mortem and the incident is being looked into by the cops. Doctors have warned that taking too many selfies might be a sign of a mental disorder.

To those selfie-bugs out there, make sure you are in a safe area before clicking.

An Indian-origin man in the UK Man Rapes Transvestite


Siavash Jangani, 34, an Indian-origin man in the UK has been sentenced to 5 years in jail for raping a transvestite in a night club. He was proven guilty as a result of DNA evidence found on the victim’s wig.

Jangani’s DNA was on the police system following a previous conviction for criminal damage. However he claims, “I think he planned the whole case as a game. I haven't done anything wrong. I did not force (him) to do anything he didn't want to do.”

Jagnani represented himself in court and was supported by his girlfriend. He told the police that he thought the victim was a woman and that he had “come on” to him after he went to the toilet to be sick.

The victim said he was scared and powerless and said, “my dignity was taken from me,” and felt “hysterical and guilty” for not fighting.

Manchester City have confirmed that Pep Guardiola will take over as their new manager at the end of the season after Manuel Pellegrini announced he will leave the club when his contract expires in June.

Guardiola always insisted his new team will be revealed once he sorts out everything with his new club and City have now confirmed the Etihad Stadium will be his next destination for the next three seasons.

The Premier League club's statement read: "Manchester City can confirm that in recent weeks it has commenced and finalized contractual negotiations with Pep Guardiola to become Manchester City FC Head Coach for the 2016-17 EPL season onwards."

ISIS: “Lion’s Share” of Attacks in UK


The latest edition of ISIS’ Arabic newspaper, ‘Al Naba’ (The News), has warned Britain of an attack even more severe than the Paris attacks, which killed 130. The threat is in response to the UK's “declaration of war against Muslims,” in reference to last month's UK Parliament vote on airstrikes against ISIS.

The article warned on an attack so severe that it would “turn children’s hair to white,” – a reference to a Quranic verse describing the horrors of Judgement Day. Last week, ISIS released a video that featured 9 of the Paris attackers, including ringleader Abdelhamid Abaaoud.

Further examination of the video suggests that Buckingham Palace and National Gallery, which are visited by millions of people every year, are considered potential targets. "Soft targets with a potential to cause mass casualties" are ISIS targets of choice.

Kerber Upsets Serena to Win AUS Open


7th seeded Angelique Kerber has defeated Serena Williams in the Australian Open final in a shocking 6-4 3-6 6-4 result. It was all Kerber in the first set who gained an early break and held on. The German returned Serena's serves extremely well, showcasing an amazing defensive game, forcing Serena to go for that extra shot and commit unforced errors.

Though Serena stormed back in the second set, she self destructed in the third, missing regulation shots in the face of relentless returning from the tenacious German. She clawed back two breaks but could not hold serve when it mattered, when serving at 4-5.

28 year old Angelique Kerber has won the first Grand Slam of her career while Serena's quest for her 22nd Grand Slam continues. Ultimately, Serena's 46 unforced errors to Kerber's 13 told the story of the match.

India Behind Terrorist Attacks?


On Wednesday, terrorists☠ had attacked the Bacha Khan University in Pakistan, killing 25 people. The Pakistani Taliban initially took responsibility for the attack, but curiously, they denied any involvement later.

What's more, Former Pakistanian Interior Minister, Rehman Malik, blames India for the attack, saying, “We should not take the threat of India's defense ministry lightly. Indian agency R&AW (Research & Analysis Wing) is behind the attack on Bacha Khan University. They have reached at an understanding with Tehrik-e-Taliban.”

He also said, refering to Indian Defence Minister, Manohar Parrikar, “How dare he talk about us, I say that he's the one responsible for Bacha University.” Malik claims that Jaish-e-Mohammad isn't involved in Pathankot, but India's RAW/R&AW is the culprit. Parrikar said last week that he and India can't tolerate any more acts of terror.

The Napoli boss, after the match confirmed that he might have used homophobic language during the touchline bust up but cannot remember exactly what he said. This row stemmed from Ljajic's late penalty goal after Mancini accused Sarri of using racist and homophobic language. Whiles Sarri admitted to the accusation, he suggested the matter be left on the pitch. "I was fired up and angry, so I’m not sure what I said. New Facebook Browser Coming soon.

Facebook is hoping to compete with Chrome and Firefox with their very own internet browser. The browser allows users to surf the net without having to leave their Facebook account. So far, Facebook has added its messenger app but a browser could make really make it stand up to Google.

The new in-app browser is aesthetically pleasing and has a bar on the bottom which tells you how popular a post is, it includes back and forward buttons, and a menu button. So far, it’s only missing feature is tab support, but if this works out, FB might eventually come on par with Google.

The browser is only made available to a small group of users with a Beta version within a few months.

Social activist, Anna Hazare has received a death threat once again. The threat was sent as a letter from an anonymous sender to Hazare's home town Ralegan Siddhi and is dated January 12th. Penned in Marathi, it warns Hazare that January 26th will be Hazare's last day on earth and that he should prepare for his death.

The death threat was immediately submitted to the police and Hazare's security has been tightened. This is not the first such threat for Hazare, another was sent in August, 2015.
