... Unfortunately... there is no other way unless ur program runs beyond the validity... if the Study permit covers ur studies, u are outta luck.... the options are..

1. Another program
2. Post Grad work permit.

P.S ... This is based on what I know... u feel me... Don't be worried about extension for now bro... land first and settle down... Once u settle down... all these will be clear to u... U have ur peers here to enlighten u... its not magic or scary thing... worry not..

Picked up my passport from vfs today and noticed the trv expires 2017 and thats two years so I was just wondering if there are ways to renew until am ready for my masters

Guessing u are talking about Study permit.... few months at least 3 months before your 2yr study permit expires you apply for extension with ur Masters Admission... or you go for ur Post Grad work permit and since u are going for a 2yr prog... u are entitled to 3yrs work permit... during which u can apply for your PR... once PR shows u can then go for Masters...

If you are going for a 2years course and you are given a 2year visa how do you go abt it when both are expired and you intend getting your Permanent residency permit or applying for a masters after your pgd

I applied for trv (PGD) on the 8th of October and my application was updated medical passed on the 20th of October but since then I haven't heard anything. My application is quite straight forward. I'm sponsoring myself having been in employment for the past 8 years. I paid first semester tuition and I have travelled quite a bit too. USA and UK included, yet I'm still freaking out cos I heard Travel history don't hold water with the Canadian embassy. I'm actually just seeking words of encouragement hence, my post. Please, if you are in a similar situation let me know. I would also like to hear opinions from the house. Thank you once again guys.

Please has anyone who applied on 19th or 20th Oct either online or paper route received any update like medical passed or forward your passport? please i am dying of tention here because since i applied on 20th of last month through paper route and did medical upfront, passport submitted and also paid for courier services and since then i have been tracking the status of my application and it have been your passport is being proccessed in Canada office Accara. please can someone talk to me because i want to report to the school to commence with registration and other stuff before the school will go for christmas break and my classess will start on 5th January 2016, and morever one need to travel earlier to get acclimatize with the weather and the environment .we know to some poeple change of evironment will always bring sickness and breaking down.. and it takes time to develop adaptive mechanism..please your contribution or advice is highly needed ...from all and the gurus...God bless us all
