yemmit90: To be honest with you, the current economy did not favour any business, we are all just pushing it for better days. Nothing better than providing services for people to get pay these days. But if you must do business, you can consider one of the following;
1. Go and rent a small store and start selling wholesale drinks and bottle watter.
2. Buy land at fairly good location and sell after a year or 2.
3. If you can do transport busines by yourself, you can get a mini bus.
In all you do, avoid any business that will require electricity or generator, a product that can spoil so easily or always put you at the mercy of buyers. Thanks and I appreciate |

ProjectsCityNG: You are wrong. That's why business is scalable. The first rule of business is fo not lose capital. This means if one has 5M, he should not use more than 2M for business so he has excess to keep business afloat till profits start coming in.
I will give him a tip to setup a cottage business that has 4-8 hands doing the labour work and aiming to make at least 50-120k per day. I have set it up for people before so I know. Let me have an insight about this cottage investment Comrade |

Stephench: The comments here are the reason Africa will never be good. Yoruba and Hausas are rejoicing over human right violation by the military and aberration of rule of law.
This governor is a weakling. It's obvious Very weakling, They don't know the Power of a Governor, for my own state, you dey come bomb, none of the Nigeria Army will serve in the State again. Wish Ibori is a Gov. He won't allow all this to happen, he would have gone there after the killing of the Military Men. The Governor's House is just for Fun and Birthdays Celebration. They're always very active when it comes to Birthday Wishes, they don't joke with it. Is that the problem of Deltans? Bro, we are not in the Ages. Fish those people out, do to them what it's been stated in the Martial Court. But the Government doesn't care about anyone. That's why in all you do, don't fight Govt and never to put your hope on Govt. |

If you were in Imo State, would have showed you my catfish farm so you see what I mean. If I'm in Delta State, I would have go into this business, but this kind of business doest need a proxy, no brother or friend that can stand for person. But here in Lagos, that money won't be enough to buy a plot of land |

Business › Re: Is It Profitable Buying Nigeria Used Cars From Owners And Reselling? by Ugonofure1: 9:53am On Mar 21, 2024 |
advanceDNA: Car business involves large capital, especially at this inflation period.....u get that already...
So....if u have plenty cash lying around no wahala...u can be buying cars anyhow and sell later.....but if not.... it won't make sense to tie cash down all the time because sometimes, car sales can be very fast and can also be very slow....
1)...its not a bad idea to throw cash into to q deal if the deal is sweet and distress sale. .for example..a good 2010 muscle going for 2.7M or an RX 330 going for 4M at this inflation time.... why?..these kinda deals cannot stay for long..(u cannot afford to wait to get a sure buyer before u move in.....u don lose guard be that) ........so u can throw in ur cash because u will surely sell later for good profit as both are cars that are in demand ( in my opinion, u can't same with a Ford Mondeo or an Opel zafira, or nissa sentra) so know ur cars.....some cars fly fast...and some dont, unless they are dirty cheap....
2)...it won't make perfect sense to pour ur small working capital to buy a used muscle for 5.5 M and be waiting to sell, unless u have an immediate buyer for it....the chances u will just tie ur cash down is high.....u are business man..u need to turnover money....
***...remember cars need servicing...if its in ur shop fo long and u haven't sold it, u will still cough out maintenance cost.....and cars can be funny... u can just wake up and the engine switch, or one sensor can start saying its time it wants to collect small part of the money u are managing...
So sometimes...it pays to do middle man deals where u market other pples car...and if a buyer shows interest....u can do a quick cash in cash out....( Instead of buying & waiting for buyer u don't know)..na tokunbo dealers dey role like that... ....or if the buyer trusts u...u can even get paid...buy the car and deliver to client, without even using ur capital..
###My opinion shaa You have a good view and I like that from you and I would want to learn from you please. What business will you advised me to go into with capital of 5 million? I'm here in Lagos I would appreciate if you give me time to learn from you. So that Man no go make mistake wey he go regret later. Thanks and I'm checking always to see a response from you. |

Some Indians or Chinese come to Nigeria with less than that and leave Nigeria with Quadruple of that. Look around you young man, Nigeria is where you can multiply that money. What business will you advised him to go into? |
