Today is finally my day to celebrate!!!
Family of 4
VISA application: October 19 -20
Biometrics: Abuja TLS October 26 (standard) (walk in for the 2 children. We couldn't get the same date for them)
Non straight forward mail: November 1st (4 of us)
Request mail for more documents: November 1st (main applicant only)
Requested documents submitted: November 4th (main applicant)
We waited for one week and nothing happened we had to send paid mail asking for progress of application.
Paid mail: November 11th
Decision mail : November 12th (about 20 hours after sending paid mail)
Dispatched from TLS on Friday 12th (same day as decision mail)
We waited anxiously for DHL to deliver but they didn't because of weekend.
We got our visas yesterday evening finally.

It wasn't an easy wait o. If you have money, pls pay for priority because High BP is real o. We endured a lot during the 3 weeks wait.
This journey started early 2020 and I have been reading this thread everyday religiously.
I must thank everyone on this forum for all the helpful contributions. I gained a lot.
My advice is for everyone to try and read far and wide, use Google a lot and ukvi sit (gov.uk) has almost all the information you require as well as your school website and course page. Don't also shy away from asking when you hit a brick wall too.

You can do everything all by yourself and it is far better because you are sure of what you submitted.

Another piece of advice: if you come across any information you feel might be relevant to you during the process of application, screenshot and keep it in your picture gallery. It is better that way because sometimes this information may be difficult to search for when you need them most.
Over this 2 years I have over a thousand screenshots from nairaland alone.

Why not send a mail and tag it "Urgent" ? They will respond to you and give u a date. Pple r usually too much. My sis had an appointment for 8am yesterday. Finished and waited for the result. She left by 600pm.
And she said they were clearly attending to those on appointment and those without appointment were told to write their names and hold on.

Please take your time to read about your choice of school, information about the school, about UKVI rules. If you don't read, these "fake agents" that have flooded this Noble will deceive you.

What is the IHS amount for a 15 months course?
Asking because I was told it's $1682 and if I am to go by the calculation of £470 per year, it should be £940 which I believe should not be up to $1682.

Please anyone in the group that has paid for IHS for more than a year course should help me clarify.

Please as per tier 4 dependant visa application, when filling the information for IHS payment, is my wife's visa expiry her course end date or the actual visa expiry date? Bacause I have heard people say when filling the form, I am supposed to put her course end date as visa expiry date, is that correct?

I am that person that uploaded my degree cert instead of waec cert, as I didn’t realize on time that my CAS stated waec not degree certificate.
Despite this, God still showed up for me and my family.

Submitted VAF for me and my family on 4/11/21 (priority visa)
Did biometrics on 5/11/21
Got non straight forward mail for my dependents (husband and 2kids) on 9/11/21
Didn’t get any for myself
Got collection mail for all of us on 12/11/21
Visa granted
It can only be God

I and my husband did the application ourselves. We also opted for self upload. All the information we got was from this platform. Please I want to confirm some details, If I process my visa as travelling without dependents is there a time limit before my dependents can apply for visa to join me. Also, when the dependents are applying after I have gone, the proof of fund that will be required for them, will it be in addition to the one I used to process my own application or we only need to have the amount required for their own maintenance. I am asking because I currently do not have enough money to cover for all of us at the same time, so I was thinking if I can apply first and then use the same POF to process their own application after I have gone. Your response will be appreciated please.

Then should I use #571 or rather #600 rate when transferring to uba cos of fluctuations of exchange rate. Then when the funds get to uba, I use the current rate in the market. In addition can I transfer 3k deposit using fund transfer form in the bank rather than using online banking.

As regards proof of funds. After submitting your 28 days statement. Can I withdraw the money after 2 weeks of applying.

When submitting your POF for Visa application, do the debit and credit sum matter.

Let s say you need to submit a POF of 20 million and within the 28 days window you withdrew 500,000 at once for personal needs, will it raise a red flag. Total balance was never below 20 million within the 28 days period.

Good day bro. I have checked online but no valuable answer to this. Can you pls give us a link to know these licensed universities and those that are not licensed to sponsor these two years PSV.. Just like others, the goal for some of us, is to use that route to relocate legally so we don't make mistakes of choosing a university that isn't licensed to sponsor the PSV. My program is self funded but I believe the school will acknowledge if she pays there a lot faster than me doing it here in Nigeria.
