zicoraads: Dear teachers,
The term is about to commence, please note that in every 10pupils in your classroom, 1 is an auditory learner, 6 are visual learners and the remaining 3 are kinesthetic.
Auditory learners understand easily by listening, they don't require pictures to retain the knowledge being transmitted.
Visual learners otherwise called sight learners thrive well when the teacher uses pictures and videos to deliver lessons.
Kinesthetic learners are "lets-do-the-talk" learners. They grab easily when they're engaged in practicals, experiments, role playing etc.
Please do not use the one size fits all approach this year.
Remember, if you teach kids of today the way you were taught yesterday, you're depriving them of their tomorrow. this is so cool. |

asunmoGGMU: I doubt if any PG School in Nigeria uses plagiarism software to flag infringement. It is a sad tale. The education system is actually a microcosm of what is obtainable here. I really cant figure how things can be get right. I once challenged a PG Coordinator of a renowned federal university in Nigeria on the issue of flagging plagiarized work, the reply I got was disheartening.
That said, I want to believe the 10% is kind of too much considering that most foreign schools I have seen peg it at 23-25%. If they can still put it at that range, it is not bad IMO.
To give my input on publishing in internationally recognized journal with standard, I want to say you are very much right. However, it is not to be over-simplified. How do one reconcile a nation with poor R & D, yet we crave for what is obtainable in countries that take R & D serious.
Take for instance, I am just a 'jobless' Master student in a federal university. All the papers I submitted for publications are mostly to some Q2/Q3 journal because it is free, not because it isn't worthy of being in Q1 journal or something.
This country is always peculiar. 'Good' things are always difficult to attain in this country. It is what it is. you are right. |

RealityShot: thats the point O!
too many "proud" people in Nigeria!
they would rather eat from their parent's pocket than earn a certain amount considered 'stipend' ; while some jobs are "beneath their standards"!
which smelling standard? They continue to beg money and live on parents while searching for "big job" in their room!
others take a job and have the "stupidity" to ask their boss 'how much are you paying me self, that you are asking me to do that?'
nough said. Its not lack of jobs thats our problem jarre..ITS TOO MUCH PRIDE!
NIGERIANS ARE TOO PROUD! Can you give me examples of such jobs that are considered "beneath" them? |

you never see chomttin!
come back here and tell us how much they give you because you are "really serious!"
i lil bro was given 1Mil.. He lost it in less than a year!
you must SERVE to learn any business!
THATS WHAT HAPPENS AT A J.O.B. SERVING. (or Boy in igbo) Exactly! At last someone has seen what I am seeing The ones downplaying salaried work don't know what they are saying. working salaried jobs for 2-4 years before eventually setting up your thing is the way to go in my opinion, because that period will teach you discipline, as you are under someone, and you will learn a lot too. Saving within those 4 years and branching out to start your thing will more likely be successful after the training you must have got working under people Why do you think Igbo boys are largely serious with their business and successful? That's because they served under someone for 7 years plus, going under strict discipline (and beating too if they f**k up lol ) and training under the boss. That's why when they get their "settlement" ; they don't joke with it. just my thoughts Any ways |

Believe this bitch at your own risk, life is not that smooth in Nigeria. Almost every rich business person in Nigeria got their start up funds from illegal means. Tibubu from drug business, Adenuga from IBB,Dangote from unanimous northern political support which he is also the biggest money launder in Nigeria, kalu from abịa state government money, in fact the list goes on.
Fúck all them rich people in Nigeria What do you mean by "fück all rich people in Nigeria?" The opportunities are still there to be a millionaire in your own right, its just that the country is not friendly Yet, with persistence, you can make it. |

ClumsyFlimsy: I am not a patriotic Nigerian I am first and foremost and Igbo man before being a Nigerian Likewise the average Hausa man and Yoruba man. What we all play is tribal politics That's why countries like Kenya are fast overtaking us. And anyone who has foresight can tell that we need restructuring to be better since we can't disintegrate. The North is taking the whole country for a ride and they are affecting our growth as a people And with this identity politics that our forefathers ingrained in us, how can we develop as a people? And you are wrong, an average northerner is more patriotic than a southern person. |

ClumsyFlimsy: It's obvious your are a dunce and saboteur. It's people like you that are Fulani ass lickers. I am sure you would prefer a northerner rules Nigeria forever.
How can a sensible human being call Donald Duke mumu.
So a president must come from the north hence why we should seek and vote for only a northerner that can split buharis vote. Just imagine your wack childish mentality. As it stands, fielding a strong candidate from up north is the only way to get him out of Aso rock. And getting Buhari out of Aso rock is a project every patriotic Nigerian MUST see to its conclusion |

Alariiwo: Of course yes!
Left for Yorubas alone, the refuse would be handled properly and recycled.
But when people don't stay in their region, always running to congest Lagos, the result is what we are seeing now.
They defecate into the lagoon, dump their trash carelessly amongst others.
Do you see Yorubas running to the East to choke Igbos up? Why can't we think objectively for once without ascribing tribalism to everything. Is it not almost the same allocation each states gets? Why can't others stay in their region and develop and handle their wastes properly?? There are so many Yorubas living in Anambra, Enugu and even Abia state. Check Ochanja in Onitsha, na una colony But how will you know this when you are wilfully ignorant |

Willzz: It's really sad that the African traditions have been sold to us as evil and dark. He is the same as a christian who would be found with his bible and other christian materials or muslim with his Quran and other islamic materials but because he is a traditionalist some persons have already tagged him evil. It's not what has been sold to us, its what we know Diabolical activities can be very dangerous, If Africans just do the worship the way Asians do, then no big deal, but we do know that a majority of these people seek our traditional stuff for malevolent and wicked activities, hence the fear we have for it |
