Mynd44: Sending notes might just be a way to start a friendship. She might be too shy to walk up to him. With some other guys, she might meet them somewhere.

Consider it an "Ice-breaker"
So she can tell him that

Mynd44: Now what happens when she doe the same to more than one guy? Like the poor fellow who you said "Fvcked up" she has showed the same thing to almost every guy around her. And just cos he then sees it as her normal habit, you implied he is slow.

my point is that if he had decided to read,it in another way and gone to pursue her fir something more, he stands the chance if being labelled as someone who cant be friends and just friends just cos she "smiled at him"
Sweetheart, getting to know her is a good way to find out if sending notes to guys is the norm for her. If it isn't, then he's something special.
RomanceRe: Ladies And Their Greenlight Tactics by UjSizzle(f): 8:07pm On Sep 11, 2014
Mynd44: Yeah he did. Until he asks her out and she tells him she was just being friendly and he gets burnt as she looks,at him like some freak who cant just be friends.
Ok. Let's define what the green light is not.
It's not I like you, come toast me now.
it's not I want to have sex with you right now.
it's not come put a ring on my finger right now.

It's you probably haven't noticed me, but I have you. I like what I see, you can come and get to know me too let's see if we can work out a relationship here.

Because it is very much unconventional for girls to go about propositioning guys, we are left with giving you signals to do the needful; and by that I mean going through the usual process you would had you been the one who had set eyes on me first.

It is not an invitation to jump the process.

That said, any nigger who tries toasting a girl he just met simply because she flashed her lights is probably just hoping to score some.

Black: We hate you.

White: You've been friendzoned.

micynute94: Ladies! Ladies!! Ladies!!!
Their greenlight can vary from been all smiles to ignoring you and looking for a way to provoke you for no good reason.
Experience has taught me no two signs are the same when it comes to green light.
Have had my share of ladies showing me the greenlight with varied voltage sha.
True that. She just has to deviate from the norm.
RomanceRe: Ladies And Their Greenlight Tactics by UjSizzle(f): 7:43pm On Sep 11, 2014
coolbibz: It's not always the guy's fault, some green lights could be misleading. You don't want to reach spurious conclusions & end up being rejected, it will be a disaster. Some ladies just want to get close, probably cos they've got something they really like about you, nothing more. It's imperative that green light "shines bright like a diamond" before you make any move. Some are just overly friendly.

I met this pretty chick at camp during my orientation program in one of the eastern states. Here is how we met: During one of those very boring lectures, I felt a nudge from a dude behind. He passed me some piece of paper & told me a lady behind him asked him to pass it to me; both of them were platoon members. I opened the paper & saw "hellloooo smiley", she also scribbled drawings of a rose, and some other impalpable jargons. Quite puerile maybe, but I surmise that's enough green light. I looked back to steal peeps at her, our eyes met & she smiled. I wanted to be sure, so I remained my normal reticent self. Till tomorrow, I can't tell if she's into me cos:

1. Every guy is her booboo.
2. She calls me her love, her "handsome nerd" but I got to discover she has a pet name for a platoon member too, and probably does for other guys.

so I'm just here chilling, acting like mumu. Enjoying every bit of the attention anyway; I like her. Her overly friendly (I will like to think that's what it is) self is just something I can't stand.
Guy why you fvck up like this nahuh undecided
The girl liked you sha.

AdeniyiA: we wan know your own green light wey mean say, hey fine boy 'park' com 'chop' wink
all d uj.Sizzling tactics u get cool
Hehehe I don't think I have an answer to that. Haven't been interested in men for a relationship for so long, and the last time, I was positively responsive (to an extent though) undecided

Not like 'positively responsive' isn't vague enough tongue

Just wait till I say "I like you a lot", "I'm in love with you" or "Do you think we'd make a good couple" and I'm NOT smiling and literally breathless grin

If I don't say anything, pls don't toast me. It means I've not even begun having compound interest in you.

Oh and there's that shy smile.
Maintain eye contact briefly, then look away and give that silly half smile (the one where only the left corner is used) grin
I can't help that one.
I'm generally shy around people I'm very very attracted to.

xynerise: Their understanding of greenlight might be your red light grin
lol or no light at all. It could just be me being me.
That's why I'm interested in knowing all these lights and how they are interpreted.

Btw where in the world have you been?

FamilyRe: Money Or Peace Of Mind: Which Would You Choose. by UjSizzle(f): 4:40pm On Sep 11, 2014
Katier00: I agree with you but you will find out that if I am comfortable now, there are many sins I can avoid( unless if am not discipline which is a different thing all together) and that will make it easier for me to make heaven but lack of money can lead you into doing funny things in the name of being desperate. We are not neglecting God o, I just like using our everyday life to site example, alot has change from Jesus's time to our present day lives
Look at it this way;
This is Nigeria.
We have politicians.
Politicians are rich.
There is corruption.
Money is embezzled by the rich politicians.

You define 'pettiness' by your standard. For a person earning a comfortable salary of about #100,000 monthly, stealing a bar of soap or #1,000 is petty; taking #1,000,000 isn't.
To a man barely making #200 per day, #1,000 isn't petty.

I'm being realistic here. The standard of measurement for what constitutes temptation varies as a person climbs the social/income ladder.
FamilyRe: Money Or Peace Of Mind: Which Would You Choose. by UjSizzle(f): 2:53pm On Sep 11, 2014
Katier00: Forget what happened during Jesus's time and face reality, a rich man or rather a comfortable man is not prone to petty temptations like, i stole the money to pay my children's school fees or hospital bill or i slept with him because of my house rent, there are things you can avoid when you are comfortable and responsible, your goal will be towards achieving greatness and that can make you honest and good, if you are contended
Nne I only brought that up because you talked about the afterlife and peace.
If we talk about the possibility of neglecting God by being carried away by the affairs of this world, then the rich are also tempted.
Or all those beautiful women throwing themselves at you because of all that money?

Everyone, rich and poor alike are subject to temptations. They just come in different ways.

Ndababa: Paying N4K for what many would reject if it were not made compulsory?

Sighs... Well do you blame them? This a country where the president was seen showing how to wash our hands with sanitizer. This directly means they believe most Nigerians are bunch of naive, ignorant n timid people.

So, pay your N4K (plus probably N300 bank charges - yah they collude with Banks to defraude us) at the nearest bank. Thank you!

Memories of Wannune camp still fresh tho
Wannune eh? Camp brother cheesy

Katier00: I will go for money, money can give you peace to some extend but if you are looking for total peace of mind, you cannot find it in this our present day world unless when you die and when you make heaven and you cant make heaven when you are too poor because temptations will surround you
And temptations cease when you are rich? What was it Jesus said about the rich man, camels and needles again?

crackhaus: @topic, depends on how much money we're talking about.

If it's the kind of money that can get me a beach house in Bora Bora, with at least an accompanying 50ft of private beach access...then fvck peace of mind.
I'm taking all that cheddar and buying myself some peace of mind yo!
grin

@Topic. Peace of mind.
