jaybee3: The assumption is not far from the truth though IMO.How else does one maintain beauty other than shower properly and use good lotions/moisturizers? ![]() @bolded. That's enough reason to stay away from further beautification ie downplay your looks IMO. Who loves to be bugged ![]() |
Contemplating a lesbian relationship ![]() |

Dygeasy: Yeah Yeah. Fairly okay week. Your weekend is going fine I hope.It is @your siggy. Mind explaining? Does a person need to be 'great' before practicing humility? |
Dygeasy: Hello Uju. How have you been?I've been good. Thank you Trust you had a great week. |
Dygeasy: What's happening here?Hi. Read the OP. |
teeo: Lol. It's more like a recoil mechanism. The fears can be dealt with personal and more like a propelling force to understand other situations better.Isn't that introspective? Looking within to make sense of your fears and actions? But here's the problem with depending on introspection: you most often than not give reasons to justify the presence of your actions that may or may not be adequate. The advantage of talking things through with a second party is they open you up to diverse point of views. Your self-preservative action may in truth be selfish. Your supposed selfish action may actually just be self-preservative due to circumstances. This is why people seek professional help from psychologists or choose to talk to strangers. Better answers flow when your mind isn't playing advocate, jury and executioner for you I'd love to further discuss this over chicken(maybe) and ice cream. You set the date. |
teeo: Hmmmm, big question but I like keeping my fears to myself. It makes my nightmares pleasing to me, makes me wake up stronger.Don't you just love how the human mind finds ways to justify its actions? ![]() Sorry my friend, but this is bullshïít. Fear does nothing but hold you back. It's just a collection of all the uncertainty and anxiety that plagues one's life. |
teeo:But how does one overcome fear without stepping out? Because we tell ourselves "one day I'll do this" and never get around to it because we haven't done it ![]() |
teeo: We would fall in love with each otherLol no we won't At least I'm pretty certain I won't....not if I'm paying attention.Let me know if the need to talk is far greater than your emotional fear. |
teeo: Baby where did I flirt todayI could be your therapist ![]() |
Dayjhihannon01: I think I av to tagged his's arrogance... As am typing this now he is '''still on the matter for the past 15min... Telling me what I don't care to hear.... #Well that's none of ma business again#......Tell him you don't care. I once had a friend who would go on and on about things that shouldn't bother me. So one day I said, "wouldn't it be more fulfilling if you saved all this for someone who actually wants/needs to hear them?" She got the message after that. Or you could just excuse yourself when he starts ![]() |
MizMyColi, nice thread. I like how your mind works, and your diary. Teeo do you have to be a bloody flirt all the time? Our last discussion at the movies was really helpful. Sometimes talking about nothing provides answers to questions you haven't even asked yourself. |
Dayjhihannon01: Good... Am here right on time .. #taking the front sit... I'm having a problem with why ppl of dis era boast on their potentials/attributes... Instead of their attributes speaking for them, I discovered ppl are now speaking for d attitude... I bcum uncomfortable when my cousin was blindly arguing with his friends that he remains the best organist in the whole region..... Ppl now boast of dia beauty, riches, power, e.tc..Are you talking of this thing people call "humility"? I think we mistake that word sometimes. There's arrogance and self confidence. A person being sure of who/what he is and the measure of his worth is self confident. I think that's where your cousin falls. No harm at all. It begins to border on arrogance when he sees every other organist as inferior species. But you can only tell this when you see him interact (or refuse to) with them. |
