Romance › Re: Who Are More Romantic Between Girls That Listens To Blues Or Rap Music. by UjSizzle(f): 3:11pm On Dec 20, 2013
ochon: There's no denying that music plays a crucial role in our lives and our behavioural patterns. So I think women that listen to blues are more romantic than those than listen to rap. I read a survey that said that lil wayne fans are dunces or have low IQs, so I think females that listen to blues or girlie songs tend to be more romantic than their rap counterparts. I might be wrong though.
That's one research gone wrong mehn.

@Topic, I think RnB girls are more romantic undecided I like rock, pop and the hip hop variety better though...and have been accused of being unromantic *shrugs*

Christianity Etc › Re: The Christian Chatbox ( sticky) by UjSizzle(f): 10:15am On Dec 20, 2013
aManFromMars: If you are worried about the kids, the kids will grow up and make their own decisions. I come from a Christian family and I'm atheist. I've met Christians from Hindu families, even Muslims from Christian families. The truth is love, chemistry and relationship between two people isn't science. If you marry one because of his/her 'religious' beliefs, what happens when you find out other traits he/she might exhibit that you detest? There are some habits that are tougher to change than converting an unbeliever. It could even be something as simple as sleeping position, hygiene or the way he/she sneezes. Lol. grin

Those who choose to marry a Christian should feel free to do so. There is nothing wrong in that just like those who have limited their prospects to a particular tribe. But no marriage will be sustained by beliefs alone.
Will you marry me? embarassed

striktlymi: The only 'mess up' I see there is you wanting a break up for no justifiable reason. That is, as far as your post goes.
Unless she thinks she's accepted his proposal for the wrong reasons.

^^^ Thank you.

@ATMC, thanks too.

@HBG what exactly is wrong with this guy of yours? Are you worried that you're not compatible, or that you don't think he's Christian enough for you?

It'll be feasible if the section is renamed Religion and Beliefs to accomodate them undecided

texanomaly: I am flattered that some of you think I would make a good mod here. If I'm being honest though, I'm not sure I want it. Not here anyway.

I do go to other sections, but this has become my home. I love everything about the religion section. The people. The topics. The arguments...*coughs* I mean the discussions. The religious. The irreligious. The saints and the sinners.

Where else can you find a Satanist, a Christian, an Atheist, a Pagan, a Deist , and any number of other 'ist's' all together. Even if we disagree, we can still all come together and joke around sometimes too.

I love you guys. This is my sanctuary. It is the place I come for a laugh, for a cry, for inspiration, and to get my righteous indignation on...hehehe...

I'm afraid all that will change if I were to become a mod here. I'm not sure I am willing to sacrifice that.
This made me cry sad

I don't you as a mod anymore. I don't want you 'stained' by the madness here you tiny lil angel cry

yetseyi: A lot of guys "'follow"' girls to church just to pretend that they are christains after marriage wahala will start, and because the man has authority over you whether he is a believer or not you will have to do what he says. If he says no going to church it stands oooo and the reason why he would say this is because he is not aligned with you spiritually.

I feel Ihedinobi has really explained the matter
And there can't be a compromise? What if he's ok with letting you practise your faith? And he's fine with the kids choosing whatever side they want?
I mean it's not like a union is impossible, is it?

Someone like Muskeeto will make a decent spouse, won't he?
Christianity Etc › Re: The Christian Chatbox ( sticky) by UjSizzle(f): 4:40pm On Dec 19, 2013
Ihe, we're advised to marry our spiritual brethren, but that doesn't mean a marriage outside it won't work right?

Christianity suddenly feels too restrictive in a not so good way.
Christianity Etc › Re: The Christian Chatbox ( sticky) by UjSizzle(f): 4:33pm On Dec 19, 2013
What about the scripture that talks about one spouse sanctifying the other?

Sorry i'm not so good with memorizing chapters and verses and all that. I just need to understand what these things actually mean.
Christianity Etc › Re: The Christian Chatbox ( sticky) by UjSizzle(f): 4:25pm On Dec 19, 2013
POPE II: he will push you away from the path of God . And he will bring his negative energy .
What if he can be pulled to God?
