Being a midwife is a highly sensitive & delicate assignment becos if care is not taken,instead of facilitating life,the fellow might be facilitating disability/death. If negative impressions are registered in the heart of young converts,they become almost indelible. Any believer who is supposed to be light but fails to radiate that light will definitely midwife souls in a wrong way. Today,many of us are sending souls thirsty for the Kingdom back to the world becos of the love of money. A leader who condones sin & disobedience becos the person in question is a financial supporter would find it difficult to uphold the truth of God's Word. As a result of this,he would either have no standards/operate multiple standards. Such leaders forget that people,particularly young converts are watching them wit keen interest. If converts who were expecting to see God's standard of holiness see something even lower than what they left behind in the world,we are not encouraging them to go back to their vomit?(Matt 18:6) One very unfortunate thing among Christians is the tendency to forget that every action would bring about some reactions. If people really believe in eternal judgement,they would avoid offending young converts like hell. A young sister gave her life to Christ & found herself in the midst of older believers-both male & female,they all put in effort to encourage her growth in the faith. But among them was this brother who was supposed to be the head of their Christian group. He sought to be alone wit this young sister & to lure her into fleshly lust. When this became rampant,she began to wonder if fornication was allowed in the Christian faith becos she did not know better until God helped her. Are u painting Christ as a devil by ur deeds?
PRAYER POINT: Father,let me never be an instrument in bringing down young converts.

It's a confused country we live in

February 2012 NCCF state conference during my service year. I watched a drama ministration and when it was over i realised i had tears on my face. For the first time in my life, i was truly conscious of God's presence, truly remorseful of my sins and i wept my way to repentance. Felt like a huge burden had been lifted off me and to think that was just Day 1 of the conference.
By the second day, an altar call was made and i answered. God gave me his spirit that day...my mark of ownership. The one thing i came to learn during this experience was that knowing the word wasn't enough, believing was also important. That day i learned to believe and trust God completely and it's made all the difference.
The journey so far hasn't been easy but i rest on the assurance that Jesus is mine and God's amazing grace is always there to help me in my time of weakness
