obadiah777: ahhhhh ok. i guess from that point of view it was a work of art. a masterpiece. a beauty to behold. i felt like i was in court wink wink
Well, you were in court but then you just had to can it. Oh what injustice!!! grin

Judas2013: Why block post if you think it is offensive to god? Let god do the blocking itself.
*face palm* He still doesn't get it. It's blocked for being offensive to people who worship God.
Where do you come from really?!! undecided

Judas2013: a christian shouldn't be a moderator on a religious thread unless he/she/it is prepared to sit on the fence. I don't think an atheist will stoop so low to hiding or blocking threads. Let the bible God do it himself not humans. A referee remains always on the fence
God's gonna block posts?
Where do these humans come fromhuh undecided

FOLYKAZE: thats your headache. Dont make me push it all on ya pls. Why cant you let your own children die in the front instead of whinning like a helpless widow here?

Abeg let the moderators handle my case
Oh well, you are a bag of emotions undecided
Maybe i should breakdown what HBG typed so u don't bring up the issue again: Your thread is in the recycle bin and she can't undo what a co-mod has done. Hope that's better.
Move on to better relaxing things and let go of all that pent up anger dude undecided

.....it was an interesting thread tho. Too bad it got chucked.

Folykaze seriously, it's a war and people are bound to die innocent or no. Every war in the bible had dead people na...the men are killed, women raped and children slaughtered. It is a war!! stop getting unnecessarily emotional about this biko angry

You thread is in the recycle bin and will most likely remain there undecided

striktlymi: I respect you too as a person...

I want to believe that your goal was to try and reveal the untruth (if any) behind Obadiah's prophecies. In the process of doing this I guess you got carried away...

The following are where I believe you went wrong (though I might not recall all):

1) Accused Obadiah falsely based on the evidence you presented. I believe you read my analysis on that thread.
2) You insulted those who 'follow' Obadiah
3) You threatened Obadiah
4) You insulted Obadiah's God which Ishi pointed out.
5) You 'insulted womanhood' by your words to Ishi.
6) You deliberately tried to provoke Obadiah.
7) You did commit 'slander' against Obadiah
cool Etc.
The Hand of Justice cool grin

Alfa Seltzer: HBG doesn't make the rules here. Seun does. HBG is a moderator.
She did that 'before' she was a moderator and i know this because she told me about the chatbox plan before she did it and i promised to help out..she also got permission from JeSoul to go ahead with the thread.
That thread and the opening post was carefully written(with great care taken concerning her choice of words) to avoid a backlash from non-christians, and so far it hasn't caused a single problem till the second thread was created.

striktlymi: I am talking in terms of the rules.

A Christian posting in a non-Christian chat thread is bad enough, but going to their thread to force our presence on them and provoke them is something else.

I still maintain that what Ishi and Obadiah did in that thread will NEVER be condoned in the Christian Chat thread. If it is wrong for one, it MUST be wrong for all.

All I see here are arguments based on sentiments. It is high time we stopped all these and start looking at things differently. This section is not just for Christians; if it were then the non-Christians would have no business being here.

Just like the Muslim section...that section is theirs and they can apply 'whatever rules' they deem fit over there in line with their Holy books. The last I checked, this section belongs to everyone that is not Muslim and every non-Christian share the exact same rights as the Christians.
I get what you're saying Striky, but when i say 'rules', am referring to something specific to the Atheist thread.
HBG stated categorically what was and wasn't allowed on the Christian thread, i'm saying thr Atheist should do the same too.
When a house has no rules, then everything goes since it is a chat thread and technically can't be derailed.

It's obvious LB and Ishi have bad blood btwn them from what has just happened, but how about we prevent a future occurance and stick in that rule eh? undecided
They are even free to borrow the Christian thread rule and edit to their preference.

striktlymi: This is beautifully gorgeous...

I guess this section is a Christian only section hence the indulgence?? And now they are ingrates just because they asked to be treated fairly??

Truly the "Born again Christian" spirit.

Keep it up!
How do u measure 'fairness' without rules??

@Enigma
You keep making sense more and more everyday.

@Manmustwac
What you term 'issues' is nothing but miscreants looking for trouble...don't indulge them.

I've said before that atheists and whoever else should make their own chat thread if they so desire. These people were perfectly happy when they had none before the mods thought it 'wise' to start one...funny enough they still insisted it wasn't necessary.

Like Enigma suggested.. Mods pls delete the atheist thread and let them create one for themselves and make their own rules!
This shouldn't even be an issue!! angry

druid06: Ok, just completed the fifth book on a song and fire. I'm actually waiting for the Winds of winter. Hope GRRM makes a release soon despite his old age.

While I wait, I think I would spoil myself with more books. I just saw this need book from Robert Jordan called Wheel of time. I got a good review online in regards to the book. I hope to bury myself in this 15 series long epic fantasy fiction. I hope it's worth it.
Can i get a download link for this Wheels of time?

Think it's an old tradition that started with our parents(according to my dad) back in the days when rice wasn't so common. Sunday was considered a special day to eat special uncommon food...rice. Now we've just carried it along too.
