There is no rule that says you must have a romantic relationship with someone you love. That's why i say love can be for no reason at all.
I met a guy whom i fell heads over heels for. I got attracted to his personality and this crazy aura around him, but when i got close enough i could pinpoint a hundred and one things i didn't like about his attitude. I wouldn't date him for that reason alone but it still didn't take the fact that i love him away.
I can't suddenly hate him cos i got disappointed. I still love being around him and everything else that our love entails.
It doesn't change the fact that I'd do almost anything for him.
See my point here? Being in love does not guarantee being or staying together. Our conditions limits whether we stay or not, but our heart still yearns for a miraculous change so we can be together again. That yearning us what love brings about.

i had hoped no one would bring the God factor into this but since you have, lets talk about it.
God has absolutely no reason to love. We are imperfect at best, sinners, rotten to the core and yet he loves us still. That's unconditional love my dear...what the Greeks call Agape that you and some think doesn't exist. Maybe with man it doesn't, but with God utter sure as hell does.

Lets not mar the perfections that love requires with our shortcomings as man. No one expects us to be perfect but don't make imperfection the new definition of perfect.

all she can see is that he's got some real nice attributes. But there are other people who also have what he's got and a whole not more! But do u see her going to love them instead? Nope she still stays with him and no one else.
My point is the reasons aren't why she must love him neither are they why she must choose to remain with him.

Lets not get too emotional here . Every man is selfish at his core to the point that even your good deeds are an extension of your selfishness. It's unarguable love .

Attraction plays a vital role in bringing people together. You love her looks, or the way she thinks, she's smart and intelligent, yeah her words blow you away and then you can't help it but you're drawing close to her....that's attraction in it's basic form. It's an invincible force dear.
It happens in friendship, and relationships. Jeez sometimes you don't even know what's pulling you to him/her .

When you fall in love with a person, you're blinded to their shortcomings. Even when it's obvious to others, you just can't see it cos they are perfect to you. It's what love does..it washes off imperfections.
If it were to be based on reason, then when we can no longer find a reason to be there, we'll simply pack up and leave.
Reason doesn't define love.

Man is selfish. When you get used to that fact, we can move on from there.

Look, certain qualities about people pulls us to them. That's attraction.
Wanting to be around them because of these attributes still falls in the same category. You may find them interesting, sexy as hell, or whatever reason. That's understandable.
But when you start having feelings that can't be explained or quantified for them, do you also attribute it to those qualities you saw ab initio?
That even when they lose it, you still cannot kill that feeling.
What you term 'reasons' is simply the attracting force, your feelings for them afterwards which we'll call love(for now) isn't based on it.
It's strong enough that even if you got attracted to her beauty, when she loses it you still stay put. She still looks like the most beautiful girl in the world to you.

Feelings spring up, deciding to flow with it is totally up to you.
It's normal to find someone who loves two people and needs to choose just one.
It's man's nature to be rational, so you go for one who has more to offer you than the other. That's selfish ofcourse but then it's still man's nature to want the best for himself. But it still doesn't take away the fact that you love the other just as much.
It simply means you've decided to ignore whatever feeling you have for him to settle for another.

You love them not because of that 'reason', you chose to stay with them for that.

oh goody. From a dog you'd expect loyalty which translates as a condition, with man love is about sacrifice. It's about what you give without expecting in return. From each partner's point of view, it's unconditional. However, when you place both side by side, then there's a bigger picture: each person's unconditional love complements the other's.

Now know that infatuation is when somebody is highly,greatly,inspired and interested in someone or something that they feel they can grow a great chemistry and bond with or already have.

True Love is when you love someone no matter how they are. It don't matter if your girl has more money than you or if the man does.LOVE should never be about money,sex,race,star signs or religion and you should never get with someone because your friends and family want you to be with the person it must be your choice.You can't let your family,friends and religion get in your way for true love.

True love is when two people know each other imperfections, limitations, shortcomings, and flaws, and in spite of that they accept without hesitation and without hope for a change.

In a relationship or marriage both people should be faithful,loyal,respectful,careful and have affection and passion for one another that is what True Love is. The definition goes on endlessly...

I do understand however the shortcomings of the English language, which is why I'd prefer someone got the origin Greek words and gave their meanings .

Love is the reason why when everyone else anything good in him, i can stand and associate with him.
Love is the reason why if we are romantically involved I'd stay put cos i believe i can influence him positively by being everything he isn't and make a better man out of him.
