Ifeness, we could all deliberately ignore you and wait for you to make all the noise u want before leaving us in peace or i can ask that you not pollute this thread with you non Christian views please.

We welcomed atheists in our midst who have in turn behaved in respectable manners towards us.

Please in the name of everything we hold dear, leave us in peace and don't try to deliberately offend anyone in here or use insulting terms on them.
Thankyou

The above link has something to say on Melchizedek..
so Melchizedek is Jesus afterall, thought as much. Thanx for the link, it explained it way better than my reasoning did.

about Melchizedek, read Gen 14:17-end and read Hebrews 7. Paul explained better in Hebrews, so you see where my question sprung from.

btw i don't believe any man is completely free from sin, if we were we woudn't need Jesus at all. We just believe he interceeds for us and by his strength we keep on living our lives right to please God.

Remember nevver to condemn yourself, cos the Holy Spirit never condemns us
please why is it that after committing sin,we go back to God for forgiveness with lots of promising that such won't happen again but after a while, same sin repeats itself and it kept on like that after we have said it will never happen.. In such situation what can be done to stop it completely. Because I'm a victim of this...Jesus is coming soon to take the saints away and I am not worthy with the way things are going with me. Please help
Then it means you aren't truly repentant. What does the bible say about knowing the truth and yet still go on sinning?? There's is no longer forgiveness but rather condemnation.
Ask that his grace be made sufficient in your hour of weakness. we are all humans and are bound by the desires of the flesh, but when we give ourselves completely to Christ as Lord n saviour, we begin to live a new life in him and u realise that ur old self which was sin-proned has bn transformed.

So, step 1:
Genuine repentance.
Acknowledge you are a sinner, and need help.

2:
believe you've been forgiven, and develop a personal relationship with God. Study the word, fellowship with other bible believing Christians.

We'll work on after these two.

Hi house, i've got a question...more like something for us to ponder on.

Is it possible Melchizedek was actually Jesus?

The bible recorded that Jesus is from the priestly order of Melchizedek and also that the latter had no parents or family of any sort, neither was his death nor birth ever recorded.

Could it be possible that Mel was Jesus already come to the earth but God probably figured the world wouldn't receive him at that point in time, so proceeded to make circumstances and situations that made the utmost need of a saviour really important?
So basically he had to go back to heaven only to be born many years later?...

Popowaa: I dont knw hw to explain it but to ve smthing dat can change ur faith and make u strong.i dont speak tongues i told my sis and she me to yearn for it,i prayed, fasted and still.i meet ppl and they share their encounter with God and i really wish i could ve such testimonies.i really need smthing cos i ve backslided bigtime.
each man is given a gift by the Spirit according to their measure of faith. You musn't speak in tongues dear, you may have been given a different kinda gift. But if you desire this gift so bad, then work on your faith. Remember faith 'believes' not question how...
That was the key to my receiving the gift of praying in tongues. I wholeheartedly gave my life to Christ and learned to believe in him and his word without the slightest doubt.

The bible says without faith it's impossible to please God. Pray and build up your faith by studying his word and meditating on it. I'm sure in His due time, our Father will send his spirit to you.

Romance › Re: Is It Appropriate For A Lady To Buy An Engagement Ring For Herself? by UjSizzle(f): 4:01pm On Feb 15, 2013
Where have you been girl? Hope you're good.

@topic. I think the purpose of a a ring is to seal the deal of marriage ie, an offer has been made and accepted. If a man can't afford a ring for engagement. I think he can use anything else. Rings are just conventional, bracelets won't be bad at all tongue.
But seriously, i don't think it's appropriate she gets herself a ring. Traditionally, it's a man's role to do that when he's coming to propose. If he can't afford to buy one that's expensive enough, something within his pauper means will do till he can upgrade. The woman he loves will certainly understand...hopefully.

Outside that, if they are open minded enough n she's certain he'll eventually marry her, i guess it's okay. So long they have an understanding and she lets him do the shopping himself smiley. A man still needs his pride intact...
