Will this count?

Belated birthday wishes Uju!

What did you use to straighten the tree line? Been seeing the Rule of Third setting but never bothered. Maybe cos it stems from the fact that I hate 'grids'. Seeing various entries using the settings, I may become a big fan of using grid.
Thanks love smiley

My second entry.
Pix 2: My 'never say die' companion that captures all my lovely pictures.

Confession time: Before this week's challenge I had no idea what "The Rules of Thirds" was but now I do. I've begun to pay more details to the photos I capture. Thanks to you guys. Respect to una!
I'm glad you know what it means now, but you're not exactly applying that composition to your pictures. All of these are centred.

still don't understand. Tried lookin at both picx cudnt differentiate it
Stop staring at the picture as a whole and pay attention to the details. Photography is about details-- it's the details that make the whole.

Now place both pictures side by side.
Look at the line of trees.
On your version of the picture, notice the 'line' of trees is sloping (rather than in a straight line. If it helps place a ruler at the base of the tree line to see the slope.
Now look at the edited version I posted. Notice it's straight now, rather than sloping.

That's what we mean by the horizon should be straight. It makes the whole picture more visually appealing.

Christianity EtcRe: Do Demonic Cobwebs Exist? by UjSizzle(f): 6:09am On Sep 08, 2016
I don't know.

When I see cobwebs, I get rid of them because the spiders aren't paying the rent. I don't attribute them to any demon.

You guys need to stop giving the devil too much airtime and start claiming your portion as children of God undecided
If you spent all these time looking for demons who are busy having a barbecue in hell, reading your bibles instead, you'd know that no weapons fashioned against you shall prosper. And where God dwells, the devil has no business occupying.

Oh well. Every scam has a winner and a loser. At least my pal knows it's a ponzi scheme.

Make what you can, when you can and cash out. We all know how this will end-- it's simply a matter of when it will happen.

No one has yet been able to explain how the team who manages this MMM make their money. Because if it doesn't make economic sense, then you should be worried... unless of course greed clouds your sense of reasoning.

(Images from google search.)

Most phones and cameras come with image composition in the settings like The Rule Of Thirds, Golden Ratio, Crosshairs etc.
(the last image is a grid from a phone's camera.)

If you don't have it, just imagine the imaginary lines smiley

Art, Graphics & VideoRe: Nairaland Weekly Photo Challenge by UjSizzle(f): 6:12am On Sep 05, 2016
sommyblaze:
pls am not cleared on this
The rule of third is a " rule of thumb" or guideline which applies to the process of composing visual images such as designs, films, paintings, and photographs. [1]The guideline proposes that an image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally spaced horizontal lines and two equally spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections. [2]Proponents of the technique claim that aligning a subject with these points creates more tension, energy and interest in the composition than simply centering the subject.

Muslims don't work on Sundays but Friday should also be set aside as workfree day for justice and fairplay.
But the weekend is essentially Saturday and Sunday. This isn't about justice and fair play if we just happen to attend church on Sundays too.
The Sabbatarian worships on Friday and yet they work. So what has this got to do with Christianity and Islam?

What's wrong about asking for the app to be more secured? Do you know how many people get scammed on Facebook because of fake identity?
Abeg make Uma drift joorh. I think she asked a good question and it isn't just for her.
LinkedIn needs to deal with the same problem, too. Fraudulent people should not be given an avenue to express their foolishness.
