Segeggs: what goof? If not that our reasoning as nigerians has been so bastardized by our corrupt leaders that we can't see how the president's visit is connected to the robbery(not saying he perpetrated it).
Robbers of such calibre do not operate without solid information. How well do you think they can operate when they get info from the police themselves about how majority of their men will be at alert concerning the president's visit? Maybe these robbers have been studying the trend of mr president's visit and must have noticed how concentrated on him the nigeria police are whenever he visits any state, a thing they took advantage of.
It's just so sad that here in nigeria, we ignore little signs that might lead to the solving of big cases.
Illiterates everywhere. its well with you bros!! |

agaugust: Niger Delta militants are a 100% Christian force loyal to each other with no traitors. Nigerian army has 50% Islamic faithfuls as soldiers and they have moles as enemies within, secretly working for Boko Haram and betraying the Nigerian army by leaking out operational information and also smuggling army weapons to Boko Haram.
Niger Delta militants won't defeat Boko Haram, you have no air force and no tanks or artillery, therefore both sides will have equal firepower and lead to a stalemate of a war with no winner no loser.
You will end up like Somalia where rebel vs rebel combat led to a stalemated war that had no end until AU and UN intervention forces deployed there.
You think Kanuri tribe will surrender to Ijaw tribe? You will be seen as a Christian force invading Isamic lands and before you know it, Iran, Turkey, Syria, Morocco, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, etc will be sending weapons and mercenaries to help Boko Haram..... that war will continue for the next 20 years with no winner no loser and hundreds of thousands of civilian casualties . u r right bros, but i only gave that as instance...your response smells of experience and is well articulated. now u now understand my anger with our military... the problem startd with our politicians...i had first hand experience of what our military has turned into back in the creeks..before the come to us, their generals sabotage them alot but the guys are really brave |

agaugust: Did Nigeria buy rifle from South Africa? We bought SAMIL transport trucks and MRAP including medical ambulances.
You have no wide knowledge of military stuff beyond your AK-47 rifle and some ancient low tech Niger delta militancy war.
The AK-47 rifle remains the most reliable assault rifle in the world today. Even Algeria the oil rich nation with the biggest defence budget in Africa is still using AK-47 rifle locally manufactured and also using the Chinese version of AK-47.
Nigeria is now fighting war with guided missile armed drones and we are the first in Africa and the only nation in Africa to do that, yet you still still say Nigeria is poorly armed. No country in Africa can match Nigeria's ISTAR capability NOT even Egypt or South Africa, they are 66 years behind us in combat ISTAR equipment technology.
Mister delta fisherman, go mend your canoe and go back fishing after you watch the BBC video in the weblink below :
