3. Not all South African PMC's are from the border war - some leave the SANDF and SAPS for it.

5. 32 Battalion (800 men) was the only unit that extensively used foreigners for the duration of the war. The rest of the SADF was 100% South African, Namibians served in the SWATF (a completely different army)
