Thank you Mr. President. This is the Buhari that we voted for. A man who will stand on the side of truth no matter whose ox is gored. The so called extension was illegal, undemocratic, not in good faith and absolutely unnecessary. If the party constitution says that the NEC should serve for a period of four years, then four years it is. Whoever still wants to continue in office should be ready to stand for another election and win the votes of party members. Giving silly excuses to illegally extend the tenure of party executives is against the spirit of internal democracy and also a violation of the rights of party members to contest for party positions and elect people into party offices. APC is not PDP, they must set a good example when it comes to internal party democracy.

For the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, it is a case of unending political squabbles, especially across states where the party currently wields considerable power and influence, especially in the north.

The crises, in the estimation of political watchers, if left unchecked could affect the party’s chances of retaining the very states where it has firm roots.

Seven states that are worst hit by the intra-party rumble are Kaduna, Kano, Kogi, Bauchi, Katsina, Benue and Jigawa.

The main opposition party, PDP, which was almost declared dead and non-existent in some of these states appears to be resurrecting, following last month’s Supreme Court’s judgment which ended its protracted leadership tussle.

Can a man without Waec ,a minimum criteria to qualify for presidency race be said to have integrity? Can a man who gives protection for looters under his administration be said to have integrity? Can a man who authorized his AGF to meet a forgitive abroad and subsequently paved way for his backyard resumption of duty be said to have integrity?
On corruption, can a man shielding corrupt individuals under his administration be said to be incorruptible? Can a man that whopping 2.8billion makes disappeared under his watch as PTF boss be said to be upright? Can a man who does not respect court order be said to be upright?
