FortuneTeller: I think she left him alone because she did not want to have children from him or risk being a widow at an early age. However this is just my opinion. I don't think the new man is much different, but I guess it is ok since he has the potential to walk again. After talking with the gentleman I discovered he has some residual brain damage from his accident. That is one misconception I hate about people in wheelchairs. They don't always die early! Just because they are in a chair does not mean they are sick. I think your friend is kind of twisted. Having the potential to walk shouldn't make him any better than one who can't. Look at all of the able bodied fools in this world. The greatest disability the world faces is the inability for others to accept those who have disabilities. |
Mrs.Chima: |
Why did she leave him alone? Inquiring minds would like to know please.. |
Its 100% true for some people. |
Jealousy aside, it doesnt look good on either partner to hang out with a member of the opposite sex alone. If somebody saw my husband on a date with a girl - even something as simple as a coffee date - what would they think? Rumors would flare. Its a very bad idea. |
greatgod2012: Great tips, but, sincerely, how many parents actually do these?I do ![]() |
Truckpusher: From my own perspective i think you should let the relationship to flow naturally instead of using material gains as a yard stick to measure how committed you should be in this relationship. But also be very very ready if he dumps you once he's up there....Just talking from experience sha!!!Do you have a habit of dropping girls?!?! You + Hammer = Us You - Hammer = Alone ![]() |
Tolaaaaannni: And I pointed out to the fact that you can be fat and healthy, if you are metabolically fit. ![]() |
Tolaaaaannni: If we want to argue about weight, I can also point out that those conditions also apply to being too skinny or developing some sort of eating disorder (Aneroxia, bullimia e.t.c) The truth of the matter is, the only way to live a healthy lifestyle is by eating healthy and exercising regularly and being metabolically fit. Be it fat or skinny or anything in between if you don't practice a healthy lifestyle you are prone to many diseases and condition. That doesn't only just apply to fat people alone.Yes, but the topic at hand is about the Fat side of the argument. |
Really?!?! Stay with the man. Go through that journey with him. |
Number 1 |
Tolaaaaannni: Yes, Hypertrophy is the enlargement of various areas of the body, and their are different types of hypertrophy. You have skin hypertrophy, muscle hypertrophy e.t.c so be specific.Cardio-ventricular hypertrophy. But being fat doesnt just affect your heart. It affects every system of your body. It affects your lungs and oxygen intake and can cause atelectasis. It affects the brain function, eye function, hearing. It affects your nervous system and can cause autonomic instability issues. Trust me, there is nothing good about being fat. |
Do you have active infections or have you just been "colonized" with staph? Being colonized does not mean that you need treatment. It simply means that you carry it on your skin (80% or more of people probably do). As long as there is no active infection then you are ok. Vancomycin is typically only given to treat MRSA, and even MRSA does not always need to be treated if it is just a colonization. |
Its impossible to be fat and healthy.. Being FAT does horrible things to your body. No matter what kind of diet you have and how much you exercise, if you are fat, then your body is still unhealthy. Ever heard of hypertrophy? |
Adufaye: u be oyinbo?Maybe? ![]() |

People on long term meds just get used to them. Its part of their daily routine, just like getting dressed or eating. |

Ur husband reserves right 2 be angry becos no man wants dirty words 2 spoken 2 his wife. Ur right as a wife is 2 disclose such 2 him every time it happen, thats honesty. He wil learn 2 take wit time. Dont let him start speculating, we knw such things happen. Do d right thing pls. What is the use of telling your man something if you KNOW he is going to get angry/upset about it. Shouldnt a lady want to keep her many happy and NOT cause stress for no reason? |
*Kails*:That's why I said someone who consistently makes poor choices. If I knew them enough to know they make poor choices consistently then I would be basing my judgement off of that. I don't just see somebody walking down the street and judge them for being fat without knowing them. |
Fat is a relative term. But, Ill be honest here, if I see a "fat" person - someone who is closer to "obese" than "chunky" - who is consistently making poor health choices (not exercising, not eating healthy, etc) then Ill think poorly of them. How do they expect me to think highly of them when they obviously dont think highly of themselves? - This does not include those who are 'fat' for sincere medical issues. |
jidegirl12: It's just fun for me and the kids!Ditto that part.. We dont associate any "celebrations" with it.. Its just a fun time to dress up and do "Fall" activities.. and get candy.. Growing up we never celebrated the meaning behind it either. - Its kind of like all the atheists who celebrate Christmas. Its just become commercialized. |
Happy Birthday! |
I grew up going door to door trick or treating. These days, I take my own kids to a select few houses, but end up going to our Church Trunk or Treat. |

engrtee: plz tel me u 4gven me naOnly for now. |
Mynd_44: This post only reek of one thing. Ignorance WTF? Have you even been to Nigeria or had any contact with Nigeria?Ignorant? Far from it. I think you should know whats involved in keeping these children alive and then maintaining them. I have had 3 severely premature children each requiring extensive medical intervention and I know the costs and technology these children require to live. I have an entire ICU setup in my house. Do you know how expensive a NICU stay can be let alone medical care costs after?! How many children on ventilators have you seen in Nigeria? How many outside of hospitals? How many children have you seen on oxygen outside hospitals? |
I'm staying out of this one, but it's nice to discuss it with anonymous people.
