The Kogi State Government, on Thursday, clarified the excavation of some roads in Kogi Central, saying it is a deliberate security measure to cut off traffic on those roads with a view to restricting the use of the roads by criminals who had been breaching the peace of the area with attendant loss of lives and property.

I am never ceased to be amazed by the idiocy and half-a$$ measures being adopted by the government in trying to solve a simple task. Am I missing something here? How can a government resort to destroying a limited number of the roads available, which are already dilapidated, as a means to solve insecurity? It seems like the government derives pleasure in making the lives of its citizens more difficult and unbearable.

The news itself is FAKE and I would like to see where it's reported by a Finnish newspaper that the party, NCP is to suspend Simon Ekpa as is being reported and circulated by gutless and cowardly Nigerians. WOW! Are Nigerians really that dumb? Simon Ekpa was NEVER arrested. There's a difference between an invitation to an interview by authorities when a complaint is filed against a person and an arrest when someone had committed a criminal act. But I guess Nigerians and their media houses are so M0R0NIC that they could NOT differentiate the two. In the western world where true democracy reigns when someone files a complaint with the police or any authority, the police after reading the complaint and doing a preliminary investigation would invite the individual against who the complaint was made. This is simply to hear his or her own side of the story. After that, the person is let go if they believe that there's nothing to the complaint. Let me remind you idiots that are gloating and wasting your breath for nothing that Finland is NOT your useless and hopeless God-forsaken country, Nigeria.
