On Friday night, Big Brother Naija housemate Mercy dropped a major bombshell about her love life while discussion with her fellow housemate, Elozonam.

During the discussion, she revealed that she was dating former Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike before he got married to ex-beauty Queen Iheoma Nnadi.

According to her, the footballer, who she claimed loved her later left her because she was a "nobody" at that time which was understandable.

Nigeria’s Cadet Officer, Sunday Linus Ogbole, has won the King Hussain Award by The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

He was given the award for being the most improved International Cadet of the Intake on the Regular Commissioning Course. This was revealed by the UK High Commission in Nigeria on its verified Twitter handle.

The tweets read, “Hats Off to Officer Cadet Sunday Linus Ogbole on winning the King Hussain Award by The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for the most improved International Cadet of the Intake on the Regular Commissioning Course.

Officer Cadet Ogbole has shown determination and zest. His work ethic and dedication has endeared him to his platoon. He is extremely grateful for the opportunity and is conscious of the role he must play when he returns to #Nigeria and passing on his knowledge.”

Former BBN housemate, Uti Uwachukwu, has given reason Nigerians should vote for BBNaija housemate, Mike.

Four housemates: Khafi, Tacha, Mike and Seyi have been nominated for possible eviction this week.

Omashola, who was nominated but had the veto power card, replaced himself with Seyi.

At least one of the aforementioned housemates will be evicted on Sunday during live BBNaija eviction show.

Uti, speaking on nominated housemates for eviction, urged Nigerians to vote for Mike in order to promote hope and progress.

According to him, housemate like Mike needs to stay back in the reality show to serve as role models to influence and inspire Nigerian youths.

On his Twitter page, Uti wrote: “At times like these when manners and integrity are endangered amongst our youth. We need great role models for Nigeria.

“Positive role models with substance that will influence and inspire our youth.

“Someone that promotes hope and progress mixed with success. Vote Mike.”

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission #EFCC, Maiduguri zonal office, on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 arraigned the duo of Mohammed Danladi and Adam Abdulhamid alongside Danladi Global Concept Nigeria Limited, a company belonging to the first defendant, before Justice Umaru Fadawu of the Borno State High Court, Maiduguri on a-four count amended charge, bordering on obtaining by false pretence and issuance of dude cheque to the tune of N13m. .

Troubles started for the defendants when the EFCC received a petition one Umar Lawan and Sheriff Enterprises. The complainant alleged that the defendants collected over N12million from them towards the execution of a contract offered to them by an Non-governmental Organisation at Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State and failed to return the money. .

Investigations revealed that the first defendant and his company approached the complainant and demanded for 170 bundles of Tarpaulin at the rate of N62, 000 each totalling N10, 540,000.00, for execution of the said contract. An additional N2.5m was collected from the complainant by Danladi Global Concept Nigeria.

One of the counts reads: “That you, MOHAMMED DANLADI, ADAM ABDULHAMID whilst being Managing Director and Manager respectively of DANLADI GLOBAL CONCEPT NIGERIA LTD, a company registered in Nigeria sometime in June, 2018 at Maiduguri, Borno State within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court with intent to defraud obtained the sum of N12, 000,000.00 (Twelve Thousand Naira only) from LIMAN AMSANI ALKALI and LAWAN SHERIFF under the false pretence that the monies are meant for the execution of purported contract at Mafa Local Government Area awarded to DANLADI GLOBAL CONCEPT NIGERIA LTD by ACTED, a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), which you knew to be false and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1(1) (b) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and Punishable under Section 1(3) of the same Act".
