Politics › Re: Election 2023: Breakdown Of Party Agents Submitted To INEC By Political Parties by unclejb2(m): 5:41pm On Feb 20, 2023 |
Afonja2: On January 23, 2023, INEC announced that 18 registered political parties in Nigeria have submitted a total of 1,575,689 polling agents (PAs) to represent them at the 176,846 polling units across the country.
Please see here https://dailytrust.com/political-parties-submit-1-5m-agents-for-176846-polling-units/
According to law, each political party is expected to present a party agent in each of the 176,846 polling units in the country, especially for the presidential election, which comes up on Saturday 25 February, 2023.
A further breakdown has been released which revealed the number of party agents submitted by each of the political parties. In the breakdown, only the ruling All Progressives Party (APC) and Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) have party agents in each of the polling units across the country. Others could not meet this, due to reasons that are not readily made available.
See below the breakdown of party agents submitted to INEC by political parties in the country.
1. APC- 176,974 Agents (100%) 2. LP- 41,234 Agents (23.30%) 3. NNPP - 23,460 Agents (13.25%) 4. PDP- 176,974 Agents (100%) 5. Other 14 Political Parties - 1,081,358
The big question is: if a political party could not present party agents in all the polling units in the country, how will their interests be protected on the election day? sourceless propaganda....that's how desperate Tinubu and his lackeys have become... Saturday is around the corner. Nigerians would definitely respond. Peter Obi is the next president of Nigeria |

Emekaonline: To all Yoruba youths and misguided adults…. As we head to the polls in few weeks’ time
You all can see what happens to all Yoruba celebrities and popular figures that expressed their own opinions as to who they would support for this month election. When PSquare and many Igbos celebrities were busy supporting Obi, did you see any Yoruba man or woman writing petition against them or calling them different abusives names? I have told you severally that they will never love you no matter what you do. As they hate your great politicans like Awolowo that made lives easy for your parents, the same they will hate you with passions
As another opportunity just beckons on us to pick another leader this week that will steer the affairs of our nation for the next 4 years, it is important to tell you some history if you are not aware or have been fooled. Please do not be an INDOMIE generation
Chief Obafemi Awolowo was one of the best finest politicians of his time. In 1979, every region in Nigeria knew that he was the best man for the job of presidency but only Yorubas and Mid-West regions and some pockets of districts in the North trusted and voted for him. We begged our Eastern Igbo brothers and sisters to reason with us to vote the man Ojukwu would later call the best President Nigeria never had but they never listened to us. They exercised their rights and decided to vote for Shagari instead. That is why we are where we are today.
In 1999, Yorubas presented again to our eastern neighbours a cerebral Olu Falae who was a better economic manager than OBJ to place Nigeria on the right path. But because Olu Falae’s choice was the preferred candidate of the Yorubas, they voted for a Yoruba enemy instead who is OBJ. Igbos have always been against the interests of Yorubas no matter how good they are. Dont be fooled, they hate you
They will never support your good people even if they will support you at all despite living in your midst. To those of you whose parents have benefited immensely from Chief Awolowo, it will be a shame and disgrace to Chief Awolowo’s memories to vote for those whose people made Awolowo ascension to presidency impossible because of hatred and jealousy. No one is good in the eyes of Igbos except their people. Awolowo was even attacked and stoned in Aba by the children of Belial. Do not romance the enemies of your parents’ benefactors through whom your parents were educated freely with good health
Awolowo and Olu Falae were not good for them then, why should their own be good for you now? They always think they are wiser and better than Yorubas and so only the person they choose must be the best. That is why they are so bitter till today that Yorubas did not vote for Jonathan in 2015 despite voting for him in 2011.
Remember how your haters on the order of their terrorist leader Kanu burnt down Lagos during ENDSARs. They Burnt TVC office, Burnt Oriental Hotel, burnt BRT, burnt Oba of Lagos Palace trying to stop Jagaban on orders of Nnamdi Kanu... Yet Jagaban keeps shining. Some fake but not genuinely recognised by God Christian leaders never uttered a word when Kanu warned his people not to go to any Church led by Yorubas and yet still choose to be gullible. I have never seen how the so-called spiritual leaders will be so gullible
Only bast@rds will vote those who refused to vote for your own best when they had the opportunity because of hatred. The spirit and good deed of Awolowo will fight anyone that rewards his haters with votes in 2023. You may not be a direct beneficiary of the best politician Yorubas have ever produced but your parents might have. History will never forget or forgive you if you choose to romance the enemy of your benefactor by voting for them just because of ignorance and gullibility as whatsoever you sow today, you or your future generations will reap it. Many years after you might have long gone, your children will also spit on your graves and memories by romancing the enemies that made lives miserable and impossible for you.
Please be warned Tinubu is bad market. Even NAFDAC confiscates expired goods. That's how we are working very hard to confiscate and destroy Tinubu's ambition before he destroys the whole country |

Abiodunstephen: Church started in a normal ways, after Sunday school class the main service began. Praise and worship was so amazing, we dance and praise God in unusual way. Immediately after praise and worship, Offering and tithe follow and service was getting shape.
The next thing on the service was for the daddy G.O to come to the alter and lead some prayer but when Papa came he started with the topic of whom to vote and how he want the congregation to vote, I was like this is unusual of daddy G.O to be talking about the politics on the pulpit but daddy G.O keep saying vote for the man that has interest of Nigerian, do not vote any old man because is your tribes man. One church man now asked that please sir who should we vote? pastor was like I think Peter Obi should be the best. Immediately he pronounce that most member walked away from church with anger that pastor should stop that otherwise they will not attend the church again that they are for Tinubu and nobody can change their mind on that. shut up you Yoruba Moslem. |

It’s like another tribe dragging Adamawa with Atiku(our incoming president), it can’t ever happen. Even if Tinubu is not winning, at least he should deliver Lagos in block votes. unfortunately, even if Tinubu wins Lagos, it's going to be with a very negligible margin. Sweetberry123: What this APC fanatic has done is give APC at least 25 percent in all NE states and conveniently PDP 25 percent in only 4 or so states. So even with the current dissatisfaction and disillusionment towards the APC, you think APC will get 70-80 percent in some NE states? APC will even win up to 35 per cent of NE votes. Tinubu is on the ballot in case you don't know. Only the Northern elites want Tinubu and thankfully they are not in the majority. Atiku is winning both NE and NW hands down. Tinubu can not even get 80 percent in Osun, yet you want him to get it in Yobe/Gombe? This one is blinded by sentiments. Tinubu would be buried politically in the NW/NE come Feb 25. Tinubu will fight, yes since he loves fighting but it will be his last battle, it will be his very own Waterloo. He will go down fighting. fight into retirement next month |

Ttalk: The currency swap policy which is intended to usher the country into a cashless economy will exacerbate corruption rather than curb it.
Many people that are arguing in favour of the policy regarding vote buying are myopic. The election comes once in 4 years when politicians bribe their way to power, but what about the daily bribery that this careless policy is going to promote?
During the subsidy probe, we saw how a legislator stuffed a dollar into his cap while there was a rumor of another one stuffing it in his babariga. Now with the cashless policy, institutions, and corporations would no longer need to carry Ghana-must-go bags to share money with politicians and government agencies, they would rather source for dollars and other foreign currency with higher value and save themselves loads of worthless naira.
The exchange rate would increase because people would now depend on foreign currencies to bribe, just as it is presently being done in some institutions, agencies, and corporate organizations in Nigeria, we are approaching an era where bribing is going to be dollarized.
May God help us. don't worry, after Obi wins, those he would appoint would not have a history of looting. He himself would not loot and he has promised to be in charge, unlike Buhari who is not in charge |

are you talking about "compulsion" or evolution? how long did it take for banks to "indirectly compelled" compared to the present situation of just 3 months?
explain what you mean by "indirectly compelled"? who did the indirect compulsion?
in this present situation, is it also indirect compulsion or direct compulsion?
when did "people like Tinubu assure them that the old notes would be valid until they win the election and are sworn in"? where you there when he assured them? you can keep crying for all we care, we don't need the old notes in circulation anymore. in this present situation, is it also indirect compulsion or direct compulsion? it's left for the banks to upgrade, if they don't and customers are not happy, they loose business. All the e channels you have been enjoying, were banks "forced" to provide them before they did?
Are there no better ways of getting banks to upgrade their IT infrastructure than using force? If the policy is a good one, why the use of force? yes, they were indirectly compelled to upgrade. If you fail to upgrade, you go out of business. That's exactly what is going to happen now. Their survival in business requires an upgrade, so they would upgrade. You can imagine that some individuals waited until the last day before going to deposit their money.... They were literally forced to go and deposit their cash.... |

lexy2014: Is it by creating naira scarcity that you stop kidnapping?
Many of the kidnappers especially those in the north are known to this govt and it's agencies? Why were they not arrested all this while? If the nigerian could go all the way to kidnap nnamdi kanu, how it can't arrest kidnappers in zamfara and katsina states? Who is deceiving who?
It's now banks you are blaming for the pains Nigerians are experiencing. How is their fault? How do you want banks to "step up their IT infrastructure' in 3 months?
If stepping up IT infrastructure was the goal, does it make sense to create cash confusion before asking banks to step up their IT infrastructure? That is like building a house from the roof instead of the foundation.
In terms of pains caused to Nigerians, why is the govt not supplying cash to the banks? Will that cause comfort to Nigerians? Where are the new bills? They say bring your old bills. Where are the new bills wee are supposed to get in return?
Who are the elite that have weaponisef poverty? Is buhari not part of them? Is his deliberate attempt at creating naira scarcity causing prosperity or poverty? the banks were aware of the challenges the cashless policy would be associated with, they had over 90 days to upgrade their IT infrastructure. Mediocrity is the reason why Nigeria is a pariah state. The MD of those banks and their board are supposed to have resigned their appointments. The banks can hoard and auction the new notes, but they can't have enough infrastructure to accommodate the surge. Mad people everywhere |
