kopell: These are the reason why I find it very very difficult to put my hard earned money into a finish constructed buildings in Nigeria, from land documentation issue to integrity of the structures many times are questionable, you won’t believe many of those nice looking estate don’t have proper land title documents until you find yourself in its when you start asking questions on the owners of the company fronting for the estate. Some Buildings by some developers are something else in this part of the world. Why can't we just be honest? |

twinskenny: lol they plenty for oworo and makoko area… and people are even comfortable living in them… Hmmm. People want to die comfortably then. Some soils ain't meant for high rise buildings if the structural conditions cannot be met. Some foundations for some soils may need to go as deep as 2m or more or less. |

walexProjects: It's not an Earthquake ooooh.i work close to that area and if it's an earthquake,Everyone in the office will feel the impact. The structural engineer is in big Trouble..... For a multi storey building like this, you don't cut corner and always build to standard. its sad this is happening. Not about the structural engineer. The contractor is the main culprit here. |
