MaziOmenuko: More mysterious than this:
Matthew > 25.40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
I don't see any mystery in those verses I was exposed to. No wonder the bible said 'Study to show thyself approved'. Done what sir? Faith is a personal thing. Follow your own salvation with fear and trembling. Let the spirit lead... |

There is the school of theology for those seeking more confusion.

The act is commendable though, but he needn't have told the faithless about it.

The only reason I am sure of is the 'dearth' of 'leg' usually applied by so called 'godfathers' using their 'network' to take 'advantage'. Or better still your 'inability' to 'belong' to the 'inner caucus' where it is 'happening'. |

Jennydoris: Wonders shall never end! What was she thinking? Kidnapping herself just to extort money from her parents.
Well, I really don't know her reasons, but the parents shouldn't have disowned her because that may make her even the worst kidnapper on earth. They should accept her and take her to the rehabilitation centre . Maybe something is wrong with her upstairs. . You never can tell what were her reasons for engaging in such act because for all I know something must have prompted the action.
Although, am not in support of what she did no matter the reasons behind the action. But seriously, that young woman over there needs help probably through prayers and rehab. Which yeye prayer she need? That is one hardened criminal in collusion with a partner in crime. Let her visit a maximum prison to learn maturity. Omo ajebutter jati jati... |

megacity: Nigeria is an English speaking country. All these people you mentioned are from countries whose primary language of communication is not English.........
As a president, you 'll be dealing with advanced issues in economics - money supply, inflation rates, exchange rates, foreign reserves, etc. You need to understand how these variables inter-play. An illiterate or semi-literate will not get the job done for you And so I repeat... WHAT HAS DICTION GOT TO DO WITH HIS ABILITY TO HANDLE NATIONAL ISSUES? |
Politics › Re: Corruption Vs. Kwa-rap-shon by Unionised(m): 12:32am On Jan 22, 2015 |
Ikengawo: there are rules to the english language, C, O, R, P, T, I, and N all have specific sounds they make and if you don't make the right sound you don't say the right word
Kwarrapsha is not Corruption. You can apply to coach him since you know so much. |

megacity: See, if you want to speak English, you need to speak English. This manner of pronunciation may be pardonable for a semi-literate local artisan or farmer but certainly not for a man that wants to be president of a country with highly educated people like you and I And what has education got to do with diction? Do you cringe when listening to Ban Ki Moon? How about that upstart N Korean leader? The Saudi Princes? What of Shinzu Abe? Do they sound like the Queen of England? Yet you appreciate these people, no? So why's your own countryman different? Double standards... |

sholay2011: I am discussing 'high school movies' as a genre on this thread. And yes, I have seen of the actors you listed above, from 'Election' to 'Mean girls'.
'Spectacular Now' blew me away. I normally don't watch high school movies again but this one is different. No wonder, it won prizes at Sundance film festival where it premiered. It's refreshing. A deviation from the usual high school story line. Precisely why it's receiving 'some' attention. But spectacular? Think not. |
Politics › Re: Corruption Vs. Kwa-rap-shon by Unionised(m): 12:13am On Jan 22, 2015 |
Ikengawo: the rules of the english language. Which yeye rule be that? Rid yourself of that complex. The almighty US of A has so many dialects you can actually identify anyone's state of origin by their diction. Obama's diction sounds funny to many of his electorate sir. Expand your mind beyond petty issues. |
