grin·go

/ˈɡriNGɡō/

noun

DEROGATORY•HUMOROUS

(in Spanish-speaking countries and contexts, chiefly in the Americas) a person , especially an American, who is not Hispanic or Latino.

At the bolded, my reference being on person. According to Developmentalists/ developmental psychologists, a person is a human being whose period of development could be one of the following; Adults, Adolescents & Children, so gringo encompasses all. Therefore, taking the end scene in that movie were the Marines were chased as a reference point, the specific term to use to describe those chasing them is Adolescents.

Hope the above helps.

Teenagers who are Gringos, right?

Lol..Gringo is kinda a collective name, you should have just been specific & call them what they truly are, teenagers.

And how is TEENAGER more specific than GRINGO?

I’m a big fan of horror movies because they are creepy, mysterious and thoughtful.
Top 3 from me, all of them released in 2018!

1. The Meg (2018)
After escaping an attack by what he claims was a 70-foot shark, Jonas Taylor must confront his fears to save those trapped in a sunken submersible.
It is a good movie and the end is awesome. Worth the watch!

2. A Quiet Place (2018)
A family is forced to live in silence while hiding from creatures that hunt by sound.
Totally enjoyed this one and I pray they make a sequel!

And one of the best in 2018 is: wink

3. Halloween (2018)
Laurie Strode confronts her long-time foe Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago. more https://www2.two-movies.name/watch_movie/Halloween_2018
Shlash. Run. Scream. Loved it. Jamie Lee Curtis is a complte badass!

******

The meg is horror? shocked

Thats how some people call Hereditary horror.

Na wa ooo.

Even if oyinbo call them horror, are you scared?

The unexplainable is supposed to be horror.

I just finished my NYSC this October, I graduated with a 2.1 and I'm also a chartered Accountant. I'm quite young as I'm just 21. I have been applying to different openings since my service year ended. However, I've reached the last stage with only just the bank with 'Stallion logo. I'm optimistic that I'll be called for Medicals. The big Four have largely not started recruitment.
The main thing is that I'm concerned about the work-life balance. I've a side hustle on the internet that makes me money upwards of 100k a month, but I need like 2-3 hrs a day on it. Also, my motivation to work is to build up my networking, communication and interpersonal skills as I'm quite lacking in those areas.

Simple solution.

Choose a back office department where you can work at your own pace.
Examples are INTERNAL CONTROL, REVENUE ASSURANCE, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS, etc

The idea is to avoid working at the BRANCHES serving customers directly.

All the best.
Politics / Re: Under-recovery: Fuel Subsidy Drops To N20 Per Litre — NNPC by Unionised(m): 10:16pm On Dec 24, 2018
ignant:
Until two weeks ago, these animals adamantly maintained that they are not paying fuel subsidy, rather "under recovery", which they claimed is not subsidy.

Until two weeks ago, Osibanjo in his typical criminal falsehood had always maintained since 2016 that Nigeria had stopped fuel subsidy and that billions had been saved.

This government is paying 200%-250% fuel subsidy for a product that costs 30% less.

The disturbing problem with this criminality is that since 2016, fuel subsidy payments have been done without appraisal, audit and approval by the national assembly via appropriation.

What this simply means is that this government has been spending hundreds of billions on fuel subsidy without statutory approval by the national assembly.

The implication of this criminality would have been alarming to any other nation, but no, Nigeria is just a shameful product of British criminality.

Make una dey try understand issues small before venting.

When govt says no more fuel subsidy, they simply mean this:

NNPC IS IMPORTING PMS THEMSELVES, NO LONGER PAYING THE DIFFERENCE TO THOSE THIEVING PRIVATEERS WHO BRING FAKE INVOICE TO REAP WHERE THEY HAVE NOT SOWN.

Shey you understand now?

Oya, go back to your closet to look for other reasons to berate your govt.

Such a disjointed display

Its quite appalling, the level of play of our team.

Win win, no style, no strategy.

When are we going to be world class?

And who is that 30 year old midfielder? In male football, that is an equivalent of a geriatric.

For petes sake, this is female football, inject young blood!!!
