The president and founder of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide,  Apostle Johnson Suleman has volunteered to buy 20 returning tickets for Nigerians who want to return back to the country from South Africa following the xenophobic attacks that occurred early this month and he promised to buy more return tickets as God provides.

Mosque Demolition: Wike Congratulated Buhari Over Tribunal Victory Because Of Fear

Governor  Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, elected on the platform of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on the validation of his election by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

In a statement Wednesday, Wike urged Buhari to use his victory to work for all Nigerians, irrespective of their political leanings.

Wike called on the President to work towards the unity of the country, noting that the country is divided.

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal had on Wednesday dismissed the petition filed by Atiku Abubakar and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), challenging the victory of President Buhari, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the February 23 presidential poll.

The sudden congratulatory message attracted mixed feelings amongst members of the party. The opposition party rejected the verdict of the tribunal in all entirety and they are heading to the Supreme Court. Wike congratulating Buhari when the Supreme Court is yet to deliver judgement on the case is not in the right direction for the opposition party. What if Buhari loses at the Supreme Court.

It is obvious that Gov Wike is afraid of what the tyrant would do to him. The North are hatching an evil plot against him over the alleged demolition of a mosque in Port Harcourt. The Sultan of Sokoto had already stated his position and he vowed that the Governor will be dealt with, his statement also corroborates with that of Alhaji Ganduje of Kano State.

The N2.8 billion RUGA money came from the sky i guess

It is no longer news that 640 Nigerians would be evacuated from South Africa this week following the xenophobic attacks that rocked the former apartheid nation in the beginning of September. The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission Abike Dabiri-Erewa stated this on Monday when she appeared before the Senate Committee on Diaspora. She said that two airplanes would convey the 640 Nigerians in a couple of days.


From my investigation, being someone who has lived in South Africa before, who understands the terrain, those who have decided to return voluntarily are those who have suffered major attacks at the hands of South Africans. It would surprise you that about 75 percent of the returnees lost everything they had during the xenophobic attacks.

Helping them return to Nigeria is not the issue, the crux of the matter is what plan does the government have for them. In a sane country, citizens who suffered major attacks in another country are often integrated back to their home country by the government. The government gives them money for business, enroll them at skills acquisition centers or help them to learn a trade, those who are still young get a scholarship to study at the University.

The case of Nigeria is pathetic, once a returnee arrives Muritala Mohammed International Airport, he or she is seen as an ex-convict or a rebel. The little money the person is having, the immigration officers will collect it after threatening to send the person to Panti or Alagbon. The case of Libya returnees is an example.

I hereby appeal to the Federal Government of Nigeria to support each of the 640 returnees with $5,000 each. This will help them start life all over again because many of them lost all they have made to the xenophobic attacks. We have the money, if the Federal Government could budget N2.8billion for RUGA which favours only the Fulani extraction, why can't they support our brothers and sisters who are in need of assistance.

Nigerians in Diaspora are a major contributor to the economy of Nigeria. Last year Remittances from the Nigerian Diaspora broke a new record in 2018, rising to $25 billion from $22 billion in 2017, according to the PricewaterhouseCoopers audit firm's report on the country.

Xenophobic attack on Nigerians in South Africa resumed on sunday night and videos been circulated on social media shows that South Africans are mean this time and they really want Nigerians and other Africans out of their country.



The president of Nigeria Union South Africa, an association of Nigerian residents in the country said in a statement Monday that many foreign-owned businesses were destroyed by South Africans in escalating xenophobic rages.

“Nigerian-owned businesses were seriously affected,” Olubajo said. “A car sales business owned by a Nigerian were among the several businesses set ablaze over the night.”



Apart from the attacks on Nigerian businesses, many Nigerians have been killed in the country. Reports say about 118 Nigerians have been killed in the country in recent years. Some were said to have been killed by the country’s policemen.

Nigerian government is not doing anything pragmatic to stop the incessant killings of Nigerians in South Africa. I don't know if they are afraid to take a bold step and demonstrate our position as the giant of Africa. I would suggest the immediate repatriation of South Africa ambassador to his country until South Africa sign an agreement with Nigeria that her citizens will not be attacked again.

The second edition of Anambra State Association (A.S.A) Europe Convention 2019 took place in Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark. Anambra Europe Convention is an annual event where all the Anambra indigenes in Europe come together to thank God and to champion a course aimed at alleviating poverty and hardship back home. The maiden edition was in Finland and the host for next year's convention is between Spain and the UK.



Anambra State Association Europe is the Umbrella organization that represents the Apex National Anambra State Associations in the various countries of Europe. For now ASA member countries cuts accross Turkey, Ireland, UK, France, Spain, Netherlands, Finland, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Sweden. It is a cliche to say that judgement belongs to the sovereign God and it is still true. Touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm is still sacrosanct, no amount of criticism or backstabbing can change it. The hate, vilification and attacks against servants of God these days is worrisome. No doubt, attackers of men of God on social media is growing everyday. It has metamorphosed into a rebellious army from the coterie of people whose view is different from the conventional view. Nigeria being the fulcrum of all religious activities in Africa, has three ardent haters and attackers of pastors in Nigeria and Africa at large.

They are; Dr Sunday Adelaja, the Ukraine based Nigerian pastor who recently got his passport back after many years it was seized by the Ukrainian government over an alleged extra marital affairs with some ladies in the church and fraud. Daddy Freeze an OAP personality comes second in the list. Daddy Freeze always reacts to issues bordering the church and pastors. He constantly mocks pastors and he has rained abuses on many of them including A-list of Nigeria's General Overseers.

Next is Charles Awuzie, a South Africa based Nigerian who claims to be a perfect preacher cum reformer who has the monopoly of the knowledge of God's word. Charles Awuzie wants to become popular by all means by attacking and speaking ill of men of God in Nigeria. Awuzie who left Abuja years back went to South Africa to seek for a greener pasture before establishing a church that didn't grow nor make impact. Charles Awuzie is a protege of Dr Sunday Adelaja, they run things together to delight their followers on social media.

It is the height of stupidity and foolishness for Charles Awuzie to insult Bishop David Oyedepo just because he doesn't agree with his statement on tithing. Bishop Oyedepo had in one of his messages which is being circulated online told his church members that the reason Job suffered losses was because he was not a tither. He said to the church that there was no single place where Job was recorded to have paid tithe. While noting that Job gave to the poor, he said because he did not tithe he did not enjoy God’s protection.

Insulting a man who is old enough to be his father exposes the fake life of Charles Awuzie who prides himself as the perfect preacher, a reformer. He speaks against spiritual gifts because he is not gifted. Awuzie is a nobody, he is only forcing himself to be known on social media platforms that's why he is attacking his fellow pastors to get likes on his Facebook page. What has he achieved all the years he has been living in South Africa?

The truth is that Charles Awuzie is only envious of these men he attacks. Recently he attacked Apostle Johnson Suleman where he said the news of his private jet is fake. It's a publicity stunt he stated. He has said a lot of dirty things about men of God which are not true. Taking the position of a supreme judge which the bible negates is what Charles is doing. I pray he retrace his steps.

The Nigerian Community in Finland has lost one of their compatriots in the early hours of Monday the 19th August 2019. Mr Osaretin is from Edo State, until his death he is the chairman of the planning committee of the Edo State Union in Finland.



According to reports made known to us, he died in his sleep. The wife who was lying on the same bed with him noticed the way he was snoring and she tried to make him sleep well only for her to notice that the husband is not responding, he was lifeless.  She had to raise alarm and call her neighbours who helped her to call ambulance but unfortunately he couldn't make it.

Until his death, late Osaretin is survived with a wife and two children

POLICE in the Omusati region have arrested a 38-year-old woman on Monday for allegedly killing her newborn baby boy by burying him alive.

According to The Namibian, the warrant officer Anna Kunga of the police’s public relations unit in the region yesterday confirmed the arrest, saying the suspect is yet to appear in court.


The incident occurred at around 01h00 on Saturday at the Ongongolwa village in the Omusati region’s Tsandi constituency.

“It is alleged that the suspect, who was a domestic worker, gave birth to a baby boy, and tightly wrapped the baby in a plastic bag, and then buried the baby next to the fence of the yard,” said Kunga.

She added that the body was dug up by dogs, and was discovered on Monday at around 07h00.


Police investigations into the matter continue, and the identity of the suspect has been withheld pending her court appearance, which was scheduled for yesterday.

Police said Tuesday that the drive-by shooting of a 26-year-old man from Eritrea in a small west German town was "very clearly" motivated by xenophobia.

The East African victim was left seriously wounded after being shot in Wächtersbach, near Frankfurt in the state of Hesse, after being fired at from a vehicle on Monday afternoon.

The victim is said to be in a stable condition after emergency surgery on his stomach.

"He became a victim because of his skin colour," public prosecutor Alexander Badle said at a press conference.

The shooting "had a very clear xenophobic motive," he said, adding however, that "there is no reliable evidence that contact existed... with far-right extremist" groups.

While searching for the perpetrator, police said they later found a 55-year-old German man "apparently lifeless" in a vehicle in a neighbouring town. He was later confirmed dead in hospital.


Investigators believe the suspect, who had no previous convictions, killed himself.

"According to current information, it is likely that this person is the suspected shooter," police said, adding that his death was not caused by their officers.

Police found five weapons, all legally registered, during a search of the home and car of the suspect, who had recently also sold a sixth gun.

"Why he legally had such an arsenal of weapons, I cannot give any information about", said Badle.

A letter was also found, but the prosecutor gave no details.

Women who refuse their husbands sex could be charged for emotional abuse and when found guilty, jailed to a maximum of two years imprisonment or to a fine of 500 penalty units which is equivalent to GH¢6,000 or both.

Central Regional Coordinator of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU), Mr George Appiah-Sakyi who made this known has therefore called on husbands to report their wives to the police for the law to deal with them.

According to him, the law is also applicable to men who may deny their wives sex encouraging such emotionally abused women to also lodge complaints with the police.

At a sensitization workshop for leaders of churches in the Cape Coast Metropolis on terrorism and other security issues, the police chief stated emphatically these violations are grounded in law and amount to emotional abuse punishable under the Domestic Violence Act 732 of 2007.

Sincerely I can't imagine seeing Ruth Evon Idahosa, one of the daughters of the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, the founder of Church of God Mission International Incorporated and the patriarch of Pentecostalism in Nigeria taking side in an alleged rape allegation that's yet to be proven at the court of law.

It's crystal clear that Ruth Idahosa has thrown her weight behind Bisola Dakolo. She believed her rape narrative that's yet to be substantiated with facts and evidence and she has joined hands with the members of the court of public opinion to charge, try and convict the pastor.

This is what she posted on her Facebook page

"No level of intimidation, bribery, corruption or abuse of the pulpit will stop the movement or silent the voices that are crying out for justice. Gone are the days, she rounded up"

From what she posted, she is alleging that Pastor Biodun bribed the police. Being an English Barrister and U.S. Attorney, she should know better that it's unethical to judge someone without fair hearing by a court of law. We must not be emotional, but factual and discrete in dealing with sensitive issues like this.

As an activist and crusader of justice, I expected Ruth to be on the side of justice not gender affiliation and personal vendetta. Justice demands that both party must present facts at the court of law after due investigations by the police. Bringing Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo to social media court for trial is unexpected from the daughter of a man who fought for the liberation of the church from the shackles of wickedness. The late Archbishop Idahosa won't be happy seeing her daughter join forces to attack the church. One of the evergreen quotes of the late Papa Idahosa of blessed memory is " Christians are one of those who kill their wounded soldiers, in as much as we fight evil, we must protect our own" but sadly, Ruth is killing a wounded soldier.

Amongst all the children of the late Archbishop, Ruth is the only one who is different. She's a feminist and that's what wrecked her relationship. "She's not spiritual like others." I kindly advise Ruth to back off from this inglorious path. If only she could read the handwriting on the wall, she would know that there's a lot going on behind the scene.

For those who don't know, I grew up under the tutelage of the late Archbishop. My parents were among the 5 persons that started Church of God Mission Uselu District Headquarters in 1981, I was still a small boy then. As a young boy, I never for once missed the annual Children's Program (C.E.M) at the Miracle Center because of Papa Idahosa's prayers before I joined the Agape Force.
