Politics › Re: How Much Revenue From Cattle Herding by UnknownT: 4:15pm On May 03, 2015 |
jascon1: the question the OP asked was ended with a conclusive statement to ban herdsmen which is somehow black magical. Billions of naira are pumped into academic sponsorships, into infrastructural developments for urban dwellers, into pensions n social benefits, into compensation of minor incidents that could have been prevented. The little these nomads benefit from the land of their ancestors u want to deny them if it. They get no loans, no dwellings, no communities allocated n well maintained by the govt. The few they get for compensation for the benefits they lack as humans, u with all to make it successfully in the world of the elites chose to propose denial of the mediocre benefits that help support nomads. U r devilish to the bone. Without those men u would hardly get meat at ur table. Count that as a revenue. Those nomads are the reasons u can feed to a bellyful of satisfaction. Have u ever been to a tax office? Have u ever paid ur tax all ur life? Hmmmm! So Chicken, Fish, Goat, Pork meat don finish for market or pesin no fit bellyful except say na beef? Fear God oh |

pnieeventures: Pls I will like to know more about the ayakeremo pple of bayelsa because am a yoruba in a relationship with one of there men and he has proposed.i will like to know the good, bad and ugly before I venture into the everlasting business of marriage Served in Delta and one of the teachers who was my neighbor then is married to an Ayakeremo/Burutu man (yea, u will always hear them say I am Igbo/Ijaw, Ijaw/Urhobo, Ijaw/Isoko etc). Like your typical Ijaw man, the man has like 4 wives( and each of the wives live separately) so some days he would come around to stay and sleep with the teacher(his wife). So that is what I know about an Ayakeremo man, hope it helps |
Culture › Re: Meet The Ofoni People Of Bayelsa, The Only Urhobo Tribe In Bayelsa by UnknownT: 1:29pm On May 02, 2015 |
literarymathy: Yes but they should have been acculturated by now. The fact that their culture and language survived Ijaw domination is what I find surprising Since the town is almost surrounded by waters meaning they may not necessary have a 'near' neighbor also one of the towns closet to them Odorubu(which is in Patani) is also an Urhobo town, so I believe it will be hard for the acculturation |
Culture › Re: Meet The Ofoni People Of Bayelsa, The Only Urhobo Tribe In Bayelsa by UnknownT: 1:12pm On May 02, 2015 |
Since Sagbama is bounded by Patani(which is predominately an Ijaw LGA but have a handful of Urhobo people esp in Odorubu and Udolphri), so I am not surprised that there are Urhobo people in Sagbama too |

most times, the road blocks help. I remember around 2010 when the IGP then banned road block, that Aba PH expressway was overtaken by Osisikankwu, his kidnappers and robbers especially around Ngwaiyiekwe. To the extent that one had to go through OwErri if he wants to go to Aba from PH |

cyril83: SW never brought back the ibos, we only defended our territories from being snatched by greedy ikemba which later led to his defeat.
If not for his advancement towards the SW, obafemi awolowo and other yoruba leaders would love to part ways with greedy folks from the east. Yes, Nigerian Army during the war was made up only by soldiers of Northern extraction? Tell me more |

Politics › Re: Enugu APC Chiefs Fight Over Ministerial Slot by UnknownT: 6:12pm On May 01, 2015 |
cyril83: Very greedy set of people. These mor0ns failed woefully in delivering their state for buhari. Enugu state was one of the states Apc scored very low.
Ibos and greed is like garri and water, it runs in their vein. You hardly see any ibos with no greed in him/her.
SW will forever curse lord lugard for bringing us together. your last line should be SW and North should be cursed for bringing the Igbos back to the union. Anuofia |

basilo101: My friend stop talking nonsense. Both Chime and Nebo are from Udi and they evn in d same party Engr. Basil, emee aga ? If Okey Ezea solely believed in equity and spirit of turn by turn, why did he contest against the other zones steadily. If an Nsukka man finally represents Enugu state as a minister good and fine, afterall, he is clamouring for Nsukka man as a minister for his own good cos he may be compensated with that for losing to gburugburu. |
Politics › Re: Enugu APC Chiefs Fight Over Ministerial Slot by UnknownT: 5:34pm On May 01, 2015 |
But Okey, an nsukka man is now the governor elect so allow others produce minister, all the years you contested against Udi and Nkanu candidates for governorship, you never considered equity, now you remember the word equity. You should take a seat Mr. Man and let the party appoint the 'best' man |
