timunstopable:
Dont be fooled This Electric is also for Ben Murray Bruce Stomach

He is just fronting with Kia Motors. He has vested interest in the project

He has forwarded this project for more than a year now bt no positive response from FG

Do pple know h much these cars will cost. Even in developed ones a lot of people cant afford it

Now he says it will be subsidised. So u remove subsidy from fuel and replace it with another subsidisy..Even if subsibiized it will be few in the uppee middle class that will be able to afford the payment (even if it is payed in instalments)

And by d way it wont erase use of fuel .It will take years to give each nigerian one (that is if it is possible).it will take trillions of dollars for those years as well

so doesn't even solve the problem of petrol scarcity, fuel subsisdy.

What this will do will create parrallel subsidy scheme and still encourage corruption and filled the banks account of Kia and Ben Murray Bruce

And only few nigerians will benefit

We need to prioritize our national needs

1.Power
2.Unemployment
3.Health
4.Housing

Not this sugar coated proposal that will benefit a few and money thirsty politicians
I am not talking about the electric car sef. I have followed his campaigns before PDP senatorial primaries till now. I watched the man of the year award, I heard his speech too, still the same campaign promises, the green thing, cutting down legislative budgets, reducing budget. The one I am interested that made me say the post you quoted is reducing budget. He may have that in mind but goes to the house and his colleagues refused to take a pay cut, is that not 'frustrating' the bill? So I know what I am talking about please

It's a pity. I detest all these Eze Ndigbo in foreign lands. You claim you are Eze in Lagos, you are under Oba of Lagos, come down to your villa, You are still under your village Igwe! Instead of all these Eze, why not stick to the various town unions or have a president of the Igbo communities in the various places they find themselves

You are writing like a Jonathanian who sees truth but chose to lie to himself. The 2 pictures are not in same stage as mine has spectator steps while his is smooth and angular. Next time you pass that area just drive inside like I did and question the workers like I did. We are all Imolites and information could come from anyone.
a situation where there are no worker to question nko? Well you have challenged me, the next time I go home I would try going down to the site. About me being a jonathanian, lol!!!
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by UnknownT: 6:35pm On May 03, 2015
Abagworo:
Judging from my pics one can deduce that the ground leveling has been completed and that is the most difficult aspect of a stadium. If Okorocha wanted the same level of the old stadium, it is just a matter of planting grass and roofing just a tiny part of the spectator area. That could be done in 2weeks. I believe he wants seats fitted and most of the spectator area covered as well as good lighting hence the delay.
no wahala, let's pray he finishes the project by December and upto Uyo International Stadium standard lipsrsealed . Millionaireman really needs a stadium in Orlu grin
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by UnknownT: 6:26pm On May 03, 2015
Abagworo:
His was taken last year while mine was taken in February. Work ceased there since elections but it has surpassed the stage posted by milionaireman.
well, looking at the pictures, one would see that they are all at the same level / stage of construction just the camera angle. You said work stopped cos of the elections, but I have never seen workers on site anytime I pass there way before the elections at least I have seen workers working on the road sometimes but not on the stadium.

that isn't Orlu Stadium. I don't know what the contractors are doing concerning the stadium.
Last month I passed where the incomplete stadium is located,it has been taken over by weeds and grasses.

Quite shameful!
relax madam, Abagworo has given us his words that the Orlu stadium will be commissioned in 6months time. grin grin . Hopefully, Okporo will play her December league in the stadium
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by UnknownT: 6:03pm On May 03, 2015
Abagworo:
Simply put. Swear with your family's life that the picture posted by millionaireman is the current state of the stadium. I swear with mine that it has gone way beyond that stage.
refer me to the page your own picture is located or you upload it again, but the stadium I saw the last time I used that road( April, 13th), millionaireman's picture may be taken some months back, but nothing has changed.

anthropologically, it is very beneficial that we still have these nomads. Nomadism Is an educational course that ppl pay thousands of naira to study. Without artifacts like these nomadians it would be difficult to preserve their cultures........
Most of us are of no benefit to our country. We are poor yet not creative, not inventive not useful.
Lol, we are all nomads but we don't go about killing the people that accommodate us when we go on job hunting in other states. Whatever will be done to make both the herders and the people they encroach and destroy their farmlands is welcome by me. Later Bro, see you on another thread
PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by UnknownT: 5:51pm On May 03, 2015
Abagworo:
I posted a more recent picture of the stadium earlier on this thread. Meanwhile this is a rural road that runs from Orlu to Akokwa and like you know it is being done with wide drainage on each side with solar powered streetlights.
I am from Orlu and I pass that road the stadium is sited each time I come home (which I do monthly), the last time I saw people in that stadium was last year when I saw a pickup and they were offloading reinforcement bars.

For that pic of akokwa road, I haven't been there so I can't say anything but you can't just lie about the one I am 100% sure and expect me to keep quiet, we criticise and praise Rochas for the good of Imo State. Ka Chineke medievals okwu

this is where we all go wrong as citizens. Lot is not only for urban development. We have the ministry of agriculture that sud care for grazelands. If u build shops n settlements everywhere u will be forced into the forests for food. It is the responsibility of the govt to secure grazelands. Ain't no way nomadic herdsmen can afford lots of that expanse to herd. And, note Nigeria is rich enough to incorporate modern farming practices in our farming systems, but corruption deluded them into oil wells only. Agriculture can truly expand our horizon as a nation. Developed countries get beef from Australia, from Lebanon and other countries that don't have half the grazelands that we have. It didn't come by magic, their govt get involved in that sector and they reap revenues from it. U cant expect a Nomad who inherited cattle from his father to pay u revenues. For what? U need to Chanel ur money right before seeking revenues. I wish Buhari could expand his cast to the nomads n u will be amazed how cheap food could get and how much the size of unemployment will reduce.
I don't mind them staying in a place to graze their cattle, but will the average fulani person accept to stay one place and give up nomadic life? This is 21st century

The reason I love Okorocha is that despite the attempts to tell all sorts of lies against him majority of us are seeing his works everywhere. That stadium is almost completed as against the nonsense old play ground banned by NFF. You will cry like other haters when it will be opened in December this year. Unlike Jonathan who has nothing to show, you feel Okorocha everywhere in Imo State.
Chai! Even the devil will marvel at this lie. A stadium that is as good as abandoned. Anaghi eji 3 months aru bridge Nigga Raw will sing but yours is a case of anaghi eji 6months arucha stadium.

thank u. then, this is where the government comes in. That's y I said there's no grazeland allocated to these guys. Blame the govt for ghost dispensation of resources and interest in the common man.
These days that land is a big business and most lands are now been developed except the ones for farming, I wonder where the grazing lands will come from unless the fulanis are ready to buy the grazing lands themselves, I haven't seen where government 'dashed' lands to other people to build shops or farm, why would their own be different. Well, we now have an ex herder as president, let's see how much his government will help.

nice one! Well, u must understand that poultry farmers also fall under the same category. Fishermen as well etc as they are all classified as farmers. As far as i know, there is no reliable empirical data as the previous quoter stated. Farmers in the country have no defined association as these are subsistent farmers who resort to farming as a way out. The government only supports the groups of farmers which do not comprise of the subsistent farmers being referred here. These guys go a long way to bring food to our table. U can't afford chicken if chicken were ur stable delicacy. Beef is the most consumed n sourced meat in the country. It is also the most affordable in all. I am saying that any step to make the lives of the herdsmen any miserable will result to starvation n unemployment. They deserve the support from the government that u and I also deserve
So the support from government is for them to be allowed to be maiming and causing havocs anywhere they 'herd' their cattle to? They graze on people's farmlands( these farmers are mostly subsistence farmers), destroy their crops and most times kill the farmers if they resist and you say they should be allowed to continue to avoid starvation and unemployment. So all the farmers that their crops are destroyed are the ones that are entitled to starve?
