The Lord bless you brother for opening our eyes of understanding and dispelling the false doctrines of Lucifer and his angels. No more will fear rule over me, for I am made perfect, holy and acceptable through my faith in Christ Jesus and not my works. This is Express entry to heaven, God has made it so simple and sweet, yet the devil wants to feed us with stupid false doctrines to keep us in perpetual fear that will eventually make u hate God for threatening to burn all sinners in everlasting hell fire!!
Amen brother! God's perfect love always cast out fear and doubts.

You're welcome sis. The main reason we often don't see things clearly when we read the scriptures is because we mostly read it without paying real attention to details.

God bless your willing heart. Nothing is as beautiful as a heart that is always willing to learn.

But what about Matthew 7 vs 21 that says 'not everyone who calls me Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven but only those who does the will of my father'
It's important to see how he specifically pointed out the "will of the Father"

This Matthew 7:21 has also been well explained here: https://www.feedmejesus.com/2019/03/lord-have-we-not-prophesied-in-your.html

So what about those our ancestors who died without hearing the gospel but were still good people in their time?
Those of them who did good stuff and did not sin against man?
What is to be their fate?

I'm sorry to say, but u r getting it wrong. U can't just go to heaven because u r a believer. Bible says judgment will start from the house of God, meaning many people who believed will not make it. Believing is not enough, but *working out* ur salvation Phil 2:12. In addition to believing in Christ, u have to keep to his commands. Those are the things that will be used to judge u as a christian
The verse you just quoted said work "out" your salvation, it didn't say work "for" your salvation. "Work out" and "work for" your salvation are not the same.

What that Phil.2:12 is saying in essence is "live out the salvation you have already received by faith". In other words "manifest it, show it to the world" in your character and speech. Don't just lift scriptures to argue sir, read them with unbiased mind, to learn.

Nowhere in this post did the author said it's OK to sin after you have received Jesus. If you arrived at that conclusion, you never read the post well. Read again sir!

Update: Here's a detailed explanation of that Phil.2:12 https://www.feedmejesus.com/2019/03/what-does-it-mean-to-work-out-your.html

So are you trying to say that people who believe in God and Jesus Christ but have done terrible things will go to heaven?

People who have cheated others of their rights
People who have killed
etc

Op I'm not understanding your post.
The Christian who continues in sin intentionally after he has heard and accepted the Gospel is a fool. He will never go unpunished as God does not condole sin. But his punishment is not like that of unbelievers and Satan (Hellfire), like most of us usually think.

The punishment of the Christian whose performance does not line up with his faith or confession, is that he will lose his eternal rewards in Heaven. He will lose the things God has prepared for those who lived uprightly in Heaven but his soul is still saved because he entered heaven by his faith in Jesus, not due to his good behaviours.

This is the point most of us usually miss it. We think Heaven is for the best behaved persons on earth. Whereas the scriptures teach that it is for those who exercised Faith in the Salvation that Christ offers. You will be so shocked to find those whom you must have looked down on and concluded that they are not "heavenly" there.

Those whom you hold in high esteem may never even make there. Why? Because most of them trust so much in their performance that they have unconsciously adopted that as their Saviour and no longer exercise faith in the sacrifice of Jesus.

Now again I say that the Christian who continues sinning after he is saved is a fool. He really deserves pity. But even more pitiable is the man who trusts in his "good works" for Salvation and not the Christ.

Why? Because the sinning Christian if he is truly saved in the first place, shall suffer loss of his eternal rewards in heaven and still be in Heaven. But the other fellow, "NOTHING for him"

To every Christian out there, you are the light of the world. Let it show in your character and actions towards others. Represent Christ everywhere you go, as though Jesus himself is watching you right now, because he really is.

To the unbeliever out there who believes that because of his good behaviours, God will consider him on the last day. Bro, you are living in fantasy. There's only one way to God, and that is FAITH IN THE SACRIFICE OF JESUS. Not your good works, alms giving, building and attending churches. Only faith in Christ saves.

Only faith in Jesus. Nothing else!

Xucxex1997:
The bible says after death comes judgment but the same bible says that when the messiah come the dead will rise from their graves and they all be judge

Pls explain this to me
The two verses you quoted are both saying the same thing sir. That Bible said "After death comes judgement" doesn't mean the judgment will happen immediately after one dies. Like if a man dies immediately he shall face instant judgement, and if found guilty he'll be thrown straight into hellfire. That's not what the Bible teaches.

The Bible teaches that a day is coming in which God shall judge the world. And by the world here, I mean everyone. Prior to that day, the dead are reserved somewhere. Because the judgement will happen once and for all. That's why no human being is presently in hellfire as we speak. No one will ever face that alone.

So after a man dies, he shall face God's judgement but it's not an automatic thing. There's a time or rather a day set for that, according to the scriptures. This very day, is known as the Judgement Day.

I hope this helps bro. Your question sounded sincere and that's why I had to respond as soon as I saw it.
Christianity EtcThe Truth About The Judgement Day You Should Know As A Christian by unstoppable51(op): 8:28am On Apr 19, 2020
Have you ever heard about the Judgement Day as a Christian? What did you hear about it?

There are very few messages I know that strike as much fear in the hearts of “Christians” as the message of the “Judgement Day”.

The reason is because some christians have been made to believe that the judgement day is a day that is full of uncertainties. That is, you can’t be sure of what to expect that day.

They have also been told that the judgement which will take place that day is based on our human performance. If you do enough good works, then God would probably have pity on you on that day and not cast you into hell. If you are not careful the way you go about your christian life, you would see the other side of Him.

Some have even been told that on that day, God will display all the sins you have ever committed on a big TV Screen for the whole world to watch. Imagine such foolishness. How can the same God that said in 2 Corinthians 5:19, Hebrews 8:12 and Hebrews 10:17, that He doesn’t record your sins and will never remember them against you, go back on His Word?

All these notions above, are just some of the un-biblical teachings people have been fed about the judgement day. As long as you hold strongly to such notions, the devil, the accuser of brethren, will keep using them to take away your joy and keep you in bondage to fear. Especially when you have not been at your best behaviour.

Everytime you hear that the Judgement Day is coming, your whole body will shiver. You will think of all the negative things you’ve done and not see any reason why you won’t end up in Hell. All because you believe it is a day your behavioural script will be marked and in your own eyes you scored 0/100.

What really is the judgement day and how is it going to look like?

The judgement day is simply a day in which God would separate those who received His life through Faith in His Son Jesus, from those who didn’t. Those who didn’t believe in Him (Jesus), will be separated eternally from Him and the saints. Having been separated from His presence, they shall be utterly destroyed (Hell).
Concerning that day, here Is what apostle John wrote to us as believers.

1Jn 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
1Jn 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Did you notice how he went on from verse 15 to explain something about the man in Christ i.e the believer today?

He says God LIVES WITHIN him. He has been made PERFECT in God’s love and would have BOLDNESS on the day on Judgement.

So on that day of judgement, we won’t be approaching the judge of the whole world with fear, timidity or shyness. We won’t have to shy away from His presence because we are not holy or righteous enough. We won’t be approaching Him with anything fear. You know why?

That is because as Jesus IS, so are WE in this present world.

The question now is, how is Jesus presently?
Well Jesus is RIGHTEOUS, HOLY and WELL-PLEASING (acceptable) to the father.

That simply means as believers, we are RIGHTEOUS, HOLY and ACCEPTABLE or WELL-PLEASING to the Father also.

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

As Christ IS, is how we are now and will forever be. That’s why we would have BOLDNESS/CONFIDENCE to stand before Him on that great day of judgement. That is what the Bible teaches.

Look at that verse 17 and 18 of 1 John 4 one more time.

1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Notice how it is clearly explained that God doesn’t want you to live in fear of that day. If you are still afraid of that day, it simply means you have not been made perfect in the love of God. You are yet to understand fully how much God loves you. You are yet to understand all that He has done for you in Christ. You are yet to understand who you are in Christ!

Yes the judgement day is coming but Jesus got you covered as a believer. Unlike what is popularly believed out there, your sins are not going to be displayed for the whole world to see and judge your level of performance. You are not going there to be judged by your works but rather your faith in Christ.

The only time you will ever be judged for your works as a believer is at the Judgement Seat of Christ. This is after you have gone to heaven.

That is where you will receive the reward for the good works you have done here on earth. If you have no good works on your account then, you will certainly have no reward from Him. Though you will still be in heaven. That is because heaven is not a reward for our good we have done. It is a gift we receive by faith in Christ.

Left for us, there is no amount of good works we can do that will be enough for us to enter there.

So, the last day or the day of Judgement, is the day in which God will judge the whole world. And on that day, only one thing will matter - Faith in Christ.

Have you believed in Jesus as your Saviour from sin and condemnation or are you still struggling very hard on your own to please God?
Do not forget that I said on that day ONLY ONE THING will matter. Not your religion, church or good works. Only faith in Christ. That is what will determine the outcome of your judgement.
That is the truth about the Judgement Day. That is what the Bible truly teaches!

Having received Christ as our Lord and saviour, we BOLDLY await that day!

I hope this blesses you.

Christianity EtcDealing With The Coronavirus As A Christian: What You Must Know by unstoppable51(op): 9:20am On Mar 29, 2020
It is no news that a virus “coronavirus” is currently spreading across the globe like wildfire. As with earthquakes, flooding, hurricanes and other natural disasters, opportunists are already taking advantage of the situation to say that God is the one using this particular virus to punish the world for their sins and force them to come back to Him.

On the other hand, those who do not believe in the existence or the goodness of God, are making it look like God doesn’t care about the world. “If He cares, why will He let such an evil thing come upon the same people He claims to love” they say.

If you continually give a listening ear to such, they will take away your eyes from the more deadlier diseases and infections that God has in the past delivered and given man the wisdom to keep them in check. Such statements will even make you forget the supernatural healings we have witnessed God perform on the behalf of those who trusted in Him.

Psa 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Psa 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psa 103:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies

Testimonies abound of people getting healed of medically incurable diseases. Very many of them. God has continually demonstrated His goodness in pulling men from the pangs of death, right there on their sick beds. Even when the doctors have given up on them. If He did it once, He can do it again and again, and again! We simply have to hold on to His promises.

From the activities of the virus, we are confident that God is definitely not behind it. And knowing this, we can be bold enough to reject it from our lives. By prayer and by common sense!

By prayer here, I mean praying for yourself and members of your family. That their lives are spared from this virus and every other one out there. That no harm by any means come upon them.

You also pray for the world, that the wisdom of God be given to our medical personnels who are out there in search of the cure. That the light of God shine on the right part for them. That they look and see the medical solutions, even in the least expected areas. That they leave no stone unturned, looking down on it and concluding that solutions cannot come from such.

Some sicknesses and viruses can be demonic. As is the case of the man we read about in the scriptures.

Mat_9:32 As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil.
Mat_9:33 And when the devil was cast out, the dumb spake: and the multitudes marvelled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.

While the rest of the people saw the man as having a medical challenge. Jesus saw the challenge as spiritual and addressed it as such. So while we pray for the men working tirelessly in the medical field for a solution to this, let’s also pray that nothing supernatural hinders their efforts. Especially by causing the virus to spread even further, beyond control.

Apart from handling the outbreak spiritually, also apply common sense in your day to day activities when it comes to avoiding the virus. The essence of God giving us a brain is so that at moments like this we can use it and stay safe from certain things. Like my mentor use to say, “the blood of Jesus washed away our sins, not our brains.”

Abide by the safety and prevention guidelines being rolled out by our medical personnels whom God has given the wisdom to guide us at such a time. Do not put yourself and others in unnecessary danger and then blame God for the aftermaths. Learn about the virus from very reliable sources and don’t join others in spreading falsehood about it.

Most importantly, do not live in fear of the virus or the infections. Our God is well able and strong to heal and deliver us from it. He will give the scientists wisdom to find the medical cure for it. But even in the absence of that, we trust in His divine power to keep us.

We saw the rise and fall of anthrax, bird flu, ebola and the rest of them. In no distant time from now, we will see the end of the coronavirus too. It shall join the list of the viruses and diseases we have all seen and overcome.

While we wait on that, I pray “that both you and all that concerns you be kept safe at this time. That angels work tirelessly on your behalf spiritually and physically, to keep you very far from the virus.”

Never forget to apply common sense and abide by the health guidelines given by experts on this. Remember, Jesus washed away our sins, not our brains. And he did it for only one purpose- so we could use it.

Coronavirus is not God’s way of punishing or teaching the world any lesson. Quit attributing to God the very destructive works of the devil.

James_1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

If it’s not good and perfect, it cannot and can never be from God!

I hope this blesses you!

Christianity EtcHow Was Jesus Able To Withstand The Horrible Death Of The Cross? Check This Out by unstoppable51(op): 12:23pm On Feb 29, 2020
No other man in the history of of the world, has faced the level of betrayal, insults, shame, punishment and pain that Jesus faced in His journey to redeem man from sin.

Talk about the emotional torture, the physical pain, the taking on of the filth of the world (sin) and the spiritual separation from God. His death is such that not even the most compassionate of “ordinary” men would have volunteered of his own will to go through it. But Jesus did it anyway.

How was He able to withstand the so much pain that led to His death? The Bible tells us.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.” (Heb 12:2-3)

"For the joy that was set before Him, He withstood the pains." That means there was something He was seeing ahead of Him. Something He had in mind. That enabled Him to withstand the pain and shame of the cross.

What was this joy or glory that was set ahead of Him?
We find this in Isaiah 53, verse 10 to 11.

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.” (Isa 53:10-11 KJV)

That joy set ahead of Him is His seed, his generation, whom He will justify from everything sin through His death and resurrection. That is you the believer today.

You were the glory He saw ahead of Him that made His pains seem like nothing before Him. All the while He was on the cross, it was you that He had in mind.

In the eyes of Jesus, you are worth every pain, insult, shame, heartbreak and finally the death of sinners that He went through.

Not even the blood flowing through His veins was as valuable as you are to Him so He let it spill. By that blood today, you have eternal forgiveness of sins. A forgiveness of sins that covers your past, present and future. You can’t exhaust it.

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” (Col 1:14 KJV)

So now it is perfectly okay to quit running away from your past, ashamed of how bad it has been. It is perfectly okay to give up the futile effort of trying to clean up your life before you can come to Him. Being fully aware of your sins, mistakes and weaknesses, He invites you into His loving embrace so He can wrap His banner of Love over you.

Now you can boldly walk into His inner chamber, His throne room and expect to be declared “not guilty” of all charges the enemy may have brought up against you. Because He has borne your sins and was judged “guilty” and killed for your sake.

“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Heb 4:14-16)

Come into His loving embrace and feel His fatherly heart beat for you. If the One who knows everything about you counts you worthy enough to die for your sins, why count yourself as nothing? You are the joy that was set before Him, the glory He saw ahead of His pains. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.

You mean so much more to Him than your mind can ever comprehend. He loves you dearly. He truly does. Come into His embrace, just as you are right now and experience His great love for you.

I hope this blesses you!

Say “I am the glory that was set ahead of you. Thank you Jesus for dying in my place. Indeed I believe it was for me you died.”

Glory to God!

Christianity EtcThe True Way To Prosper And Live A Successful Life As A Christian by unstoppable51(op): 6:12pm On Feb 22, 2020
Goodnews! God wants you to be successful and prosper materially in Christ

(3Jn 1:2) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Even more than our earthly fathers, God cares about our whole being. He doesn’t just want us to be sound spiritually, He wants us to have healthy bodies and prosper financially also.

I know there are lots of people out there who are trying to make it look like the only thing God cares about is your spiritual life as a Christian. The way it is put, you would think that having a desire for the good life (a life of prosperity and abundance) is a sin in God’s eyes. However the Bible tells us a different thing altogether.

(Psa 35:27) Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His children. It gladdens His heart to see you prosper.

In a bid to warn the brethren against greed and the love of money, we most times cross the line and warn them against having money and make being rich appear the same as being unrighteous.

While it is true that some of the believers in the Bible were poor and may have even died that way, there is no denial that there were those who also prospered abundantly even after they have trusted in God for salvation. For instance Abraham:

(Gen 15:6) And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
(Gen 15:7) And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it.
(Gen 24:35) And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses.

I singled out the case of Abraham because of his significance to our faith. But there were others also who prospered before and after their salvation as believers.

Material prosperity does not always mean one would be stinkingly rich. But it surely means you would always have enough to meet your needs and that of those around you. Your name may or may not appear on Forbes list of richest people in the world but whenever there is a need, you wouldn’t have to sell a kidney to meet that need. That is the Bible’s description of material prosperity. Not a life that is constantly in lack, debts and penury.

One can be rich and yet righteous same way he can be poor, wicked and very ungodly. Being rich or poor has nothing to do with righteousness or holiness. It’s just a matter of choice.

I have seen people genuinely serve God to the best of their abilities when they were poor and still maintained that in the midst of abundance. Never accept poverty as God’s ultimate method to keep you humble, holy and righteous.

So how do you achieve success in life as a believer especially in this dispensation of Grace?

When it comes to achieving material prosperity or success in any endeavour as believers, the Bible’s laid down pattern or process for getting that is works through grace. You can call that a grace empowered labour or labour working by grace.

It is not just by grace alone (without any form of your effort as in salvation) or purely by works (as in your personal labour alone). It is actually by Grace through labour. The two are so interwoven you can’t separate one from the other.

Before you get mad at me for even mentioning the words “works” and “labour” with regards to our achieving success in life, let me show you something real quick from the scriptures.

(1Co 15:10) But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
(2Co 11:23) Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

Now if you paid real attention to those verses above, you’d discover Paul in talking about his success in ministry and how he achieved it, never ceased to mention how he by God’s grace laboured abundantly for it.

He never credited it to his efforts or labours alone, neither did he also credit it only to God’s grace (without any effort from him). He always put the two in their right perspectives.

You know the common misconception people have about grace and works (labour) is that they are complete opposites of each other. It is not always true.

The only time grace is completely devoid of works in the scriptures, is with regards to salvation. After salvation, grace empowers you to labour and achieve success in whatever field you want. That is what Paul meant in those verses above by saying that Grace was working in him causing him to labour more abundantly than the others. It empowers you to work diligently while you are on the earth.

That is also why in heaven, we will be rewarded not for the grace that we received freely from God but for the labour and work we personally did with it.

(2Co 5:cool We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
(2Co 5:9) Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
(2Co 5:10) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Now when we talk about being successful in our ministries, businesses and careers, we don’t become passive claiming we are leaving everything to grace. Yes, God’s grace will take care of that but it is going to do it through you.

So if you are not actively involved in the work to bring the big picture God has placed within your heart to manifestation while trusting in His grace, you make the grace of God a vain thing. The same way you give work too much credit if you claim success and material prosperity is all by one’s efforts alone.

That means in aiming for success or material prosperity in life, one would need to work as though grace never exists, and as well trust in God’s grace as though there is no such a thing called labour.

God’s grace has empowered us to prosper materially and be successful in whatever field we may find ourselves. In co-operation with that grace, we work hard and smart, bringing to materialization that prosperity and all round success.

I hope this blesses you.
Glory to God!

Christianity Etc7 Things You Must Never Ever Forget As A Christian by unstoppable51(op):
Dear Christian, here are top 7 beautiful truths to always bear in mind. You should never forget them even in a hurry. At any moment of your life!

1. The Old You Is Totally Gone

You are not that man who was lost, completely immersed in sin and never cared about God. You are not that man anymore. You are a brand new man, not a “refurbished” sinner.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2Co 5:17)
You are the man in Christ, a new specie of men. A saint by default. That is who you are Now!
“Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours.” (1Co 1:2)

2. You Are The Righteousness Of God In Christ

What the above simply means is that you have been given an eternal righteousness in Christ. At every moment of your life, you are exactly as righteous as Jesus is. Every moment of your life.
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2Co 5:21)
“For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.” (Rom 5:17-18)
Do not ever let that slip from your mind. When the Devil brings up an accusation against you, you make sure you look him in the eye and tell him that.

3. The Spirit Of God Dwells In You And Will Never Leave

Your body is the dwelling place of the most high God. The Spirit of God lives in you, even now. You carry Him everywhere you go, everywhere. He doesn’t leave you when you are emotionally down or made some mistakes to come back later when everything is OK with you. No! Your body is His permanent place of abode and He has promised never to leave nor forsake you at any time of your life.
He is not in you for a visit. He is in you to stay eternally.
“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” (Joh 14:16-17)
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” (Heb 13:5-6)

4. You Have Been Equipped With Power

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Act 1:cool
You have the power of God at work in you now through the person of the Holy Spirit. Let this reality down on you. Whether in school, at work, in market or even at home. Wherever you find yourself, always remember you have been empowered to do the very works of Jesus on earth.
Whenever the need arises, stand up in faith and demonstrate the power of God by stretching forth your hands to heal the sick and oppressed. Your words also carry the power of God, use them and recreate your world.

5. You Have Passed From Death To Life. Hell Has No Business With You

“Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.” (1Jn 3:13-14)
The man in Christ has passed from death to life. He has no business with hell anymore. Do not ever be afraid of ending up in hell after you are done on earth here. You have eternal life now. The very life of God. There is no possibility of you ending up in Hell anymore.
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1Jn 5:11-13)
Let your conducts and speech be full of Christ. As much as you can, represent Christ in your behaviours. But this is not so as for you not to end up in Hell. No! It’s because you are a new creature, a heavenly citizen. You have no business looking like those headed for Hell.

6. God Takes Pleasure In Answering Your Prayers

Always remember you can talk to God about anything. Regardless of how big or small it is. He takes pleasure in hearing your prayers. It is His will to always answer you. “Always” I say.
“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” (1Jn 5:14-15)
You can talk to God about anything. Including the pimple on your nose. He is concerned about whatever it is that bothers you and is always ready to help you take care of it if you let Him. Do not ever forget this.
You can talk to Him about that job, that relationship, that marriage, that business, your challenges etc. With Him you have nothing to be ashamed of. So open up your heart and pour it all out to Him.

7. You Are Never Alone

You might be going through a storm right now. You might be going through the worst moment of life. Business is bad, the salary is not coming, no peace at home and your life feels stuck. You may be facing the greatest financial battle of your life and it doesn’t seem like it will end soon.
Your friends may have abandoned you and no one seems to be asking after your welfare. Life is going the way you never expected and it's all like you are alone. But hey! You are not alone. God is right there with you. And He has promised to help you.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” (Isa 41:10)
“Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.” (Isa 41:14)
“I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.” (Isa 41:18)
In the midst of trials and much difficulties, never forget His promises. Hold on to them and let them strengthen and guide your actions.
I hope this blesses you.
Glory to God our king!

Hismasterpiece:
The gospel is ply means good news, that is, news so good that its just too good to be true. Yes Jesus preached the Gospel. The gospel is summarized in John 3:16.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

This is the Gospel. Since the beginning when Adam sinned and died, all men too began sinning and dying . Death, which is the consequence of sin, is both being spiritually separated from God (having a sin nature while alive & eternal punishment in hell after life is over), and all miseries brought about by sin (guilt, depression, etc).

But God, not wanting to condemn the whole world to hell (God judging us is not an act of wickedness. He is a just God, and must punish sin) sent His Son to bear the consequences of the entire world's sins.

Jesus wasn't born a sinner. He never sinned and lived up to God's standard. But when Jesus hung on the cross, He took upon Himself the curse of the law, He took upon the sins of the whole world on our behalf.

What makes His sacrifice superior to all others is the fact that He was God, and He was innocent.

God condemned Jesus, so He wouldn't have to condemn us. So, if anyone puts their faith in Jesus, such a person is made part of Jesus. All His righteousness, holiness, perfection is attributed to such a person. All that persons sins will be forgiven, and no further sacrifice would be needed to appease God's wrath when such a person sins, because His wrath has been fully borne by Jesus.

Whoever believes in God will have eternal life. Eternal life, according to Jesus, is not just living forever in Heaven, but knowing and having intimacy with God the father and Jesus. John 17:2-3.

In summary, judgment has been taken on your behalf, and by believing you are made right with God.

John chapter 3 is the gospel from Jesus's perspective. The book of romans chapters 1-8 is the gospel from Paul's perspective except that Paul went deeper to explain things in detail.

Jesus wasn't talking about God forgiving us when He said forgive and you will be forgiven. What He simply meant is that we should all treat people the way we want them to treat us; we should give people what we want them to give us.

What He meant by our righteousness exceeding that of the scribes and pharisees was this: The scribes and pharisees were self-righteous and thought that they were right with God by observing the law, but as I have already said, such righteousness doesn't count before God. So, we are to have God's kind of righteousness, the one He attributes to all who believe in Him. (Believing in Jesus is the same as believing opinions God. John 12:44).

All those other things you pointed out are just His teachings. The Gospel is His birth, death and resurrection, done for our sakes, so we can all be made right with God.
My heart just warmed up with joy reading this your comment bro. This is indeed the Gospel summed up!

Christianity EtcWhat Does The Bible Mean By "He That Overcometh Shall Inherit All Things?" by unstoppable51(op): 8:46am On Dec 15, 2019
Does Revelations 21:7-8 teach that a believer can lose his Salvation and end up in Hell? What does the Bible mean by “He that overcometh shall inherit all things?”

Enjoy this Gospel exposition from #FeedMeJesus.com

The book of Revelations is a record of series of visions received by apostle John on exile on the Island of Patmos. Being a series of visions, the contents must be properly considered and interpreted using the epistles as guidelines since we all know that visions are mostly figurative.

That means to answer the above questions, we must look to the epistles for clarity in the explanations of those revelations or visions of John. To begin, let’s look at that passage and read out what John said he saw there.

Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

To understand “He that overcometh” that he is talking about in that verse 7, let’s back up a little bit and read from verse 6.

Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

So from verse 6, we see that “He that overcometh” that Jesus was talking to John about in verse 7 is the same person who was thirsty but have drank of the Fountain of Life (Salvation) freely without paying for it either with money or his works. He received it FREELY without any cost at all.

This is the same person verse 7 said will inherit all things. Why? Because by drinking of the Fountain of Life (Salvation i.e the finished works of Christ), he has entered a union with God. God is now his Father and him His Son. Not because he did anything to deserve it (paid any form of prize for it) but simply received it as a gift.

In his epistle, apostle John also explained “who it is that overcomes” in such a way that it is clear as crystal. Here is how he puts it.

1Jn 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1Jn 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

So from 1 John 5:4-5, we see that “He that overcomes” in Revelation 21:7, is simply the fellow who has believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Not necessarily the fellow who never sins after he is born again. No it is simply the one who has received the free gift of salvation that God has offered the world through His Son Jesus Christ.

What about verse 8 of that Revelations 21? now pay attention to the line of thought in those verses again. Let’s start from verse 6 of that chapter and go down to that verse 8.

Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Did you notice how that verse 8 started with “but as for” and he went ahead to describe the man who is the opposite of “He that overcometh” which he had earlier talked about. Remember that “He that overcometh” here is the one that has believed in Jesus as his Saviour from sin or the one who has drank of the Fountain of Life. Verse 8 description being his opposite would then be pointing to the man who does not overcome or the man who has not taken a drink from the Fountain of Life (Salvation). And that is the unbeliever today. He is the one that verse 8 is talking about that will be thrown in the Lake of Fire if he doesn’t drink of the Fountain of Life or overcome the world by His faith in Jesus’ sacrifice for his sins.

So looking at Revelations 21:6-8 closely, we see that “He that overcomes” that shall inherit all things and have a Father-Son relationship with God, is simply the one who has believed in Jesus’ sacrifice for his sins. Not necessarily the one who is perfect in all his thoughts, words and actions. This is further confirmed by the same apostle John who wrote the book of Revelations in 1 John 5:4-5. Look at that again.

1Jn 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1Jn 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Having believed in Jesus as your Saviour from sin, you have crossed from death to life and will no longer end up in the lake of fire. This is what the Bible teaches. That is God’s promise and in it lies our Faith.

I hope this blesses you. Glory to Jesus, our Saviour and King!

Christianity EtcThe Blessedness Of The New Covenant We Have In Christ by unstoppable51(op): 8:34am On Dec 15, 2019
This Bible exposition from #FeedMeJesus.com will change your life forever!

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

“And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. (Hebrews 8:10-12 KJV)

Prior to the coming of Christ, God’s people (Israel) had lived by a covenant which was given to them by Moses and Angels at their request. Kindly note that this Covenant I am referring to here is the Law, also known as the Old Testament. It was given them by Moses, hence we call it the Law of Moses or the Mosaic Laws.

Several portions of the scriptures in the New Testament explains to us that this Law has Moses and Angels as the source, even though they were allowed by God to make the covenant with Isreal on His behalf. See some of those scriptures below.

Joh 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Act 7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us.

Act 7:53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.

Gal 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

Heb 2:2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward

Was the Law or the Old Covenant evil? No, it wasn’t. It was good but had two major challenges with it. Challenges that made God Himself to reject it.

What are these challenges?

First is that the Old Covenant found fault with the people. It was always pointing out who missed it and where he missed it. Who sinned, and how he sinned. The worst part is, it kept on finding fault with the people until EVERYONE who lived by it or not, was condemned to sin and became a sinner. Everyone!

Heb 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah

The above scripture said the Old Covenant was not Faultless because it found fault with the people of God. It pointed out their wrongdoings, repeatedly, until it concluded everyone of them a sinner. In their own eyes and before God.

Gal 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.

Gal 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

The second challenge with the Law is that it not only condemned men to sin, it also couldn’t make them righteous. It couldn’t free them from sin. It couldn’t make men perfect, no matter how much they tried to keep it.

Heb 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

All their efforts at being right or perfect before God based on their works or obedience to the Law, yielded nothing. It was seen like a filthy rag by God.

Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

These two major weaknesses with the Law or the Old Covenant, made God discard it. God through His prophet, Jeremiah, promised the people a better covenant. In which He will be the one that makes men righteous and He will also be the decider of Who is a righteous man.

That is, He will be the Just (Judge) and Justifier of men. Not the law anymore.

Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

That was the prophecy and promise the writer of Hebrews quoted in Hebrews 8 to enlighten the Israelites that God has set forth a propitiation from sin for them, and has become the justifier of all who will come to Him by Faith in Christ Jesus.

So, all who believes in Jesus RECEIVES righteousness from God as a Gift. Not by their efforts or works. It is a gift received by faith (believing in Jesus as the Saviour from sin). That gift of righteousness, qualifies men who were once called sinners to be called righteous men and the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. It doesn’t come by obedience to the law or old covenant.

Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Rom 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Rom 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

That is the blessedness of the New Covenant we have received of God Himself in Christ. It has made us righteous, holy, empowered, free from condemnation and sin. It has created in us the ability to live righteously in our conducts and behaviours. Not so that we won’t miss Heaven, displease God and get thrown into Hell. No, that ability helps us live Holy lives so that the world will see Jesus, the true nature of God, in our lifestyle and conducts.

Under the Old Covenant or Law, man had to do, do and do in order to please God. But under the New Covenant, God Himself did EVERYTHING for us in Christ because He is PLEASED IN US and WITH US.

That is the glory of the New Covenant we have received in Jesus. That is the Blessedness of the New Covenant. In it, God is the doer, the justifier, the one working in us, both to will and to do His good pleasure.

In the New Covenant, ALL OUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN and will by no means be remembered against us forever and ever! That is what the Bible teaches!

Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

I hope this blesses you! Lift your hands and give God praise.

Glooooooooooory!
