scoobs: Yes for their new course in Environmental Economics.
I feel the school is using the Diploma course to get money out of international students. Well, I requested for exemption but was told that my undergraduate course is not related to the course content...that was why I wasn't granted any exemptions. |

Naija9090: Arrant Nonesense. Where were you when hundreds and thousands were massacred and butchered in Benue and Southern Kaduna? I don't support violence but be fair to write a long epistle like this when Christians are maimed and massacred for nothing! Is Buhari paying you to write this? Who is paying you? Who is paying who? OP oya confess... we need to investigate OP. He has been compromised...OP has joined bad gang!!! |

TANTUMERGO007: The truth is that the OP is just looking for a cheap popularity, with thousands of HATE SPEECHES all over the Northern naija has he for once said anything to condemn those ani mals. They keep killing innocent Christians and you expect us to fold our arms and watch them slaughter us. Truth is that we can't fold our hands while they kill innocent children and women while we wait for a government that don't value human lives....
THESE CRIMINALS FROM BUHARI's TRIBE ROAM ABOUT KILLING AND DESTROYING HUMAN BEINGS AND THE OP EXPECTS US TO WATCH WHILE ALL THESE ACTS ARE BEING DONE....
That's why they allow gun for personal defense in America. No one deserves to die because of the errant stupidity and callousness of a group. It is NOT acceptable
What will you do when a fu la ni comes to attack your wife/baby, probably you going to act like Jesus by allowing them kill your family and pray that God would forgive them smh |

iPrevail: I get your point. The whole thing about principles and distrust.. Honestly, I get it. But my point was/is, we did not have to know about it! To me, it's immature. What does he want us to do? Convince him to cancel the wedding? This should be a personal decision thing. Fine, you've got philosophies and laid out principles, make decisions according to those principles and stop constituting public nuisance. (humor intended). I don't agree with you on this. Why would she hide her age for 4 years? The idea is, if she could do this, she could do much worse. The OP should confront and forgive her though. |

Folumade1: i think irrespective of what you are going for PGC, PGD or MBA what matters to your VO is your supporting documentations to back that application. i stand to be corrected as well You are right. Your statement of purpose (SOP) should be fantastic too. Future applicants should remember that application for Canadian visa does not involve an interview. So, your mouthpiece is your SOP. Just take your take to write a solid SOP...it will work out. Cheers |

Osemigho: Congrats! @joblinks1 and unyted. Kindly share your profile. I earlier posted my sequence of notification from my online application (27 Oct 2016) to TRV approval (11 Jan 2017). I am an MBA Candidate but studied Mathematics at the undergraduate level. I have over 5 years work experience. I will focus on the documents I attached with my application. Documents submitted - I submitted about 130 page of documents (personal and sponsor documents) even for an online application. I think documentation is VERY important. Look for ways to compress your documents if you are submitting an online application. Adobe pro could be very helpful. CIC forms (online) Police Certificate Passport bio-data page Statement of purpose ( I used the exact one that I used for school application) - one pager doc, but summarizing key skills learnt at BSc level, my work experience, personal goals and objectives and the reason for studying abroad and not in Nigeria. I also stated my intention to return to Nigeria and set up a business on return, after all I am an MBA candidate. Professional exam certificate Leave approval from current employer Tuition receipt - 7500 CAD BSc Certificate SSCE certificate Birth certificate (National Population Commission) Resume IELTS certificate - my agent advised me to just do it, as it could potentially cause delay Admission letter Reference letters - from school & former employer Letter of employment and salary upgrade letters from previous employments Pay slips (6 months) Personal SOA - 1.5m Investment account - 7.2m Pension account - about 3m - This is also an asset that should be considered for guys with years of experience SOA from sponsor - 10m Pay slips from sponsor Affidavits of co-sponsorship Letter of co-sponsorship Sponsor's Company incorporation docs and bank statements of Companies (almost zero balance) Passport bio data page of sponsor Prayer and belief is also key. Don't expect rejection...be positive. Cheers and all the best! |

Onyeara: Hello Guy I had my first degree in Mech Eng , Nigeria, and masters in Europe in 2006 in Mech Eng and worked in UK till 2010 when I returned to Nigeria I have applied for Canada Entry Visa but got refused on the ground of Purpose of Visit Asset and Finance. Had my brother as Sponsor Closing Baalnce 5m Personal bal 800k Age 42 My Admission is PGD and I didn't indicate that I had masters before. I order my GCM,From GCM, they were talking about brother fund is small, personal fund small, my proposed study program not inline with my previous study Mec Eng(Undergraduate study). They also said in the gcm that I haven't had study abroad, and return to show that i will really come back after studies I am applying for masters in Mech Eng to reapply in 2017. Friends are advising my to put in my old rich passport and indicate my previous study even though i didn't put it in previous application. Pls gurus in the house advise a brother, will I be barned if I put in new information, wouldn't they see it as hiding of vital information and barn me for 5 years Thanks for your anticipated replies Cheers Sorry for the delay bro...just try and re-fire, it will surely come. There are evidences on this forum that the probability of getting TRV as an MSc candidate is higher than for PGDs. Will you consider a change of course to boost your chances? Ensure your choice of course is related to your undergraduate course and/or your current work experience. I do not believe mentioning that you have an MSc will diminish your chances, in as much as your new course complements your old MSc degree. Finance is also very key. Try and boost your personal account to about NGN 5m. This is very important considering your previous work experience. If your sponsor can also increase his account balance, that would be nice. If possible, include your letters of employment at your previous place of work with your application. You could also get study leave approval from your current employer, stating when you are due to return to work after your study, and the position you will be resuming at. Your SOP should be detailed, and should itemize the skills you have learnt at your BSc level, and the skills accumulated at work. It is always nice to ensure that your MSc/PGD complements your previous skills and experiences and reinforces your personal goals and objectives. I wish you all the best in your next application. Cheers! |

I am in the same situation with the deferment. What are we to show at the point of entry now You will need to request for an updated admission letter from your school, stating May 2017 as the resumption date. It may be a good idea to have both admission letters printed with you (Jan and May), incase the immigration guys ask questions. |

Please, I will like to know, If is compulsory to submit statement of account of sponsor, after the sponsor have already transfer the amount he plans to donate to your account.. Try and submit the SOA of your sponsor with yours. Though account balance is important, evidence of inflow of funds (fund history) is also critical. Hope this helps. |

ladyFola: Hi house ,please,I need ur urgent advice ! I got admission from Niagara College,ON to study Critical Care Nursing this year, to resume by Sept '16 but I deffered it to Jan'17 because I was unable to pay my tuition fee due to No form A blablabla from banks and I was told by the school that if I mistakenly refuse to resume by Jan'17 with intention of resuming by May'17,i would have to pay another $500 CAD (application fee). The issue now is,I applied online on 24th Sept, had biometrics done on 28th September'16 and since then, till now, nothing has been heard from CIC but just " Thanks for being patient" of which I sent a mail to Accra and I was told my application was on queue pending processing. I discussed with an agent today, though, I applied online by myself. And the agent told me that I can get a Lawyer who will assist me in sending a mail/ letter to the school, then school gets in touch with CIC which could make the processing faster. My main questions are: 1. How appropriate is it to send a letter from a lawyer to the school? 2. Do u think school has any "say" about VISA processing 3. What's d probability that if school interferes,my visa application will be processed faster. 4.School resumes on 9th,Jan '17.Is there still hope for me? NOTE: No medical examination been done ooo Thanks so much! The schools in Canada are always reluctant to interfere with visa application. I think it is very unfair of your school to demand additional payment of 500 CAD if you eventually have to resume in May. I am due to resume in January too, and sent an email to my school to liaise with the VO, to fast track the process. However, I was told they can't do that, though I was given the option to resume in May if my visa is delayed and I can't resume in January. Cheers! |

Alondra: A 1800s way of reasoning, Most ladies nowadays don't go back to their parent's house after school. They prefer to be alone and work their ways through life, so your assertion is wrong. Ladies in their parent's house tend to be the lazy ones who feeds on what the oldies have to offer. They have higher tendencies to be frequent on social media. A good cook may decide to go to an eatery to eat also whatever happens to having things a different way.
Your write up I flawed in many ways but the worst of it is your hasty generalization. May I put it to you that there I no place you cant find a wife or husband even in the asylum Amazing comment |

beatcoins: Quilox ? Your biggest mistake. All these places you mentioned are hangouts for coded oloshos. A good wife material lives with her parents, has a skill or proffeession, does not spend odd hours of the night on instagram and whatsapp, not looking like yellow custard while she was born black. Can only boast of having max 3 xboyfriends, and when you find her, shes already taken by someone who holds her in high esteem. These places you call, beer joints and eatery will be your biggest mistake. Only a girl who cant cook leaves her house in mid day to buy lunch at an eatery Amazing comment. |

nelly28: bro paper route or online guess both are almost d same, but if u ask me I prefer d paper route because u submit & run biometric same day.
To ur 2nd question, Go to CIC an download CIC forms ( application form, family form, questionnaire, vfs form ) etc alongside ur 1.Proof of acceptance letter 2. Proof of identity 3. Proof of financial support by u or ur sponsor 4. Letter of explanation ( it a choice ) in some app it might not b needed 5.Affidavit of support 6.All ur academy documents 7.Birth cert 8.police clearance cert and feel free 2 add any other documents u feel will b helpful in ur applications. success The major advantage of paper application is the capacity you have to attach as many supporting documents as possible. Statistics here also reveal that paper application tends to be faster. There is a 90% confidence interval that a paper application will be processed in less than 12 weeks. Paper applicatìon is also cheaper by about 30k, if forex is bought at the black market rate. Hope this is clear. |
