Troops in the 33 Artillery Brigade have arrested a fake soldier identified as Adam Alexander in Bauchi state. The 22-year-old boy from Maiduguri Borno State, was arrested on Friday November 18th where he was trying to sell a stolen phone Samsung Galaxy Note 5 for N70,000.

Announcing his arrest, the deputy director of the media in the army, Captain Sunday Akinkunmi, added that the suspect was arrested in the Wunti market.

An unidentified Kenyan woman has died after she was gang raped together with her three daughters by an unknown gang of seven in Olo- sitan village Isinya, Kajiado County. The 43 year old deceased reportedly suffered shock and died after she was rushed to the hospital on Sunday, November 13, 2016.
According to Nairobinews, one of the family members confirmed the unforeseen operation saying the unknown gang of seven who were blindfolded raided the village with arrows and machetes in the late hours of Sunday.

During the operation, the gang members made their way to the deceased’s home collected about sh75,000 that was contributed at a church fundraiser before raping the woman, her daughter and two daughter in-laws.

The woman whose daughters are being treated at a nearby hospital in Kajiado County will be buried on Tuesday, November 22, 2016

Royal palace in Ghana places ban on funerals and unpleasant noise until the Queen mother of Asante Kingdom is buried

The Manhyia palace in Ghana has placed a ban on funerals, drumming and noise making in the Ashanti region of Kumasi until Asantehemaa, Queen mother of Asante Kingdom, Nana Afia Kobi Serwaa Ampem II is laid to rest.
The ban comes after the Queen mother of Asante Kingdom passed away peacefully at her palace on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the age of 111.

In a statement released by Kofi Badu, the Chief of Staff at the Manhyia palace, he said:
‘In accordance with Asante custom, a ban has been placed on all funeral, drumming and noisemaking throughout Asanteman until after the funeral of the Asantehemaa. She has been a pillar of strength and source of wisdom behind the transformational reign of his Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene.’
According to reports, traditional one week rite will be performed for the late Queen at the Manhyia palace on Thursday, November 24, 2016.

This extremely sad incident happened this morning at Mile 2 junction Lagos. A lady's legs were crushed when a container fell on her as she was about boarding a bike on the road. According to a LIB eye witness, the bike man managed to escape but the lady tripped while trying to run, and the container fell on her legs. People came to her rescue and when they couldn't figure out how to take the very heavy container off her, they decided to cut off her legs with a cutlass. you are talking about sniper and air support or advancement when the video is too short to credibly access the situation.

No Brigade fights without snipers..if the video did not show one does not mean there wasnt one. Air support could have been enroute but the video wasnt long enough to show that....

Talking about advancement I am sure you can see they are in the middle of a Boko haram sandwich and were shooting in 2 directions so how could they advance when both directions are blocked off.

My professional assessment is that they probably walked into an ambush so were temporarily disorganised which was when the video was being shot but they were doing a good job holding their position.

War fronts is not a video game...its real and scary and you never see the bullet that kills you until it hits you... Stop being condemning analytically..rather pray for them which I am sure you would have been doing if your brother was trapped in that ambush.

If a property or method is static, it means it is a class attribute as opposed to being an instance attribute.
You will access a class attribute without needing to instantiate the class
E.g

class Example{
    public static $variable = "myValue";
}

The static variable can then be accessed by doing :

Example:: variable

The same thing for a method.


Unlike a situation where you'd have to do:

$myobj = new Example();
$myobj.variable

I believe it makes more sense now
