Only WES verifies ACCA. You have to have completed ACCA. Make sure you add it to other degrees you want to evaluate in the WES online registeration. Send clear photocopies ( can be coloured photocopies) of ur certificates, ACCA affiliate certificate and membership certificate ( if you are one) to WES. Dnt forget to quote the reference number given to you after online payment on the envelope. Then email ACCA to send ur transcript to WES. In ur email tell them to quote ur WES reference number on the envelope. That's all it's equivalent to 4 years Canadian BSC degree

Thank you so much. I want to believe the qualification and my first degree (BSc) will qualify me for the 119 points listed against 'Two or more certificates, diplomas, ......' in the CRS tool.

Hello experts in the house,
Has anyone used WES to verify ACCA qualification. I saw on their website and on IQAS that they only verify university qualification. I am a bit confused as to how to get the degree verified.

Hello dear, pls I sent you a PM,i will appreciate your response. Thanks

uote author=bloggerina post=28129667]Hello again,
Dr Risq attended to me for 2 days in postpartum when my doctor was off duty. He seemed nice sha very elderly, he reminded me of my dad who was also a doctor.
WHMC is a very nice hospital tho, single occupancy rooms for you so you have your privacy. My room in labour & delivery fine for my eyes so the, I told the nurses I wanted to leave the room because I was afraid they would bill me more. The nurses that attended to me that night were nigerians, they just laughed at my "bushness". Lol anyway they have good staff that's what am trying to say.

The prices they gave you are already discounted for self-pay but you will get a discount for pathology(labs) and ultrasound if you ask. If you don't ask, they will chop your money and clean mouth. Epidurl is $1200 if u don't ask for discount, the bill will be almost $4k.

I wish you safe delivery mama.
Cheers

Lol, I thought I was the only one that noticed. Did you also notice that in the interview transcript in which the visa was allegedly declined cos of MIHS, she had mentioned she was having twins, however the birth report only mentioned a baby. God dey!

SimiJ:

I put it to you that you are a marketer for this coy, lol. With all the glowing narrative. Checked your poSts And there waS no real poe or visa interview narrative. The only transcript you had was just to pull down MIHS nothing more. Even though you fooled everyone be aware that some readers are not fooled. I can see there are real people using this hospital but I doubt you are one of them, keep up the hustle.lol

My fellow mamas. My visa was denied again so I shall be bowing out of the team american baby race.

I was also thinking Canada but the process and fees is quite cumbersome. But if anyone knows how to go about it I am willing to listen.

So sorry to hear that Rali, God knows best. Remember he knows the end from the beginning and has allowed this to happen for a reason. Canada won't be a bad idea, let's see if any of the mamas in the house can assist.

Long and insightful post. Year 2012 must have been a very interesting year for you. From your sister-in-law giving birth that year to you getting your 5year visa(btw I didn't know US embassy issues 5year visa) and then your sil returns from her birthing trip and escort you on yours and then the awful experience at POE till you finally put to bed in Oct 2012. Wow, is all I can say. Wish you a happy 'popping' for baby no 2.

Hi, please which branch of UBA did she get it? I contacted headoffice and they said no. Please let me know.
I don't know about UBA, but I know Stanbic IBTC sells at some of their branches on the island (Walter Carrington, Idejo and Awolowo Road Ikoyi I guess). You can try them out too.

Congrats Kween2014 and Twizzie.
@Kween, I can see PetMe has already asked you some questions on WHMC. Please I am interested in your response as I will also be using WHMC. I am however using Dr Rizk (he seems not be to be popular on this thread, I wonder why!) what was your experience at WHMC. Were you able to negotiate for discounts as a self paying patient?

Hello all, this is upgraded mum reporting live from Houston. Pardon me,my POE experience is quite long. I travelled last week via Delta. The Lagos-Atlanta route was smooth. I expected the flight to be super full given the awoof but surprisingly it wasn't. Got 2 free seats and I jejely converted them to room and parlour and slept for a greater part of the journey. Landed at atlanta, immigration took less than 5mins. I was asked the following questions: my purpose in the us,how long I will be staying, which hospital I am using, what I do in Nigeria, how much I had on me and how much they charge at the hospital. He thereafter told me to ensure I don't take medicaid and that I must pay all my bills before leaving as it will be a pre-requisite for me enter US on subsequent visits. He then stamped me in for 6months. Off to baggage claim to pick up my bags after which I proceeded to customs. Na so the custom guy sent me off for secondary inspection, I guess because of the foodstuff I carried. The secondary inspection people no dey rush at all oh. I spent over an hour waiting for my turn. Finally it was my turn sha, a lady attended to me,she checked my clothes and foodstuff mainly fish and cleared me. At this point it was 20mins to the take off time of my Atl-houston flight,na so I began to run oh, with trolley n big belle. Dropped off my luggage and proceeded to the security gate, come see queue. Luckily for me, one of the workers directed me to another security gate on another floor. Went through this, entered train, ran, jogged and finally got to my gate just at the nick of time. I was the last person admitted into the plane. Off we went to Houston and here I am...

@ Beebee and folusho, I will also be travelling early October to Houston. Using whmc and Dr La, would also wanna hook up. Maybe we can form a bbm group or something. Just thinking.

Hello, i'l also be in Houston from end of November, using Dr Rizk at WHMC. The bbm group isn't a bad idea, pls let's connect other houston bound mamas in the house.
