Roscosmos, the Russian space agency responsible for all space launches in Europe through the France Guina spaceport has halted it's Soyuz rockets services amidst face off with EU countries and NATO as the Ukrainian crisis rages on.

The space agency said it resorted to the sanction as EU imposed "wide-ranging sanctions on Russia".

“In response to EU sanctions against our enterprises, Roscosmos is suspending cooperation with European partners in organizing space launches from the Kourou cosmodrome and withdrawing its personnel, including the consolidated launch crew, from French Guiana,” head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, wrote in a tweet translated from Russian.

The European Space Agency (ESA) use Russian Soyuz rockets to launch scientific missions at the Guiana Space Centre program which has been operating since 2011.

“Why is Russia not afraid of Western sanctions?”

When all your aggressor does is levy more sanctions on you, they help you discover more ways of circumventing it if you look hard enough.

1. Power Games

In the Russian sphere of politics, a leader cannot be seen as "weak". Being "afraid" is nonexistent in Russian power games.

2. Chock-full coffers

At the moment, Russia has little to no external debt, more than half a trillion dollars in the reserves, and as you already know, the current petroleum prices are currently well above the magic Hendrix Number. Yeah, and I also forgot to mention that Europe is completely dependent on Russian gas. Nord Stream 1 is still very much functioning even though the Ukraine crisis has halted Nord Stream 2.

3. Ineffective Sanctions

It's becoming very obvious by the day that the sanctions repeatedly applied by the West don’t really bite nor have any strong effect on the Russian Federation in its totality.

4. Chinese Alliance

China is the world's number one economic power at the moment and is currently billed to even surge higher. The Chinese recently entered a historic bilateral relations with Russia.

5. Fractured Opposition

Western societies are teeming with dissenters, skeptics, pro-Russian voices and persons hell bent on earning money and political capital by playing tango with the Kremlin. Even a past US President, Donald Trump praised Putin, calling his moves "savvy". Germany, Spain, Italy and France have all abstained from having any physical confrontation with Russia.

6. Nationalisation of the Elites

Russian political class is known to be secretly liberal and Western minded. If things don't go according to plan and the winds turn, a hurricane of massive defections may happen among those with foreign stashes, assets and whose family stay in the West.

Putin is definitely concerned about this. But, is he bothered about it? Well, it depends. The more sanctions are imposed, freezing of Russia's oligarchs out of their Western estates, holdings and enterprises occurs, the more their fate is tied to the President's survival.

New hot head Zazu Zeh may be in for a long thing after an old video of him caught as a thief resurfaced online.

The singer took to his Twitter account at around 9:05am and tweeted –

“Konji wey go cause disgrace, i reject am��”, probably in reaction to Oxlade’s leaked sextape that has been the talk of the cyberspace.

However, another user countered him and dropped the bombshell video. As at the time of this report, the Zazu Zeh singer has yet to react to the video which was dropped in the comment section of his tweet.

Reality is what you make of it; after all, it's all in your head. That notwithstanding, life goes on.

But, with life comes other comfortable and uncomfortable happenstances with far reaching consequences for individuals. Whatever you decide to call it, reality check is what it is.

1. Not all Relationships will Lead to Marriage

Self-interest rules from the beginning, and therefore it's easy to estimate how things are likely to turn out except something exceptional alters that course. This is to say that people can always tell where a relationship will lead from the beginning unless they're just exploring and casting a wide net.

The power of self awareness cannot be overstated or underestimated. Being self aware will always make you look out for your self-interest.

2. Personal Happiness is not Selfish

Admittedly, people do sacrifice their personal joy for the happiness of others. But, it's not a bad idea to look out for yourself if you need to.

The list is not organized in any particular order. From observation and popularity based on conversations in everyday parlance, "Merlin" is unarguably the most popular series in Nigeria.

DC's action packed comedic series debuted it's season finale last night and expectedly, it didn't disappoint.
