Hello. U mean u have sent the HRDC transcript to WES? Please please do share the outcome once released. This is because I am currently enrolled in the program but I'm yet to confirm from anyone if WES will positively evaluate the degree. Thank you CanadaPR: Hello, those seeking 2 or more certificates may want to register for HRDC.
Classes have resumed and supplementary registration closes on Friday. The Form is just #7500.
We just rounded off and we are currently expecting our ECA report.
You may want to register and join classes while you wait for an update on our evaluation outcome.
It could also be a great backup for those enrolled in other programs as classes are for Saturdays only and tuition is not required immediately. |

Sorry about your loss Sis. Stay strong. Rainbow baby coming soon. Hugs Blackfinegirl: I have been a silent follower.
let me drop my transcript here.
I applied via drop box to renew my usa visa and I stated I was going for medicals. 221g letter was sent to me and I rescheduled for interview. Unfortunately a week to my interview I had pre term labour at 6 months and they could not keep the baby since he was not up to 7 months. I reschedule my interview due to health reasons after delivery.
Today I went for my interview at Abuja consular.
VO: When last did you go the usa. me: 2013
vo: how long did you stay? me: 2 to 3 weeks
vo: for what ? me: Christmas holiday
vo: who do you know? me: my brother
vo: how did he get to usa: me: visa lottery
vo: I can see you wanted to stay for three months, why? me: so I explained how i lost my baby at 6 months just before the interview, so i rescheduled.
vo; what does you husband do, how much does he earn? me: I answered her.
vo: what do you do? me: answered
vo: I can see you earn ...... me; yes i do and my salary has been upgraded this month to......
vo: will you have a baby within the next two years? me: yes of course.
vo: will use like to give birth in the us me: yes, if doctors gives me the go ahead to travel, due to my history.
VO: What countries have you visited me: Uk,France, Spain, Luxembourg, Netherlands ,Belgium, Uae, Gambia, Benin rep..etc
vo: okay, i will be giving you this visa, please pay all your bills and do not accept any discount. get your itemized bills and all the necessary receipts. me: yes i will
me: I asked her if i needed to inform them when next I get pregnant, she said no, but i should declare it at the point of entry, and have enough funds to cover my treatment.
Thank you lord for this victory, and for doing something for me to wipe away my tears. |

What a sweet story. Congratulations! ty01: I guess so too. My 6 months + pregnant wife and I and two kids met a male VO and it was a success story; the four of us were granted the visa. I honestly thought he was going to deny us at some point as he kept on typing and typing and typing like forever and suddenly asked ‘you already had two kids in Nigeria, so why the US for this one?’ My wife was going to answer but I told her to allow me. So I responded by saying ‘well, we were already planning a beautiful vacation in Texas when we discovered we were going to have a baby and we were like what better way to have our last baby. Being the last pregnancy, hopefully, I intend to give my wife the best delivery experience ever and would love that our other kids witness it as well. I am hoping you wouldn’t deny us this anticipated beautiful moment - with a smile.’ The VO took a deep breath, typed briefly and then for the first time checked my passport. He asked if the UK visa on it was for family vacation as well and I answered in the affirmative. While he was typing yet again I bent towards my first son and whispered audibly, ‘ you’re going to America son’ the VO paused at this point and said I heard you while he smiled and then said ‘I have approved you visas bla bla bla.’ I rubbed her tommy, kissed her on the forehead before even telling the VO thank you. He then said safe journey and wishing you a memorable delivery. I may be wrong though, but my experience with the male VO was different, the other lady VOs denied every single person while we were there. |

Please can u explain further? Do u mean if you get Canada ppr as a family, ur US born child will be exempt? zoemummy: Not correct.
From experience, your US child won't get Canadian PPR. You choose Canada or US. No tri-citizenship as implied. |

Ok. Thank you. omohakin: At WAEC office, you will fill a request form indicating what you intend doing and all.
Write your WES reference number clearly on the scratch card and attach to your filled form. Remember to write a short note beneath the form requesting that the attached card be sent along side your result to WES.
With this, WES wouldn't require further verification from WAEC as they can do this on WAEC's website with the aid of the scratch card you provided. |

Really? Please which form is that? Cuz I'm about to go to waec. Thanks omohakin: Hello house,
This might be useful.
For those yet to evaluate their WAEC via WES. I took a leap of faith by attaching an unscratched card with my filled form and boldly wrote on the form that the card be attached with the result sent. WES accepted this and no further verification required. ECA to be ready 19days from now.
I decided to try out after someone here gave this suggestion.
It worked perfectly. Saved my precious time and money. |

I checked my baby's birth cert and address isnt on it. I'm lost o. Which address are u talking abiut? ibukunpops: After I read from this forum about address on Birth Certificate been an issue for Visa renewal, I headed down to Chicago, luckily i had planned a trip
I have two kids, one is 3 and the other 7months old, they refused to change the address for the 3yr old, infact they didnt want to change for my 7months old too but I insisted and said they are denying people visas in Nigeria because of it. They called different supervisors before they now changed the address to my naija address, i paid $19 for two copies.
So you can try to change it on your next visit, dont know the rule that will apply in the city you delivered.
All the best. |

Thank you! ozycy: if you plan to travel for vacation, select B1/B2 and make sure you travel for that vacation. if you don't intend to travel for vacation, you can go ahead and pick same B2 and wait for pregnancy to happen. If called for interview, explain your self. or you just wait till you are pregnant before reapplying if you still have some time left. |

Thanks OmoBendel24. I'm not even applying yet as visa is yet to expire for some months . Just occurred to me and thought to find out. Thanks again OmoBendel24: Select B1/B2.... True and safer. This however isn't an escape route for the famous 221g followup interview ish based especially on your previous birthing whether on a birthing visa or not!
But what is the primary purpose of applying for the visa at this time (just in case you get called in for an interview)? Put all these into proper consideration though. |

Hello House, Any thoughts on this, please. urblackpearl: Hello All,
When renewing via drop box (not pregnant but intending to use visa for birth if baby comes within the validity period of visa) should one select B1 or B2??
Note the previous visa was medical, used for birth 1st year (declared) and vacation 2nd year.
Thanks! |

Congrats. Please can u share size and cost of the accommodation?
[qquote author=Ayomiidele post=71234583]Since I have all the time in my hands waiting for my LO and in the spirit of giving back, I'll be sharing my experience. I arrived the dreaded Houston IAH 2 weeks ago with no issues with immigration and wasn't sent for secondary checking. The immigration officer even jokingly asked if I came in with gari, beans or egusi. I was just laughing thinking my Naija sisters don reach here. Kept my appointment at Dr X. Office the next day and paid his fees, epidural as well as hospital's fee. They don't give medal for pain so I came prepared for epidural. The accomodation I got is quite close to HNWMC and very comfortable. Mamas in the house, please from which store can I get bottle sterilizer with Nigerian voltage? I don't want to be using step down with it in Nigeria.
|

Lool. I agree her rich family members should bail her out. But She's sorry. Pls forgive her. [quote author=MamaOO post=69620880 Lmao. Congrats to both your sister and your mom in law. Good for them. But wait o, how do you know what I do? cos I’m here on Nairaland? if y’all are so monied, tell them to bail you out and not resort to public assistance. And yes, it’s my hard earned money and sweat. Even if I was working in the fields picking fruit for minimum wage under the scorching and it’s a dollar or even a cent taken out of my paycheck as taxes, it’s still my goddamned money. I worked for it, so don’t come here acting all high and mighty, talmbout how your family is Dangote, Otedola and Buffet rolled into one. You asked a question, we answered. Now you’re getting your panties in a bunch. You’ll be alright. Go and pay your bills, or take the Medicaid (that was your intent all along anyways) Ma’am. And FYI: Medicaid is not “to help people who at that moment CANNOT NOT WILL NOT afford to pay their medical bills”. It is to “provide health coverage for some low-income people, families and children, pregnant women, the elderly, and people with disabilities. In some states the program covers all low-income adults below a certain income level.” All of whom must be LEGAL RESIDENTS.
|

Wow congratulations Sis!
I am Here to thank God Almighty:
Firstly for seeing me through my baby delivery days. Yes this is my second delivery and last one. The first was a Boy virginal and the second are triplets(2boys & a Girl)
The first time was a smooth sail. I did not realize how merciful God can be. Everything was already sorted by my Husband and uncle in the states.
For the triplets it was a drop-box also easy, however the coming back and settling the bills was a mountain I cant believe I scaled. Please Praise the Lord with me d 3 babies came out Via CS healthy NO incubator bill($1,500/night/baby).
Paid $320 for 2 of my babies and I found out that the 3rd baby would have to buy a specialized car seat and pay almost $2,000 for a one-way trip. Praise the Lord again for me ooo. I found a distant uncle coming to Naijs for a month leaving on the same day we were leaving. That how we paid only $220, can u imagine cheaper than the 2 going with us.
POE- The CBP officer asked us how long we were here for,(I and DH came in on the different days however we had same experience) DH said he will be around for 2 months and I will be around for 4months plus.
CBP asked no question about payment or all, just sent us to Agric section, we came in via LAX around 2pm with Virgin Airlines. He stamped us in. |

AroOkigbo: And so DW was delivered of our baby- a boy, on Feb 10. To God be the glory for a safe and successful delivery. She and baby were discharged 2 days after. I wanted to know from the nurse who took baby's data how soon we can get the birth certificate and she was like, it usually takes 30 to 60 days but you can start calling this number (she gave me a list of numbers) in 2 to 3 weeks. LA (or do I say, California) mums, abeg how long did it take you to get your babys' birth certificates? Can this be expedited? We didn't plan staying so long after child was delivered. This state is damn too expensive to continue to stay. Got ours after abt 11 days im LA. On day 10 pls call d number to find out if its ready. We did that and once they confirmed we picked up the next day |

I think it depends on the period. mine was in December. many thanks! |
