On a reflective mode

WHAT could be wrong with Isco.

He was promising at the start to the extent Ozil was sent packing to shine in Arsenal in his favor.

Oddly he is warming the bench the more.

Letter sent by the President of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez, to Joseph Blatter at 12:23 p.m.

Dear President,

We were surprised to read your remarks concerning our player Cristiano Ronaldo and his chances of being crowned Ballon d'Or and FIFA Player of the Year winner; this has caused great disappointment among the Real Madrid family because these misguided and unacceptable comments were made by the President of World Football's leading Authority.

On the one hand, they are unfair because they are made about a player who is respected the world over by millions of fans, and not just Real Madrid supporters. He is undeniably one of the greatest footballers that the world has ever seen. The comments are also disrespectful to him as a person as, on the other hand, he embodies sporting values in the eyes of society which is in genuine need of the kind of example that he sets; finally, it is our understanding that your remarks may determine the vote of those whose responsibility it is to decide on the winner of this accolade.

We, at Real Madrid, a club which has a special connection with FIFA in view of our position as a founding member, are profoundly disappointed by the whole episode and, as President of Real Madrid, I want you to know that we condemn your comments, which is why we would ask that you retract them to make up, to the extent possible, for the damage caused both to the player and the institution that we represent.

Yours Sincerely,
Florentino Pérez

Letter sent by the President of FIFA, Joseph Blatter, to the President of Real Madrid, Florentino Pérez, at 16:12 p.m.

Dear President:

I received your letter earlier today and was surprised by the content contained therein.

Firstly, I would like to point out that at the ceremony held last Friday at Oxford University, no discussions were held about the aspirations of any player with regard to the FIFA Ballon d'Or. At the end of my speech, and in response to a question about Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, the moderator asked me to choose between the two and, at that moment in time, having stated that Messi is the kind of son that any mother would like to have, I finally gave his name. However, I would like to make it quite clear that it is my opinion that Cristiano Ronaldo is at the same level as Messi and that both are extraordinary players, each in his own way.

I regret that this situation at a university ceremony has caused you so much distress and I would like to apologise for it. It was never my intention to cause discomfort or show a lack of respect to Real Madrid FC, one of it players or its support, not only because it is the founding club of FIFA but also because it is a club that I have followed and admired since I was a child.

Kind Regards,
Joseph Blatter.

Yahoo1: on point ......but i guess Carlo is still looking fo his best 11 nd tactics....

Don't you think Carlo was protecting his own ego? maybe he was afraid that if he played Pepe as DMF,people will say he is usingesse Maureena 's Tactics.....and you know Jesse is Loud mouthed, look what he said to benitez when Inter won the club world cup.
What he was trying to avoid was what he eventually passed across as the message.

play your best CB as added cover for the defence.
he however executed it woefully. Jose had used Pepe in that role before the classico as a test run. Carlo in his own case used the classico as the test run (very dumb idiot).

Luckily he was now hidding behind the overlooked penalty as an excuse for loosing forgetting that Pepe also fouled Cesc in our own 18 yard box.

He should just stick to his gut feeling and not try to please the white house "always".
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: R36L Madrid - Most Successful & Greatest Champ15ns of Spain, Europe & W9rld by usbcable(op): 12:35pm On Oct 27, 2013
When those three musketeers deemed it fit to sell ozil they made it seem isco will do the bidding in the big games.

but since they have paid a monstrous money for bale they could not afford to bench him in the first classico.

sadly ego was considered over reason.

the midfield was just too thin to cope and instead of swicthing Ramos position with that of Pepe he made someone that has played the defensive midfielders role to be the CB and moved a Ramos to the midfield. Ramos was totally lost he neither defended nor acted as shield for the defence.

and why play ronnie as the central striker. he performs better on the flanks against barca with benzema as the nine.

make carlo no worry by January dem go soon giv am sack letter. angry

Mcleo007: Footnotes here for me:

1. I am very glad we notched the full points. Its very important, at least, for the sake of staking to the early bragging rights.

2. The coach got his starting line up on point. Deploying Messi on the flank was my biggest wish. He was able to attract pointing heads from the centre, which in turn freed the midfield and Cesc in particular.

3. Barca owned the first half. Although Madrid came into the game late, they were simply no match for the tie.

4. Neymar shines in his first classico! More to go.

5. The coach got his subs on point. He brought on Song when we needed him (a double pivot in the middle), when the midfield was crashing. Although, his touches on the ball were poor, HIS effectiveness off the ball was what mattered in the end.

6. Iniesta lost us the midfield battle in the second half. Did anyone notice that 70% of Madrid's claim to the ball in the second half came through Iniesta? He gripped the ball more than necessary. He was duly subbed.

7. Penaldo's claim of a penalty was way off the mark. Infact, it was a 30-70 situation. In truth, he dived.

8. THIS IS THE BEST CLASSICO WE HAVE WITNESSED IN RECENT MENTION. THE GAME WAS PLAYED IN GOOD FAITH AND WITH GOOD BLOOD a la Moanrhino. Good thing the SHITTY ONE is gone cheesy. The Classico glamour is back. Did you guys see the spirit of the players from both sides? Penaldo went to salute Sir Puyi after the game. that is how the game should be, devoid of hate and strife.

9. sHOUT OUT TO THE REAL MADRID FANS, they gave a fight, but the Barca entity was too much for them.

10. Bale is not Madrid quality. I doubt he will ever shine in the white colours of the capital club.

11. Pique was a trojan in defence. He won every battle put before him. I hope his detractors here will give him a break
I go do like say I no see 1 - 8.

as per 10, Bale is a good player. but he is being rushed unduly by the white house which will eventually sell him back to totenham hotspur at half the price.
this wil off course when they use him at the wrong place at the wrong time like today

ortopazz: Well its obvious the better side lost
i would like to differ here.
First half we didnt play well
it was afetr he took Ramos and Bale off that things strted to look up.

Bale was played just to satisfy media. and it ended up as a collosal mistake.
I only hope it wont eventually be the bane of his demise as a promising star(Kaka,Sahin comes to mind)

BTW why Ramos in the middle. Pepe does that stuff better and he never tried this out before now so why use this match as the testing ground beats me.

Aint sad nor disappointed. Only pained that it was exepcted and it eventually came to pass.

philfearon: It was like i knew What was going to happen against Osasuna, and that was why i referred to that match in 2012.....
If most of u followed Osasuna like i did,you wouldnt be surprised by the End result of that Match..
I wouldnt lay the blame on anybody, but i would say that it was not Fabregas' day...People miss chances worse than he missed...If anyone really followed that match with no prejudice,u wil realise that the coach was partly to blame for that Match...Neymar{instead of Fabregas},should have retained his Messi-like role, and Tello should have started on the left Wing, I mean,Tello didnt go for any international, did he? Iniesta should have been rested, and Fabregas would have been better off operating from his normal position...If one saw clearly,I for once missed Alexis Sanchez in that match{dnt knw for others}...
Montoya was totally in mess, but i blame it on lack of game time and overhyping{come on guys,Montoya will never reach the standard of Bartra, not to talk of Alves..Barca shud ofload him now that his price is high, and give that Bagnak guy a chance..from what i have seen,he is much better, although not all that attack minded}..
.....
I dont want to talk about the Milan Match,so i will jump to El Classico:
In 2009,R.madrid hired a new coach,Pellegrini..In his debut El Classico,Barca won 1 - 0...Messi didnt score,but a certain new buy{Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored}...
..
In 2010,R.Madrid hired another coach{Mourinho},and in his debut El Classico match,Barca won 5 - 0..Messi didnt score again,but a certain new buy{David Villa} got a brace for himself,alongside other debutant{Jeffren}....
...
In 2013,R.Madrid hired another new coach{Carlo Anceloti},and there is another new buy{Neymar Jnr} in Barca in the same year 2013......
So,is anybody thinking what am thinking?
@ bolded

Barcelona will be thunked silly. MARK MA WERDS.
