am at a loss here is it joy at RM loosing or sadness at being dissapointed at JM loosing to barca again. |
"We said neither winning against Barcelona and having a 6-point cushion, nor losing and being tied in points, would make us lose our calm. Winning makes you happier than being defeated, but that's different to losing balance. I wouldn't swap the situation we're in with anyone's: we're the best team in the history of the Champions League group stage and no other side has as many points as us in La Liga, having played one less game in the competition. There are only three possibilities for us: we either draw in points with Barcelona, or top the table with a one or three-point cushion over them. I wouldn't exchange that with anybody." "We're all in the same situation in the Copa del Rey, while in La Liga we have an advantage over every side save those who've played one more game. The 32 teams in the Copa have the same chances of winning the title. These championships are different. I understand the motivation of our opponent tomorrow will be greater, but we'll have to try to bring them down having a performance like the one we gave in Murcia last year. We played a serious game then and drew the clash, experiencing many difficulties with many of our regular starters. Real Madrid's recent history has seen the team struggle against teams from lower divisions, just like other First Division teams have. The match against Ponferradina will most likely be complicated." "Fabio faced Ajax and Barcelona and won't play tomorrow. The same goes for Alonso and Benzema. Di Maria is suspended. But we'll have Cristiano, Ramos, and footballers who have to play. We'll have a team capable of at least earning a result that gives us the chance to seal the round at home, if not of sentencing the tie right away. I haven't seen most of the men who played on Saturday. They've had yesterday and today off because they are extremely hard and serious workers. Those on my squad list are ready." "Arbeloa wasn't fit on Saturday, but was on the bench anyway because I felt he'd be delighted to give me 20 or 25 minutes if needed. But he's not ready to play, although he's getting better and I believe he'll play one of the other two remaining games left before Christmas. I hope he fully recovers from the problem he's had since he returned from Costa Rica." "Varane, Altintop and Sahin will be starters tomorrow due to necessity. With each new day I increasingly feel Varane will be a starter at Real Madrid in the next 10 years. He is a great player and only 18 years old; it seems we sometimes forget just how mature he is both personally and in football. The other two need to play because they recently recovered from injuries. Every minute is crucial to them. They'll play." "I'm motivated to see my name next to Miguel Muñoz's as the only ones in history to have 15 straight victories with Real Madrid. Of course it motivates me. We're leaders in the Champions League and co-leaders in La Liga. This is such a great and successful club, It's won so many titles and has such dimension that every defeat seems to be a problem. The fault lies with the incredible dimension this club has on a social level. But I'd rather lose our last game and be leaders with the chance of becoming sole leaders next Saturday. I wouldn't swap my place with anyone's." "I only spoke to my players for five minutes before training. I explained to all of them, including those who will make their debut in the Copa del Rey, the history of this club in the competition and the problems other First Division sides have experienced against teams from lower divisions. I wanted them to know just how difficult tomorrow's game will be." "Our match against Sevilla will also be very difficult. We've had an extremely difficult run in November and December: we played the derby at home, the Clasico also at home, travelled to Valencia and Gijon, These two months have been tougher on us than on anyone else, but our main objective still lies ahead. We'll be sole leaders if we win in Seville, and it would be good to achieve that at this stage. We'd be leaders if we only took one point." jose mourinho@realmadrid.com |
^^^ they likely will be friends but its hard showing it outside. cos of so many factors marketing security image publicity |
kobikwelu:tell 3 clubs in which a good coach leaves them and the status was same as the last coach. about the youth system we call it the castilla and it has never been better in a long while and we still have players coming out playing for us(arbeloa, granero, callejon, adan, jese). and bros sanchez no be spanish academy player. and the bolded is soo short sighted a comment. ask your self the average age of real madrid or the stats of the team over the last 16 months, then you will know that the future is bright and should be properly nutured too by its originators(perez/mourinho) |
Fellywood:yes I don hug the transformer and i no die wetin next. ![]() |
AjanleKoko:bros i know its mere fan talk. but you sometimes wish the story was a winny binny tinny different ![]() |
eyoniggar:just as i said MORALLY he can be pardoned but TECHNICALLY he deserves a red card. i really dont fancy talking of the red card, ços you barker fans sought of make it look like us making it an excuse for the loose so i vote messi was treated right |
PRESS PASS I wont advocate that Messi be sent off. it brings some more controversy to the whole story. but we all know deep down within our church minds that if it was Ronaldo he would have been issued the second yellow and consequently a red card. but the ref. is still morally justified not to send messi off for the challenge on Alonso. Why? he got booked for a something he said out of emotion. and about Barca being better. results says it all. barca is better. but the unreasonable view you hear all around is that: -mou is a bad coach -real madrid are a bunch of individualistic players that dont worth being describe as a team -rea madrid played awfully -RM has never beaten barca talkless without controversy. -ronaldo is a shitty player not worth considering a great player.(although he was really shitty on saturday) |
Pharoh:GBAM Pharoh:lass tried but was outruned and out passed by their midfield. our attack line dint retract back enough to provide cover for the midfield IMO most especially CR7 Pharoh:Obviously busquets is not better. And your second comment shows that when CR7 was totally suffering from amnesia of football, the others should have been braver to take decisions too. the way they play and the way we play is different. we are not a pass pass pass team. our attack line was not just mobile enough in defensive duties. Pharoh:but the few minutes kaka played showed his true ability(not taking anything from ozil sha o).and neither did marcelo nor coentrao overlap that much. the first and second goals came through the middle. our left wing had always been our strongest asset and it was failing due to the absence of marcelo upfront and the ineptitude of Cris. Pharoh:Just as you said it was working. If(I now hate this word) only one of those beeging chances were converted earlier on, the story might have been different. i dont see any problem playing from the wings if that is what we know how to do best. they like to pass from defence to attack and they still stuck to it even when valdes was apprehensively and ''apere'' Ronaldo is effective from the wing and centre he just forgot his brain at home saturday night. Fixing the midfiled work ethics and attitude of the team when facing barca will work too. Pharoh:bros, we cant change everything just because we lost to barcelona. it had worked in all our past matches even when we were loosing. even as much as i feel like kicking CR in the blockos for his show of shame on saturday I still will choose him Pharoh:we will still try again come next year. and all tthese journalist go still hype the match and hopefully we will win with a Ronaldo hatrick ![]() HALA MADRID |
Fellywood:its not compulsory to show stupi.dity by posting stu.pid sentences. |
Sandro Rosell I hope he gets to loose in the next election. The guy is anything but a gentleman. "I know what I'm going to say is politically incorrect, and I apologise in advance, but we have given them a bath. I want to say it because it was fabulous, the whole world has seen that at playing football this is the best team in the world." Continuing to take digs at Real, Rosell said: "We're becoming used to coming here [to Real] and getting good results. why say it in the first place. he can keep the apologies to himself. stupid |

AjanleKoko:Market was bearish. although the closing price for the stock was at par with the average market value. ![]() Forecast for next week by BA's says it should go bullish once more(by at least one basis point or most likely three basis points) before close of market for the christmas break ![]() |
Kx:Sorry about your weekend. Its just a game but important like every other 3 point game. You can win or loose a season with just one point. The el classico will always be hyped by the media. and this last one was different because of the great form of RM and barca going into the match. Madrid cant de-emphasize winning against barca because its an ego thing. The league and ucl is always the overall objective but loosing to barca makes it less ''shinny''. next year we will once more try again. but for now the next objective is to beat ponfedirana and sevilla so as to go into the XMas break as league leaders and have an advantage for the second leg of the Copa match. medjai, even ronaldo knows he had never played a worse match than what he played yesternyt even mourinho knew that even casillas and the rest of the squad knows that we will get over it |
"The score is a consequence of football. This is a game. Luck always plays an important role. We could have scored a second goal when we were 1-0 up, and in normal circumstances we would have because Cristiano is fantastic and nets his shots. The game would have been different then. We gave a balanced performance in the first half and Barcelona scored a very lucky goal in the second half. We had a chance to net an equaliser the following minute. It looked like the ball was in, but it wasn't. Then, they dominated psychologically and were able to play their usual touch football. We also had a chance to net a second strike and bring the score up to 3-2, but due to luck, not merit, their goalkeeper cleared a shot by Kaka. That's why I believe luck made a difference, but I do not wish to deprive Barcelona of merit." "Barcelona's first goal was similar to others we've conceded to them. I don't like it when one of my men in midfield tries to take the ball and then follows a an effort typical of our adversary. I understand it when players are scared. It was a divided ball and you always see a yellow card when you go for it 50-50. We reacted to their second goal, which was circumstantial. We had a chance to draw the game 2-2 and then to cut distances to 3-2. We reacted unsuccessfully, but we reacted nonetheless. We only experienced one problem in the last 15 minutes. We had none in the first half. We had a better start to the match and that conditioned it. I'd choose that as a key moment." "I'm sad and calm. Before the match I said we were emotionally stable. One is obviously happy when one wins, and sad when one loses. We're still stable. We have the same points and one less game to play than Barcelona. Winning in Seville would make us leaders by the Christmas break. We lost a game but have the same points as our main challenger. We'll remain leaders by winning in Seville." "I thought at the time that Messi should have been sent off for his tackle on Alonso, but the referee saw it better than I did because I was 40 or 50 meters away. I don't want to make any sort of criticism without watching it on TV because I may be unfair and I don't wish to be. Many of my players have been wrongly sent off before." "I decided to use two defensive midfielders because we faced them at home. We wanted to be more offensive, like we were in the first half. I also though Ozil would be very productive at home. Numbers make it easier to understand certain things. The team that wins the most games does so for being better than its opponent. That's on a pragmatic level. In time, we forget about Pepe's red card or Higuain's goal. We won a final against Barcelona, and that's more important to me because these games don't win you anything. Nevertheless, it's true that Barcelona have won against us more often and that's because they've managed to be stronger." "I'm here speaking to you today because my team lost. I didn't want my assistant coach to deal with this. The press conference would have been calmer with a victory, but we lost and there was no doubt in my mind that I'd be here now." jose mourinho@www.realmadrid.com |
