FarahAideed:It's disheartening and terrible to say the least. In as much as I do not condone negative remarks and utterances against my country, Nigeria, but sometimes, it looks as if those utterances are playing out for real. My humble submission concerning this very nation as it is now is - God pls have mercy on Nigeria. Heal this nation from every colonial, ancestral and present day curses respectively. If disintegration is the only solution for our children and posterity to enjoy life legitimately let it come faster on your terms and conditions in Jesus name. Amen. I weep for Nigeria

Well done bro. May God give you more creative ideas to invent stuff that'll benefit humanity. Graçias! |
Sometimes I wonder who has bewitched some of us in NL based on reactions to threads. Common that a faceless group from the north issued a statement (even if it's Arewa or NEF) some folks here are already panicking and pleading. As long as the rest of the regions/tribes continue to tremble at every sneeze or cough from the north, they (north) will continue to hold the entire Nigerians in ransome. What happened to their last ultimatum to the Southerners? It wasn't because the federal government pacified or dissuaded them from carrying out their threat. They also know that Nigeria of 2019 is not same with Nigeria of 1967. So, stop all this apologetic posts here. Let them cut off all ties with the SW and vice versa, and let see who will suffer more. Nigeria belong to all of us and it's our duty to make it work or disintegrate it if that's the only option. God bless Nigeria and everyone that meant well for this nation. |
Same yesterday, in that Enugu- Port Harcourt express (precisely along Ogbaku town, before the UNTH Ituku OzallaEnugu), the same group kidnapped H.R.H. Igwe Sunday Orji and his wife. He's the traditional ruler of Obom autonomous community of Agbogugu Town, Awgu L.G., Enugu State. I heard today that they're demanding #60mil for both of them. It's disheartening to say the least. The hour has come for the timely intervention of the God who rescued Nigeria and Nigerians from the hands of late Sanni Abacha in Jesus name amen. |
MikeBetty:The MACBAN were invited on the capacity of a Socio-Cultural group within Nigeria. I read recently a news where MACBAN were described as a social cultural organization. So I think that's the capacity they're invited. This is a very crafty subtle move by the powers on top to change the identity, perception and position of the MACBAN before Nigerians forgetting that history cannot be easily forgotten. The rest of Nigerians are not fools to swallow such a bitter pill from the owners of Nigeria Plc! |
nwamabo247:Brother it's a pity that you found yourself in such a condition. Sorry. No young man or woman would wish to be incapacitated (physically, financially, etc), unable to fend for himself/herself and others. I suggest the following to you: 1. Don't loose hope. Put your faith in Christ Jesus and continue to seek divine intervention ie healing. 2. You did not state the means anyone who wants to help can do that (account number). 3. Find a way to reach Awgu L.G. chairman (Mr. Stanley Okeke a.k.a. Atu Ogbaku). Don't limit your solicitation for help here only. Your account, pls. Remain blessed, bro. |
Mutteeme:I'm proud of her and every other Nigerian that's committed in making the world a better place. We've all it takes to be reckoned with the great nations in the contemporary time if only tribal, partisan, religious hatred and love for mediocrity are exterminated in Nigeria. Look at how foreign nations are picking Africans (Nigerians, Kenyans, etc) to be part of their transformation agents without minding their countries of origin, but here in Nigeria a president find a taboo to appoint people perceived to be his enemies even when they can do a good job that'll will move the country forward. I've determine to be an agent of positive change anywhere I find myself and I'm enjoying it already. Proudly Nigerian! |
You're right! The only thing the Deputy Probate Registeral, my State High Court told me in respect to my late dad's bank account was to bring a death cert with #2,6000. Upon arrival with the said amount, my mum and one of my younger sisters, it turns out there's many others processes to go through which you may not know until start it. Thanks for sharing |
Personally, I've stop being perturbed by not only the comments, but by the perceived genetic attitudes of some guys here though it is expected in a multi-tribal online forum as this. I applaud the owner of this forum. May God bless you and your family. I may not know your in-depth intent of creating this 9ja based digital social platform but still God bless you! For sometimes now, I've refused to affirmed the assertions of some folks who vehemently believe that Nigerian youths may not be architectures but the fans of those who destroy this nation. What's my point? As much as I don't like Nnamdi Kanu's modus operandi since his inception of Ipob, I've come to conclude that he's truely a tribalistic which no other individual from other tribes have muster the courage to project in recent history of Nigeria. We don't have Nigerian youths, we only have tribalistic youths! Check both the intent and posts of many people here, it's more of my Yoruba, Ibo, or Hausa/Fulani, eyltc. Many youths on this forum from different tribes know the possible consequences based on the trajectory Nigeria is heading if the Almighty God does not intervene, but due to fear, cowardice, foolishness, prejudice and ethnocentric and nonchalant will not stand to defend the truth that will uphold the peace and unity of this nation. Pls! pls!! Pls!!! Can we use this platform to correct the anomalies of our forebears? God bless everyone that loves the wellbeing of his fellow human! |
35824L:Where's your conscience for crying out loud? This is a sad news about a fallen hero fighting for the entire Nigerians (many of them though). All you could searched out from your brain to post in regard to his death is the above heartless post. He may not be my blood brother, but he's a human like me. You mustn't fan the ember of tribal war with every thread especially one like this. |
[quote author=ijustdey post=80468997]https://dailypost.ng/2019/07/20/ruga-buhari-left-governor-lalong-public-disgrace-hon-kaze/ The man, Hon Kaze is intelligent and wise going by his argument against the biased RUGA Policy. This is the first time I read a well articulated wise fact based argument in disfavor of RUGA. Among many interesting things he said was that the federal government claimed (I'm paraphrasing) that this ungodly policy is to end farmer/herdsmen clashes once and for all, but this is a conflict of two stakeholders in the nation. The farmers have as much right as the herdsmen in Nigeria and vice versa. Why then should the police y that's meant to bring peace be always favorable to one party? The policy is one sided indeed! My question then is, are the MACBN the outrightly owners of this entity called Nigeria? |

Hey guys before you complain or wail on behalf of Dangote, Otedola, and the likes, reread the thread again. This guy is not trying to show that he has money more than anybody! He's inventing his own media image in the society by his unique ways of entering social events. On the other hand he has created temporal job for those men carrying him hence they're ok with that. |
[quote author=desiredhome post=80341557]It's people like you that this advise is for, before you were born there had been herdsmen and cattle realing in Nigeria and even all over the world, and people were getting along and living in peace, until this recent time of hate and propaganda from the East especially that are fronting this hate since they failed election and for hate you have for the President. If you so hate others and their business yet you want to do business and stay in other people's territory? are you such a greedy/selfish that only care for yourself and don't mind the consequence of your action on others? I need clarification sir on the following from your post: 1. Which election did the East failed? 2. How have they (the East) hate others and their business? How have their business jeopardize the live or properties of others? 3. Is renting a shop based on mutual agreement between a tenant and landlord in any part of the world and carrying herds of cattle into people's farm land the same? In most cases when the owners of the farms complain, the community is attacked by the herdmen. God is the just judge and he'll surely judge those that are destroying this nation whether from the north, South, East, west. His judgement will be Swift and will not tarry. |
An African adage says that where a child is crying and pointing at, it's either the father is there or the mother. For the first time, Nigerians from all tribe except few are pointing same finger to a particular group of people -herdsmen. Nigerians are not hating Fulani tribe but the actions of killer herdmen and the government nonchalant attitude towards the whole issue. For those that defending them, should the other tribes surrender their lives and ancestral homelands to the herdsmen for peace to reign? I just found out that many people are buying favor from the government and herdsmen to remain safe in this nation. God Almighty is the greatest security for individuals and for a nation. |
In my view, RUGA, Ranching, Cattle Colony, Nama Settlement, or whatever name the federal government wants to call it is just to officially endorse the intended ethnic cleansing of the Fulani Jihadists aka herdsmen to Nigerians. Herdsmen are already everywhere. Tell me any community or town (not state) in Nigeria they're not parading their cows and sometimes attack the community? Instead of the government curbing their menace, they want to constitutional established them in every nook and cranny of the nation. Look at it this way, without RUGA scores of Nigerians are dying in their various communities without any atom of resistance nor protection from their supposed government. No single arrest whatsoever from those beasts perpetuating this homicides. Now the same government decided as part of their constitutional responsibilities to the populace to use use the tax payers money to relocate the oppressors into the very midst of their victims. My take on all these nonsense, let all other tribes unite to fight this evil lurking around, let all religious body with different view rise against this imposition of wickedness, let all nairalanders and yeyebrities go out and protest so that it will be cancelled instead of suspension because whatever is in suspension mode can be lifted at any time by anyone. |
This is my tske in this matter: It's completely unfair to condem someone outrightly just because he or she is accused without any incriminating evidence or being proven in a competent law court. All the so called celebrities (morally bankrupt beasts) who are crucifying this man have no credibility whatsoever to lend their voices in this matter should moral upright be used as the parameter to voice your opinion on the matter. It's common in the society today to use rape accusation to tarnish the image of popular figures whether in politics, religion, entertainment, sports, etc. Let's learn how to voice our opinions in any issue like enlightend people, instead of this media trial every time. We shouldn't justify or or condem outrightly, let justice take it course. |
Keep it up. Our children and youths need serious sensitization on the consequences of wandering Europe through unreliable routes or people especially without any plan, clue, and enough resources to cater for his/her needs before miracle comes. |
For the folks advocating boycotting of church because some (never all) FAKE dudes who called themselves into church ministry are doing exactly what they came to do - I ask you these questions: 1. Do we boycott school because some teachers are abusing pupils and students respectively? 2. Should we stop doing good because some folks are doing evil in the society 3. If there is no original, there can never be fake in anything in this life. |
A thumb up for the writer before any other comment on the subject matter. We should learn to differentiate between prosperity and materialism. The former is God's perfect will for his children to walk in and enjoy, while the latter is the devil's counterfeit of prosperity. God is the God of prosperity? Before you shout heresy, ask yourself what is prosperity? According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, "prosperity is the condition of being successful or thriving; especially : economic well-being". Throughout the scriptures, God always delights in multiplication, increase, overflow, and replenishment of every good thing he does or commanded his people. Hence Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon, etc all lives in abundance of wealth and yet maintain their relationship with God. Check the following scriptures to know the difference between prosperity and materialism. I put it to folks that prosperity is not evil but materialism Deuteronomy 8:18, Genesis 9:1-8, Genesis 13:2, 26:12-28, Job 22:24, Psalm 35:27, 118:25, Job 36:11, 2Tim 6:17, etc). From the beginning in the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve never had any sense of lack and want until iniquity was found in them hence the beginning of poverty and struggling in this world. Therefore, poverty resulted from God's curse upon earth because of sin. This curse was reversed in Genesis 9 but was not attoned until Christ came. Statistically, crime rate is higher in nations and suburbs with high prevalent low socio-economic people, than rich and high socio-economic environment. Poverty is NOT God's will for his children, it's a curse. The problem with the subject of prosperity and poverty in christiandom and the world at large is extremism. Ignorance has made some folks to associate wealth and riches with the devil and going to hell. On the other hand, some people has concluded that poverty is a virtue and sign of Holiness. While another group equates riches as a sign of God's blessings and approval on a person and vice versa. This is my submission on this matter, God wants you to prosper in accordance with his word ie let your means or method of getting rich glorify God and better the lives of others and make heaven at the end of your journey on earth. Satan didn't want you to be rich but to destroy you in hell, but because he knows that you need money (who doesn't?), He lures people to do things that will make them end up in hell fire in other to get money now. Instead of criticizing the rich, mind your own business, discover God's ways of becoming rich, follow it and your story will inspire your generation. |
Oluwatosean:Check the story very well. She died of 'BRAIN TUMOR' She didn't commit suicide nor died of depression. |
Topmaike007:You're funny. However, that's the spirit of the submit.... Oneness! Nigeria for now is an indivisible entiry. |
Those with little or no vision beyond daily meal are the same crop of people that will never commend achievements of others tribe and religion inconsequential. I'm in this forum to learn, be inspired and to inspire others as well. I think some folks on NL shoyls re-examine their motive of joining NL. You can use your time and life for something better other than hiding to here igniting hatred, tribal and religious war. For goodness sake, know that whatever you criticise, you can't attract. Check the lives of critics... Barr Madu has made Nigeria and indeed Africa proud. It's only a low life that will not celebrate this, period! |
Ofemannnu:God bless you sir for making Nigeria and indeed africa proud in far away alberta, Canada. 9ja is blessed, it doesn't matter the desperation of some folks to tarnish the image of this great nation. |
Pls is Tonto Dike a member of NL? Because the way and manner almost everybody is advising and criticising her here....... People are really using their time well. |

I'll advise you cease from commenting negatively to posts like this because invariably you're activating a law that can work against you. I understand how you feel. I love you bro. |

Ejimagifty:God doesn't answer this type of prayer because your reasons has not convicted your accuser (Oyedepo) before God. I wonder why people some people will like a post where a fellow boldly called his parents stupid (and by extension theirs as well). I love you so much hence I'm forced to respond to your post. There are many things in life which you don't understand how it works, many things you don't have the ability to influence, etc, instead of displaying open frustration about those things, ignore them and ask God to help you to understand them as well as increase your ability to influence those things if need be. Love you bro. |

I've been trying to find a place in the bible where God directly or indirectly promoted physical poverty but have not found any. On the contrary, I've discovered that prosperity is actually God's will. In the course of trying to find scriptures that support poverty for as a sign of Holiness and approval from God, I arrived on the following conclusion; The work of salvation is incomplete without divine provisions. Throughout the scriptures, God's mandate to His people always follow up by divine provisions for the assignment starting from Noah in Gen 9:1-3, Abraham in Gen 13:1-6, Isaac in Gen 26:12-14, Jacob in Gen 30:43, 31, the children of Isreal Exodus 12, king David, Solomon, Job 36:11, Psalms 35:27, Zechariah 1:17, 2Cor 8:9, 9:8-10, 1Timothy 6:17etc. God always talk in terms of increase, multiplication, abundance, etc which are very much about prosperity. He knows that without wealth the destiny of His children will be jeopardized, His purpose on earth will be greatly hindered. Do you know how many genuine visions, dreams, destinies from God that have been lost and some are grounded never take because of financial constraints. Talk about Jesus, the scripture said there were certain women who ministered to him from their substances; he never had a any sense of lack. Lk.8:2-3 | KJV 2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, 3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance. The important of money in spreading of the gospel can never be over emphasized hence God said Ze.1:17 | KJV 17 Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem. Poverty is a curse which came after the fall of Adam, it's never God's will. If some preachers abuse the purpose of God's blessings and prosperity, that doesn't in any way makes it wrong for the church or children of God to be prosperous. I conclude with Deuteronomy 8:18. As for me and my family, we'll never be poor. I've tested poverty, it doesn't make one holy in any way. I've embraced prosperity in God's way. Hallelujah! |
JustmcKay:Migration is good but in 21st century people migrate with vision, plan, adequate information about the potential host country, reasonable fund to sustain them for sometimes before getting a job or stattistup a business. However, it may not necessarily work like that on all cases but its important one prepare before setting out. I've seen a lot of Nigerians that are millionares in different currencies without indulging in any questionable business. This idea of labeling every successful nigerian outside as a crook is wrong. Mozambique is a good place to live but consider the cost of living before coming. |
Mozambique single entry visa costs $50. A letter of invitation or a hotel reservation. Cost of living is a bit here there now unlike before. Get enough info before going there. |
