tamonokare:It takes high level of both spiritual and physical intelligence to deceive such multitude Adebayo has 'consistently deceived' for over 30 years. That's if he's truly fake as you and your type claimed. Let me advice you and your fellows who're hell bent on channeling their economic frustration and hardship on the Church and men of God. Channel your anger to your self and family for not being intelligent enough to offer any meaningful value that people can joyfully pay you for nor able to deceive a fraction of Nigeria population to part way with their money. Adeboye is fake, the church is fake, Jesus is fake, yet you that's is genuine live on rent free on nairaland just to vent your frustration on individuals and institution that neither receive any allocation from the national budget nor received any vote to be who they're. If to deceive people is easy, I bet you would have 'hammered' since because your heart is bitter. Finally, the appropriate people to channel your anger regarding the current hardship in Nigeria are your politicians. Hold them accountable because you voted for them to be in power. Blame game is the easiest game, hence mediocre plays it well. Constant blame on the church in Nigeria because of economic challenge doesn't make one a patriotic, but a fool. To such folks, "Nigeria is our country, to the political elites, Nigeria is our business" (Seun Kuti). Sorry, if I sounded harsh in my response. Adeboye is a father and grand father to someone. Respect beget respect. I'm not a regular guy on nairaland, so don't bother clapping back. I may not come on NL again soon. There are some sense in what I wrote, pick them and trash the rest. Wishing you the right mindset to win the ongoing economic war in 9ja. Cheers bro. |
michlins:The ordinary people of Nigeria that are willing to die in defence of their demigod politicians. How on earth can the political elites of less than 5,000 persons be oppressing more than 180,000,0000 people in same country? Obiano's financial networth before he became governor was not up to ₦2bn, but after 8yrs as a governor he's super rich. Ordinary Nigerian people are bunch of hypocrites. They'll cry under an oppressor, when you join them to fight the oppressors, they'll turn to betray you. |

SadiqBabaSani:That's one ugly thing about lying. It will eventually come back to your doorstep. With Uzodimma under APC, 4th position can become the 1st, but with Obi 3rd position has no biz with 1st position. However, I'm completely against people going to Army Hqts to beg for military coup. It's really bad. APC/ Tinubu's desperation should not drive sane Nigerians into self defeating action which will consume the whole nation beyond the damages done already by this current govt. |
Freshtruth:He's a software engineer, investor in football clubs, co-owner of the renowned Paystack. These does not include other unlisted streams of income. My point, he's doing well enough to purchase that 2nd division club in Denmark. |
Mindlog:I have come to the conclusion that having a president from your tribe or region or even your religion is not the cure for poverty and criminality in in your state, tribe or the nation in general, but having a God fearing and humanity loving man or woman in in power irrespective of his tribe or religion, even gender. How can over 70% of past Nigeria presidents came from the North, yet the region's poverty index is always on the high side? So all the fight to be in power has zero impact on the standard of living of average northerner. The bottom line, the elites will continue to loot the national treasure, while the poor masses will continue to sing and defend them just because he/she from my tribe/religion. Its disheartening. |
[quote author=2mercy post=121525922]https://saharareporters.com/2023/03/06/parishioners-boo-catholic-priests-campaigning-pdp-governorship-candidate-enugu-churches[/quot This is the video where many Catholic faithfuls at Ugwu Di Nso pilgrimage centre, Enugu State, openly rejected the drinks PDP governor's campaign team shared to them. Interesting days loading... |
Yamiriflathead:You're insanely bigot. People from other tribes/nations born in Lagos state or that have lived long there should not be given opportunity to contribute to the state because of election? Europe and western world should then strip all Yorubas residing in those nations and cities all the rights and privileges they're enjoying for living there. Barack Obama would have lost to Tinubu in Lagos state because he's from Kenya? Wake up to reality, Mr. Bigit |
This is exactly the reason behind most BAT supporters, outside his party members.

If the ibos are 'chest beaters' (for beating their own chest) according to some folks on nairaland, what do you call a segment of the country that has been drumming the chest of all NIGERIANS since 1960 with absolute impunity? Its a shame and disheartning to say the least how the Northern protectorate has been the major beneficiary of the national cake of this entity called Nigeria at the detriment and sometimes death of other Nigerians. |
Sometimes, sentiments (Tinubu defenders) and hatred (Tinubu haters) can becloud the rationale of even most enlightened folks. Prosecution does not mean automatic conviction. I've no doubt that the contents of the two bullion van belong to Jagaba even its cash, the only issue is if its cash, he violated the cash limit transaction for an individual pertime, not necessarily whether the money is his own i.e. if the content is money. |
SegFault:What the Righteousness guy got to do with this thread or the two proposed fighters? Whoever does not like his comments or views, should skip it or keep mute since he's not referring to you directly. I've observed lately here that some people are not comfortable with the guy's line of thoughts, but that shouldn't earn him all these 'coded' online bully. Don't worry, in the end we'll know whether he's been talking rubbish, or some minds have been rubbish. |
Hello dude, I bet, its actually God's mercy that inspired you to share your present predicament here bcuz He knows you've lost confidence in Him, church and close acquaintances, but here you'll get much desired sympathy, empathy and divers solutions towards lifting you out out of the valley of despondency and depressive stupor which no God or human was responsible for but you alone. So discard your resentment against any external entity. However, from the tones of responses so far, you can see that many people have similar or worse experience than you, yet we all are showing solidarity to you bcus we believe that what lies in your future is far greater than what you've lost. Garner the pool of advises you get here and sieve them and choose the ones congruent with your convictions and inclinations, then implement on them. Time does not he's any wound, it only reveal your actions or inactions towards healing your wound. Get into action towards self recovery. Finally bro, I tell you the truth, you're still far too young to even finish this course, go to service and still get a job here in Nigeria if that's what you need. Finally, finally, God's factor is very crucial, He can pick you from the bottom of the ladder of success and thrust you in the front without anybody questioning nor charging Him to court. Ask Joseph et al. Make peace with Him now( He never contributed to your problem but you've accused Him harshly on your self inflicted quagmire. I must say thanks to everyone who has proffer one solution or another to this 'ONCE' Young and Depress dude. After today, your story should change in Jesus name. |
Both Their elders, youths and ally MACBAN are the most parochial minded groups I've ever seen anywhere. Let them lead the arrest squad then I will take them serious. What punitive measure has they ever prescribed or recommended to the FG against the scourges of Boko Haram or Fulani Herdsmen? rather FG is rewarding them with overseas scholarship in the name of rehabilitation. Arewa whatever they call themselves are annoying. |
I cant tell wether the story is true or not, but three things in my view are clear about the current govt of Enugu state: 1. Clueless 2. Sidelined anyone with willing heart and innovative ideas that move the state forward 3. Listens to cheap gossips 4. etc |
Reckless driving is one of the causes of high accidents rate in Nigeria. But the two baseline causes are our very bad roads and complete irresponsibility of FRSC, VID, and other similar vehicle roadworthy inspection agencies with regards thorough examination of both drivers and vehicles prior to hitting the road or afterwards. When both the roads and the drivers are sound, then, we can know when accidents beyond human control happens. For now, it's majorly man made (avoidable) accidents. |
majamajic:Hahahaha. Try it here, some folks will turn it into their apartment. Anyway, we're getting there... |
This one of the best piece of write up I've read here. Those with negative energy, wouldn't appreciate this story, but it goes a long way in refuting the almost generally accepted notion that the society and it's institutions has degenerated into irredeemable valley of decadence. We still have good men and women everywhere; its pays to be good. Thanks for sharing this story. |
Nowenuse:It's really pathetic. |
Strica:I concur with your submission above. You're right. |
Karac:Kk. Cheers |
armadeo:Their matter don taya mi here. |
OoniOfIfe:They'll commit suicide because a lady sang Timaya song? I honestly don't understand how Nigerians have condescended to this level of unproductive reasoning? And people are liking it. Sometimes, our values are revealed in our unguarded expressions. I'm a Nigerian, an African and a global citizen. I've desisted from deliberate thoughts and actions that would endanger the joy and peace of others race, religion and socio-economic status inconsequential. |
Emma911:Cardi B's concert comparison? What do you intend to gain or achieve by this, if not to spark off another online war bw Nigerians and Ghanaians. I pray you to use your data for something more useful. Cheers! |
sodiqapril:Oga i echoo your sentiment about the current regime, but you're way too harsh on your reference to barbeque. |
9ja dudes are not being fair this time oo. The guy that started the comparison is a gross slowpoke. How does hosting one amorous American musician become an achievement especially in this 21st century when other nations are itching for the newest industrial revolution. AKA did not call out to 9ja or their guest. Yet people are here bashing SA and AKA for responding to a troll. I'm not understanding |

Strica:I share same sentiment with you on this very matter. Our leaders will rather make it a tribal matter instead of a concerted effort to exterminate a monster threatening the whole nation. |
