Northwest is the ancestral home of poverty in Nigeria, can you imagine that Sokoto state has a poverty rate of 91% going by the National Bureau of Statistics data of 2022, which means out of every 10 people in Sokoto, 9 can not afford the simple basics of life and would be looking up to one person for help.☹️
