I have been asking questions about doing a masters program in Aus and someone in the house advised me to go through PR

I have gone through the list and I and my hubby fall on the CSOL list ( customer service and for him sales manager) although his also into this football scouts so I don't know if he will have better chances if he applied under sport administration than a sales manager?

I also want the gurus in the house to help me with a link on where/ what steps to follow as per documentation.

We want to write PTE and we don't mind reading materials because my ielts scores where not so fantastic.

As a family of 5 in my opinion, if 800,000 is what u will have budgeted for spending on the trip after paying for flights and accomodation then yes it will be enough since its a 7 day vacation. However, if thats all you have to budgeted to cover up your all the expenses; I would strongly advice that in order to enjoy your holiday, you will need way more than 800,000 budgeted. Thank you.

Good evening gurus, please I want to apply for SA visit visa with my family (5) three children, hubby and I. We don't know how much should be in my account since hubby monthly income is low and I earn better so am planning to use my company introduction letter that am going on vacation along with my 3 months pay slip, tax card, offer letter and promotion letter and my pension statement up to 1m, 3 months statement of access, do you think is enough for the application with out my husband document since am applying as the main applicant.

Please house how much do you think we need for a 7 days vacation and do you think we have better chances is our first time of traveling out side Nigeria Let's say I have 800,000 will it be enough?

Please I need to ask some question concerning visitors visa to Germany, my brother in-law lives in Germany and his married to a white lady with a child, he already has his permit since he could come home and sent his mum for omugwo when his wife gave birth. I and my family want to visit him as family vacation and we want him to invite and sponsor us family of 5 (hubby, wife and 3 children) which is not a problem for him.

My question is how much should I have in my account to show that we can take care of our self irrespective that we will be in his house and all that, secondly i have a better job than hubby so am using my company introduction letter, payslip, tax card, pension statement up to 1m , offer letter and promotion letter. What else do you think we can add to the list or is it good enough?although my statement is not big enough but i want the house to help with the actual amount that will convince a Vo to give us visa.

Finally i hope hubby not bringing his own statement or job papers will not hinder our chances.

N/B: This is our first time of travelling out of the country

His sister was refused visa last year in the ground that she never visited the hubby in the UK and she's applying to visit the Brother with her child hope it wont affect us.

I really need help on cheap school to do my postgraduate studies , I have communicated to Edith Cowan school and their fees is high for my budget, I also checked uni of central Queensland but was confused with their fees so I need anyone that applied and got admission to the schools to guide me.

I also have some issues which I will like the gurus to help me with I just wrote IELTS and got overall band of 6 although I didn't finish my reading test which made the mark low here is my score

speaking 7.5
listening 6.0
writing5.5
reading 5.0 overall band =6.0 am so depressed and confused can I get a school that will take the result ? I came out with 2.2 but not so wonderful GPA and most schools in western Europe said I should do an art course instead of MSC on business.

I wanted to go through skilled select but my course is not listed rather is in the other CSOL but I don't know how to go about with that one.
someone advice me to go through school since the idea is to move with the family for PR purpose.

please can anyone help guide me on what and cheaper school with good record of acceptance that I can apply for any other useful information will be highly appreciated.

Abeg anyone if you apply online to any of this colleges how long does it take to be notified that you got the admission? Why am asking is northern Europe sch is saying till 5 months later the course deadline has closed so am trying to compare to know if Canada is better.

I read Cooperative economics and Management just got a CS job that's all, I tried skilled select didn't see anything relating to that may that was part of the reason i didn't qualify .

I believe Customer Service is on SOL/CSOL

I doubt that there is a University Course called "Customer Service" (I may be wrong) So, I guess if the first Degree you have was Customer-centric and as such, can be related to your 7year Customer Service work experience, you may have a good chance. #JustSaying

Check the assessing body requirements though.

You really can't escape doing some(majority) of the work from your end. Not even the Gurus here will spoon-feed you. Sorry



Anyway, here's my own bit...

If your long term plan is PR, then first find a course either on the SOL or the CSOL that you can identify with (When applying for your visa, you'll have to explain why you picked it; the relationship it has with your current educational background + experience and how it fits into your future plans - so, pick wisely)

Look for Schools, based on factors that matter to you like location, ranking, cost, application requirements etc that offer the course(s) you want and start applying (The Schools under SVP, will make the journey easier for you. Refer to my last few posts on how/where to get the list of SVP Schools - Googling advice and the links you are avoiding are there too ). Also, you need a minimum of 2 years study in Australia to qualify for Post Study Visa and/or get the additional points for studying in Australia towards PR - so, have that in mind when selecting Schools and Courses, if PR is your long term goal.

Again, if PR is your long term goal, check "Skill Select" to see if you have the required 60 points. If you don't, consider picking a School in a regional area(schooling in a regional area gives you additional 5 points, but take note of their own requirements for nomination). Again, my last few posts will guide you on what all of that is about. More googling for you

You'll most likely have to write an English test - IELTS or any other one accepted by the School and get/surpass their minimum score requirement.

This is probably a lot of information for a fresher to assimilate but if you have a family member or friend that can help you research, well and good because it really can't be avoided.

Don't just dive in and pick any Course and any School, you gotta plan according to your long-term goal (PR, I assume)

*SOL - Skilled Occupations List
*CSOL - Consolidated Sponsored Occupations List
*SVP - Streamlined Visa Processing
*PR - Permanent Resident(ce)


PS - Try and read the thread! You'll be amazed at the bits and pieces of helpful info you'll find. You'll also be able to identify the Gurus and/or someone in the same boat with you - it helps.


OOOPS! - If PR isn't part of your plan, please forget everything I wrote above and just pick whatever Course or School you want. What do I know sef?

Thanks bhanjjie , I understand your point I applied for International Business Management after previewing my transcript he told me that it will be hard to get into any MSC courses since I had a low grade point in some courses as stated before.
Am thinking of avoiding any course that has to do with business or management although I read cooperative economics and management.

and yes I have a seven years work experience in customer service. do you think I have a better chances in asutralia?

I do not think people are jumping your post deliberately. I think you need to be more specific with your questions. MSc in what field precisely? I think your first homework will be to decide on the course you want and then "Google" the schools offering the course. Check their admission requirements too. I think most courses will require some work experience. To be honest with you, you can't escape from going through links, because people will sometimes respond to your questions and queries in form of links. I understand you are a nursing mother and a bit busy at the moment, I advise you delegate the task to your younger brother or sister or someone you think knows how to surf well and get results on the internet that can help you do some online research. When you have your course and the schools offering them, you can then post 'specific' questions, and I'm almost sure you will get responses. I hope this helps.

I have tried doing my skilled select EOI and the mail I got was that my skilled is not listed on the 189, 190 and 456 skilled workers assessment. I don't know what else to do can someone please tell me really the in thing or should I say ways of getting accepted.

I even have to choose secondary school teacher since I didn't see anything in my line of work, I also wanted to use hubby point but once I clicked on insurance adjuster the red error came up too.

The two major red flags with your application are;

-Lack of travel history as a family
-Insufficient finances.

They will surely ask if you all have travelled together as a family to some place else. . .They do consider that point awhole lot.

How much you plan spending is not much of an issue. Prooving that you can CONVENIENTLY afford to take such a trip, is the main thing to consider. You should have at least, twice your budget for the trip. So it doesnt look like you are cleaning your account just for a vacation.

Again, I hope your intending host (your sister) got her stay without bending any of the immigration rules. . .

Yeso @phema she does her hubby is a citizen she got married 2010 and join d hubby like I said she even got an award for best nurse of d month last year so I don't think that kind of person will do any illegal thing.

My other question is what if I apply with just my baby with my salary stated before do I have a chance since is ma first time.

seconded! 700k can't be enough to buy tickets alone for the whole family talkless of shopping and other contingencies and any unforeseen circumstance, your invite from anyone don't matter,rather you being able to prove your social and economic ties to the V.O at the embassy.

please I need help on this I want to apply for USA visa for vacation with my family(my 3kids ,6years,4years and 4months baby with hubby) this is our first time of leaving Nigeria, I spoke to my cousin(We bear the same surname but we are both married) in the state married for like 4 years ago, she's a nurse and she has gotten an award from the hospital she work for the best staff of the month and she agreed to send us invitation letter but don't know what to do ,i told her to send the invitation that she will sponsor us as per accommodation and feeding for the 2weeks where planning to stay while we pay for our tickets and shopping plus contingency.

I work and my hubby do to but my salary is way higher than his, although my company will give me an introduction letter to go to embassy with, am going to attach my payslip, cooperative statement that has 800k as balance, marriage cert, my salary statement and that of my hubby. we are saving 700k for trip since we have accommodation and feeding already, do you think it will be enough.

my Question goes like this.

1.what document should I tell her to send to us

2. should she add her statement of account and the hubby

what else should she add to this our document.

N/B: please I know some of the questions has been answered before please don't refer me to them I have a baby that am nursing so I cant read from the beginning to this page .

all I need is a guideline .
