My little cent and finding about NT for you to get a 190 you must have a job offer and a close family/friend living in that place. Also the chances for 190 is 2/10 but you can never say you might be lucky to be among the few.

You can check expat forum on Nt to read more .

Hello Gurus and everyone,

Please do we need to submit our spouse transcript during visa application especially for 190 or 489? or just the letter from the university to prove that he was taught in English. I am asking because am not claiming point from him so I don't no if I should add it or not.

Thank you.

@bellong and other gurus on the POF matter when am I suppose to attach/ show the PO F as I am nominating NT?

I am a bit confused because I know after positive assessment and English test next step is EOI. Am I attaching all my POF during eoi or during Visa processing.

Another thing is when are we suppose to do the medical test and police character.

I heard you don't pay the visa fee until all this has been checked and accepted before you can pay, that payment is the last part.

I need all the clarification please.

Hello chidike,

I used my GT master card at first It didn't go because of of insufficient funds,i called the bank to give me how much the rate was as at that day and also how much will be the naira equivalent for the particular dollar am to pay.

They gave me and I added more cash it went immediately.

So contact your bank.

grin wink thank you bellong .

Guys I need all the help in the world I want to ace this pte I have the Dropbox practice test anything I need to know?

bellong:
@Utcheylee,

Why give up before the fight?

You have not written the English test, you already believe you will score a 10point.

English test is what it is English.. not difficult.

Now brace up and ace 20pointss..

Flush 489 visa out of your mind.
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by utcheylee:
Dont worry jare I have gone to read the thing my self chai I can't go through this vetassess again oooo

My points goes like this:

Age - 25
Education ( unizk) under AQF 10 point
Skills 3.3 yrs - 5
English pte in view dont know if I will Ace it ;Dgave myself a 10 cheesy

Others in God hand although I don't mind my 489 than to Tanda for naija. grin

Abeg am not clear on this I thought only his English test can fetch me the 5 point must he assess his skills too?

This one Na another delayooo because Na vetassess he will use.

Please clarify this.

Thank you

SUJYDEE:
And he has to do assessment too. Why not try to ace your English proficiency test. That would save him the stress and it's far cost effective.
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by utcheylee: 5:42pm On Sep 26, 2016
Thanks, I have told my husband he will write Pte test to make up for the 5point grin

Good day gurus,

I just received positive assessment from vetassess after waiting for 28 working days even though I went through advisory service.

They reduced my work experience from 6 years to 3.3 with this I only got 5 point from them.

Am now left with 50 point overall instead of 55 hoping northern territory will add the remaining 5 point for 190 visa

Happy with mixed feelings
TravelRe: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by utcheylee: 10:34am On Sep 25, 2016
Here is the site for PR all information is there just read from zero to end

https://www.nairaland.com/3053069/general-guide-australian-permanent-resident

I don't think you can use a sponsor account but you can show any investment you have, cars, properties it mustn't be all cash.

Again check the anszco site to be sure your JD fits what you want to nominate, why do you want your wife to write the test?

For the assessment go to vetassess page and see their requirements

BabaArmani:
Hi Again Uche,

Thanks for the insight on NT. I did check it out and realise i can apply through them using the marketing specialist but my question is this will i be showing proof of funds using my account, properties or can I possibly have a sponsor like a family member?

Please I read somewhere that requirement for husband, wife and 1 kid is AUD60,000 which is about 14m. This is extremely high and i need to know if there are other ways to it otherwise i prepare to apply through study but even that one will be tough as I see people have been complaining about cost of tuition etc.

ABEG HELEP ME BIKO
TravelRe: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by utcheylee: 7:41pm On Sep 24, 2016
Why not go for marketing specialist under CSOL for Northern territory it's still open at list you have better chance than the sales and marketing.

Go to vetassess website check their requirements, gather all the documents needed and get your assessment done.

You don't need your Ielts before you can assess with them.

N/B you need proof of fund for Northern territory go to their website and check it out

quote author=BabaArmani post=49640257]Hello NNNBB & Bosslady,

Thanks guys for the great heart of care and love you have. I have been reading through both PR and Study schemes and at this point I believe I need help with these questions:
1. Im 32yrs with a wife and kid, qualifications are bsc statistics, mba in view marketing
2. Have about 5 yrs work experience in Sales and Marketing
3. Writing ielts in October but aim to score 8.0 in all
4. CSOL course found is senior manager in sales and marketing with minimum of 10yrs experience
Pls guys how do I calculate my points and Im thinking the CSOL requiring 10yrs experience for sales and marketing might knock me off and finally can the whole process be done in 4-5months?

I mean I can no longer cater for my family with no increase in salary and ever rise in foodstuff, guys the lamentation goes on and on but I should stop now knowing you all get my point.

Regards.
Guys I have gone to check the thread read from page 50 and not 60 to have insight to your questions.

Cheers

@Simpson no body has the answer except vetassess the reason why I told you to read the thread was for you to get a clearer picture of it . I also suggested you follow okosay thread because he was fully assessed by advisory and vetassess too.

@doyen06 you can get some idea if you read from page 60 up you will understand.

I've asked the same question as well, though mine is "what's the time line for vetassess assessment after using advisory service," my advisory report is due next week, they said I should read thread.... Couldn't find the answer though.
Hello Simpson,

Someone asked the same question you can read from page 60 to get the info or go through okosay posts.

quote author=simpson2016 post=49171448]
Hi, please did vetassess state on their site that their assessment will take two weeks if you go through advisory? I'm asking cos I should have the outcome of my advisory request next Monday and plan to apply for the assessment immediately. I'm curious to know, cos I've read that their assessment takes months.
Hello gurus,

I have a quick question on eoi I noticed it only ielts and oet is showing on the form for prove of English, how can someone with pte upload its result.

I also saw we're they ask why did you choose the visa type, should we just talk about our skills, how we will how add value to the state and whatever we know about the state we are nominating.

I just saw the template online trying to get a hang of it while I wait for vetassess to respond as today makes it 14working days that I submitted my application after advisory services.

Ifexsco:
The Grant with the longest timeline has arrived!!!
The timeline is as follows;
10th December, 2014; sent in my application to Engineer Australia for assessment
5th April, 2015; Got a positive assessment, dated 2nd March.
6th April; submitted an EOI
10th April: received an ITA. The speed made me wonder if the thing na real!
22nd May; lodged my application. Made the payment but wasn’t able to upload documents because my immi account was acting up.
I discovered Nairaland and through the discussions, I discovered I had made a HUGE error- had claimed some prequalification job experience. My points should actually be 60 and not 65. E-family had given me HBP with their comments that I had made a BOGUS claim and therefore jeopardized my application. However, of all these comments, Manmeta said I will be fine…..that he can feel it within his bones. This singular comment did a lot to calm me down.
25th June; by the direction of NNBB abi Bellong, I wrote DIPB a love letter making a passionate appeal for my points to tb corrected to 60. I stated it was an error done in ignorance and not a BOGUS claim.
13th July; they responded saying that it has been noted.
17th July; I was assigned a CO and he requested for documents and medicals. Remembered I was not able to upload my documents. I had put medicals on hold to see the outcome of my plea. I requested for my immi account to be repaired, still gave issues but one day it opened and I was able to upload the docs.
4th August; I and my family went for medicals
4th September; 1st request for outstanding documents! They asked for my form 80 and F1221. I sent the docs as email attachments. They first mail had omitted these forms, I resent it. They got the second mail and yet only decided to open the first one!
11th September; they sent a mail requesting to correct my score from 65 to 60. They said they agree it was an unintentional error. I sharperly consented! At this point my BP normalized…
24th September; 2nd request for outstanding documents! Asking for form 80 and F1221 AGAIN! I discovered they don’t check their mails so I resulted to calling them asap after I have sent a document. However, they also requested for my wife’s evidence of functional English as her certificates submitted is not a proof that the courses were taught and examined in English. Na vernacular we dey use learn for Nigeriahuh
The letter for proof of functional English took 4 weeks to obtain. UNICAL and una registrar I tire for una!
27th November; 3rd request for outstanding documents! They asked for my CV. I had attached it earlier but as usual….. They also asked for my wife’s transcript. Remembering what I passed through to get a simple letter, I acted wisely. I contacted a friend working in the university where my wife was doing her Msc and we were able to retrieve her transcript from the PG school and I photocopied it. Sharp guy!!
28th January 2016; 4th request for outstanding documents! I tire for this people! They asked I should provide the following; address (including street number) for 2 work places I had claimed (I had written only the city where they were situated), Name of family business which I was involved in. (it was a road side unregistered and nameless shop), show evidence of how I supported myself financially during my Msc abroad. Na wa! They thought I had worked during my Msc. I found the electronic receipt of my school fees paid by my father; I sent it as I didn’t have any bank statement for that period.
During all this my wife got pregnant. We thought the grant will come out and we could leave by March. We never heard anything up till March 21st when we put the application on hold.
15th April; they wrote saying my application was decision ready. They informed me of the advantage of delivering the baby onshore and asked for my wife’s due date.
15th June; requested for my application to be reopened. Our baby had arrived May 17th.
23rd June; they requested the baby to go for medicals.
8th July; the baby’s medicals was done and submitted.
2nd September; THE 189 GRANT LANDED for myself, wife and two kids!!!! It has been a dogged journey. It took a lot of will power, PERIODS of despair, anxiety (waking up every night to check mails and so many of those days, they was no mail!). Hope someone will learn from my mistakes. But above all, I believe God allowed it to be so for a reason.
My appreciation goes to God almighty, BossLadyMo, NNBB, Oga Bellong, Manmeta, Izykvision, etc.
The land of Oz, here we come!
