Thanks to everyone for their contributions. It has indeed firm up my decision to start up. But does anyone think chances might be slim if I declare my intention to have the baby there or normal visit visa since tommy isn't so obvious for now.

Please enlighten me more. Thanks

Hello everyone.

I'm new on this thread. I'd like to ask if it's not to late to apply for Canadian Medical Tourist visa to have my baby. I'm already 6 months down. Is it not too late or employing the services of an agent be the easy way out. I'd be waiting for your candid opinions. Thank you

I completed and paid my application for Mathematics Masters program of California University State.... But I just discovered they require GRE score which I don't have.
What should I do?

There is no visa category for domestic help and the domestic help does not qualify for B1/B2. You will have to go without the domestic help and start learning to live without domestic help if you want to study in the US.

Short and straightforward. To the best of my knowledge, you can't have anyone as a domestic help staying indoors full time in the US. You can have police report/ letter of adoption as a backup document Or have her international passport carry same surname as you if you must, which I don't think it's realistic for an F1 applicant.

Greetings everyone.

Please I just wanna do my wes evaluation. I used both waec and neco results for my undergraduate. Am I to send each separately with different scratch cards?

Please any information regarding this will be appreciated. Thank you

Like I said earlier I feel there is a new policy with visa issuance at the USA embassy’s. Denial rate has sky rocketed. I have friends who have been going for years without any default. They have all been refused for no reason. Please a man who works in Shell can never have any intent to migrate without proper job at the USA. I agreed that Canada had to speak to the USA to revisit their visa issuance as people have been crossing into Canada from the USA and seeking asylum. In my opinion I think we should leave USA for now. They would calm down later.

Like every other developed nations, getting the United States visa approved has not been easy. Tightened measures or not, people still get approved on daily basis. You never know until you tried. And I'm sure with proper documents and genuine intention, one would still be approved. If not immediately but eventually. Please don't discourage anyone whatsoever! Thank you.

Please house I want to ask if the Statement of account you used for your I-20 form must be the same as the one you will present for interview?please help.

Not necessarily the same. If the date you printed the first to obtain your I-20 is not really far from the interview, you can use same. The one for the interview should be at least 3 months before the interview date.

how much is the account statement suppose to contain?...is it the whole tuition fees or for both tuition and accommodation?

As much as you can provide. It must cover all expenses (in fact, double and more if possible) to stand a better chance.

Corrections

1. This your bleep bleep sound threw me off severally....... you're using explicit language there, right? wink

2. bleep bleep University has a good track record in [name a research] and houses 3 national research center of excellence in [course name], which provide leadership and outstanding research training in my area of concentration [name of conc]..... I would like to take the advantage of these ultramodern facilities to learn [name your course] and be involved in the [name of research] on going in the [name] department.

Be advised, since I don't know this bleep bleep university, if you know the school is like VIU, better don't say anything like outstanding research, ultramodern facility etc.

Thanks Mr Imperioux
I'd like to msg you privately please.

An extract from a proposed transcript for your kind consideration and constructive faulting.

VO- Why Bleep University?
Me- "Apart from the fact that I was impressed by the level of responsiveness of bleep Uni grad admission with consequently led to early admission decisions", bleep also houses 3 National Research Centre of Excellence.( names them)
I intend to take advantage of this facilities to carry out research peculiar to my concentration. Furthermore more, my prog duration is "20 months at Bleep which I consider ideal as i would be able to bag this degree within the shortest possible time frame."

I'm having a feeling the quoted isn't a good point enough. Kindly advise accordingly. Thanks!

It's for 6months(from 1st November 2017 till date) and he's not into bureau de change he's into marketing activation. So what are you saying in essense through your criticism ? I thought personal statement of account has to do with good inflow and outflow and closing balance not numbers of pages?

That's too much of a page bro.
I'm sure you'll have to carry it a special bag cos it will be bulkier than most Further Maths textbooks. You can make it 2-3 months and that's if it's still not bulky.

Hello Everyone..
Saying the truth is one important factor during the interview..
Now am going for an undergraduate course and the major reason i picked that school is because my MOM said thats the school am going to(since she is the one paying). Now i also did my own personal research and found out the school ia actually better than the rest of the schools i applied to.
My question is,assuming am asked why i picked the school do i say the two reasons(My mom and my personnal research) or i should leave my mum outta it.. And start giving facts that i got online..
Thanks. My interview is close..
Responses please..God bless

Kindly leave mum outta this biko. There are lots of reasons to back up why you chose the school I'm sure.

financial constrains for $500 , except if that not the exact words used .........The school would think if $500 is a struggle which is chicken change compared to a school fees, then this person is not serious

but yes , i probably would write to the school asking for their refund policy if visa is not given then you know what risk you are willing to take

Thanks for the contributions.
Exactly my tot. If I complain to them of "just" $500, then may appear unserious and it appears to be the only admission I'll pursue but at the same time, #181,500 will be gone‍♂️ if the visa no later work out.

It is clearly stated as non-refundable though.

Hello folks

Please I'd like to seek your opinion.
Got admission to last month and a tuition deposit of $500 is to be paid after 30 days of admission decision. Contemplating to pay or not as I just received I-20 last week.

Any advise?
Thinking $500 is too much to throw at something not yet guaranteed.

Hello house.
I want to evaluate my transcript for admission into a school in the US and i don't intend to use WES. Please can anyone recommend a reliable, inexpensive and stress-free evaluating body which is a member of NACES.
I already have a WES Canada account, so i am finding it difficult to create WES US account and admission closes in a fortnight. Please someone help me with an alternative agency.

You can switch the account or try ECE

I have been reading through the visa interviews but my problem is i only applied to one school. Do you think i should go ahead and apply to two more schools and has application for the fall session ended?

I don't really know how much about the funding but I know it's a good school with affordable tuition.

What about this
I finished from secondary school in 2014.. if I’m been asked what have I been doing at home since then what should I say??
Can I say that I have been assisting my uncle in office who is a legal solicitor..
I help him handle his documents then which triggers me to know more about settling disputes and making peace.. which also is the main reasons for choosing liberal studies because it helps in peace keeping and peace building..

Helping him to handle his documents triggering your interest sounds kinda weak a reason to me. I mean you've not been really involved in the professional aspect of it. I'd rather you find a more convincing reason. But if there is none, I guess you will have to modify it a little more and be confident when defending while you've chosen liberal arts. Wish u luck!

I'd say if possible, wait until you get the "interview SOA" before you try to obtain the i-20. Imagine your interview going really well then the VO asks "who's sponsoring you?". Due to your situation, you may get anxious thinking "Oh God, I hope I don't screw this up", your whole demeanor could change and you become uncomfortable (like shaky voice, speaking at a different pace than you had been speaking all along, etc.) which a trained VO would notice and that could be the point that opens a bigger can of worms. I repeat, you don't want those problems.

Long story short: if it's avoidable, avoid it at all costs. Unless you have no other options.

You've really made sense. Thanks for the contribution and God bless
