There are no telescope to look at the stars. Very few people know that the brightest object in the night sky is Venus, a planet; even though it looks to the human eye like a star. Many would call it a Star because it looks like that since its so far away.
Even the Bible talks about the bright morning star, the star that is always bright early in the morning; the planet Venus.

So why is it called the bright morning star? Because when humans are looking at the sky, everything to them are stars or the moon, but when you look at the stars, the ones that twinkle, they are stars. There are five or six of them that do not twinkle. If you look very well, they don't twinkle. Those are the planets. And you can see five or six of them with your eyes. We only have eight planets anyway, and we are one of them.

So there are seven out there. We can't see Pluto, though they don't classify it as a planet anymore. Venus is the brightest one. It's so bright on some mornings, you will think it's a bright shining star. So when children are looking at this, they're marveled, the human mind, the human brain. Once you expand the human brain, it never contracts again. Many times, those of us who have passed through school, we all say, okay, I went to read so and so course in school, and then they taught me all this other ones, it was just useless. And some people say Everything I learnt in school was useless, now I'm a tailor, now I'm a bus driver, or now I'm a politician, I'm a banker. So all those things I learnt was just rubbish.

No, it was not rubbish. Everything we learned in school expands your brain. The learning expands the human's brain, and once expanded, the human brain can never contract. So even if you now own a night club, and you organize parties for people, yet you went to school to read architecture and engineering, and you've never practiced one day, it was not wasted. All those calculations, all those assignments, all those homework, they made your brain expand. And that is what we want to do with the Space Club.

The Solution
Almost every technology we have came about as a result of man's attempt to go to space. We have planes because people wanted to reach to the skies, the internet, because they wanted to communicate when they went to the moon. So what we are saying is that if we're going to bridge the gap, the hope is the next generation, the children now that are zero years old to 20 years old, especially those in secondary and primary school, if we can get them interested in all these things. What's going to happen is that you're going to find a child that will be like the Jeff Bezos of Amazon, Bill Gates, or even the ones that are not famous or not billionaires, but they're also creating great things. You're going to open up their imagination.

A primary four student, a SS2 student who is in a space club, is going to be looking at the marvel of space and that is going to open something in his mind. And as he looks and learns more, he's going to start to discover something. And in five, ten years, he too will invent something that the world will find useful, that will take Nigeria and Africa forward. And we need that to happen. And that's the whole idea of the Space Club, to put in your children a desire to see beyond what we already see so that we become producers and not just consumers in Africa. Now, if you're a private school, we suggest that this is something that is taught in the class, for public schools, we suggest an after school event. In the entirety of secondary school, Space knowledge is barely taught.

So our point is, the gap is widening. Everything we're using is made by the west. You've read about Elon Musk, the chip they've made right now, a man was paralyzed from the neck down. He can't walk, he can't use his hands. He's been like that for years. Everything he does, people do it for him. He wants to eat. Now, Elon Musk put a chip in his brain and this guy is able to control a computer just by using his mind. And this chip is going to allow this guy to walk. This chip will allow the blind to see.
Elon Musk, his entire goal in life is to take man to space, likewise, almost everything Elon Musk is doing. Tesla, Boring Company, SpaceX, it's all because he wants to go to space.

There's a big problem in Africa, in Nigeria specifically and most of Africa, that hasn't been clearly addressed, whether by the government or by the private sector, and that's the knowledge gap that exists between us and the Western world. Yes, we know that the western world is more advanced than us, there's no doubt about that, that they are more advanced than us.

Every technology that you have today, everything that we use in today's world: The Internet, Phones, Computers, Planes, Apps, Fridges: , everything was designed outside Africa. We won't say a hundred percent because we may not be aware of some technologies, but 99% of all technologies, all applications we use, were designed outside Africa.
Most are from America, a few from Europe, and a few from Asia. Nothing in Africa that I'm aware of. Even if they are from Africa, nobody is using them. Yeah, we assemble cars, we assemble stuff, but we know what assembly means. It's that we are importing the parts and putting them together to cut down the cost. But we are not building them. We didn't invent them. We didn't design them, and keep asking ourselves why has nobody in Nigeria, in Ghana or South Africa designed an application that the whole world uses that is useful?

There are all these FinTech apps. Yeah. But there are copies of things that were done overseas. There's no original that I'm aware of. Look at Instagram, imagine someone just thought of, a few years ago, he just thought, huh, what if you do an application where people can share pictures. Most people were like, what is this rubbish? And then the guy did it, and Facebook paid him a billion dollars for it. If you read the story of the app Airbnb, the guys who brought up Airbnb, when they submitted a proposal to investors, they were just laughing at them like, no, this cannot work. Even Uber, they were being turned down. This cannot work. Why will people use their cars to carry people? Why will people leave their house and be renting it? And they running an hotel? Eventually some investors believed in them. And all these people are billionaires who brought up the idea and those who originally invested.

US former Secretary of Defense for Intelligence claims the US has recovered technology that ‘did not originate on this earth

US former Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, Christopher Mellon has said he believes the US has recovered technology that ‘did not originate on this earth’.

Ahead of a scheduled Congress hearing about UFOs on Wednesday July 26, Mellon said America ‘may have in our possession off-world technology recovered from someone else’s space program’.

The 65-year-old served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence in the Clinton and Bush administrations, and he now works as a private equity investor.

In 2020, he admitted he was the secret source who provided the New York Times with the three UFO videos it famously published in 2017.

Mellon said he expects some ‘new information’ will surface at the House Oversight Committee hearing on unidentified aerial phenomena – or UFOs – which will also be attended by Air Force and intelligence agency veteran David Grusch on Wednesday.

‘I expect Dave will provide some new information that we have not heard before,’ Mellon told NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo on Monday evening.

‘The objective here, I think, and the opportunity, is for the American people to come to better understand why it is that so many in Congress actually takes seriously the idea that there are UFOs, UAP (unexplained aerial phenomenon) that are violating U.S. airspace and the associated rumor, allegation, that we may have in our possession off-world technology recovered from someone else’s space program.

I’ve been told that we have recovered technology that did not originate on this Earth, by officials in the Department of Defense and by former intelligence officials,’ he added.

Back in April, government officials disputed this with the Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick of DOD’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) telling the Senate Armed Services Committee there is ‘no credible evidence thus far of extraterrestrial activity’ or ‘off-world technology’.

But Mellon said there are ‘credible witnesses’ who are in ‘direct conflict between what Dr. Kirkpatrick is saying’

‘Congress is in the middle and they’ve got to sort it out,’ he told Cuomo.

Mellon suggested that AARO was not best-suited to investigating the issue of recovered technology.

‘This is like asking the Reagan administration to investigate the Iran-Contra affair,’ he said.

‘I think (AARO) can serve a very important purpose in terms of investigating, getting the agencies to share information, collating it, developing collection strategies – but when you’re talking about investigating this allegation of recovered materials, that’s a different matter.

‘I think Congress has to drive that investigation itself.’

What's the point of having a Laptop with 32Gigs of Ram? I remember almost 14 years ago when I thought a Dell C610 Laptop with 512MB ram was fast.

So I increased the ram on this Dell Latitude 5520 Laptop with Intel Core i7 ( 1185G7) 3.85 Ghz from 16gb to 32bg.

It was fast and it got faster.

Userbenchmark.com put it in the 86th Percentile of all Laptops for processor power .

1. It wasn't out of the ordinary for convicts to hang for days on the cross by the way. And yes, Jesus Christ dying on the same day was a bit out of the norm. However, the story does not state that Pilates suprise came the same day of Jesus Christ's death.

2. " As evening approached.." does not include a reference to it being the evening of the same day that He died though. So it is wrong to conclude it has to have been the same evening that Jesus Christ died.

Add to that what Jesus Christ promised the thief on the cross , "Today, you will be with me in Paradise", indicating that rather than hang for days on the cross, the thief too would die that very same day that Jesus Christ did.

That " Today you ll be with me in paradise '" had the comma put in the wrong spot before today. They didn't use commas and full stops in the days the Bible was written. The English translators used the liberty to place them where they thought necessary.
No way the thief went to paradise that same day.

Although the practice was to let the convicts hang till they died, which could take a day; which was why Pilate was suprised that the Master was already dead, so quickly. ( Mark 15: 44)
In essence he died quickly at 3pm that same day ( Matt 27: 45-50.
Verse 57 says " As evening approached" that would have to be the same day that Pilate gave them permission to bring down the body.

Leviticus 23 vs 1 - 8 do infact state that the day after Passover evening is the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, a Holy day. This would explain the reason why a crowd was gathered in Jerusalem on that day — a Holy assembly of the people was commanded by God on that day, and no work was allowed on that day. It also explains why Pilate had to handle the killing of Jesus Christ even though He was tried by the Jewish priests — it was against the Law to put a man to death on a Holy day. Also figured is the fact that the body of Jesus Christ had to hang on the cross until the next day before it was then taken down and buried before the Sabbath day began.

Hang until the next day? He was buried the same day.

The day of Preparation was NOT a Holy day. It was the day preceding the Sabbath (for preparing for the sabbath.).
The Jewish NEW day starts from EVENING. Thus for a Weekly Sabbath, the Sabbath Day will start from Friday EVENING and run up to Saturday EVENING.

Jesus was crucified and buried on the day of Sabbath preparation which was Thursday. Jesus died at about 3pm
High Sabbath was from Thursday Evening to Friday Evening, therefore Jesus was buried before evening on Thursday

Jesus was buried Just before Thursday Evening
High Sabbath (Thursday Evening to Friday Evening)
Weekly Sabbath (Friday Evening to Saturday Evening)
Sunday Morning Resurrection (Saturday Evening to Sunday Morning)

Two Sabbaths in a ROW made it impossible for the Women to annoint Jesus (according to Jewish burial customs) till SUNDAY MORNING!

Thursday Evening, Friday Evening and Saturday Evening = THREE NIGHTS
Friday Morning, Saturday Morning, Sunday Morning =THREE DAYS

1. I am not saying at all that He died on Friday. Why couldn't He have risen on that very same Sunday morning, just before the eyewitnesses showed up to see Him do so? We are talking here of a 6-hour period within which He could have risen prior to the eyewitnesses showing up.

2. Took what blood offering and to what Heaven? According to Scripture, Jesus Christ did not ascend to Heaven until about 2 weeks after His resurrection.

Please don't get me wrong. I am not saying it didn't happen on Sunday or it happened on Sunday, I wasn't there .

And I know He died that week and I know He rose that week. But what I also know is that it couldn't have been death On Friday and resurrection On Sunday as that wouldn't make the 3 days and 3 nights he promised.
He always kept and still keeps His promises.

You have a point with number 2, but doesn't negate that he didn't die on Friday.

The Gospels are not wrong, they give eye witness accounts of an empty tomb and meeting the Risen Christ, but No one says they say Him rise on Sunday morning.

Where did Jesus stay or go immediately he rose? The Bible doesn't say, but there is an indication that He took the blood offering to Heaven and came back at a point because in John 20: 17 he doesn't allow anyone touch him because he hasn't ascended to the Father ; then in Matthew 28: 9 He allows himself to be touched.

Jesus the Messiah did not die on Friday and did not rise on Sunday.
Does it matter? Yes.
Why ?
Because when asked for a sign from the Pharasees, he specifically said the only sign he would give them would be the sign of Jonah.
That just like Jonah was in the belly of a whale for 3 days and 3 nights; so , he would be in the belly of the Earth for 3 days and 3 nights:

Matthew 12: 38-40
38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees told Jesus,[a] “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”

39 But he replied to them, “An evil and adulterous generation craves a sign. Yet no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah, 40 because just as Jonah was in the stomach of the sea creature for three days and three nights,[b] so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights."

So did Master Jesus lie or was he mistaken? No he didn't and no he wasn't.
It's people that are confused.

This is the only sign that Jesus gave when confronted by his enemies, he kept to it.

The confusion over the years is that people assume that since the Bible says he was quickly buried before the Sababath, they think that means Friday, just before Saturday ( Mark 15: 42).

Sabbath for Jews begins on Friday sunset and ends on Saturday sunset.
But all the festival days like the Passover, Pentecost, Tabernacles were also considered Sabbaths.

Thus the Passover of that year like every other year year was also a Sababath, meaning 2 Sabaths that week.

When was Jesus crucified? most likely Wednesday. So we have 3 days: Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 3 nights: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

So when did he resurrect? The Bible never says exactly, all we know is that Mary Magadalene went to the tomb early yes first day of the week ( Sunday) and met and empty tomb.( Matthew 28: 1). So He probably rose on Saturday evening before night fall.

No human actually was present nor witnessed the resurrection of the Christ. But the risen Jesus appeared to many.

God does not lie. The Bible can be trusted.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo's helicopter landed in Mayflower School this morning enroute his Ikenne polling unit. He was accompanied by his wife.

Received by the Principal of Tai Solarin's famous school, executives of the Schools alumni MOSA were also on hand to thank him for the Federal Governments investment of tens of millions of naira in building classrooms and buildings at the school.

Mayflower is located on the outskirts of the ancient town.
