Good morning boss. Can I ask you for a favor 🙏

Good morning. How can I be of help?

favor914:
Good to know that this cold case isn’t forgotten.

The people that committed this heinous crime are probably deceased.

Unfortunately and fortunately, they may still be alive.

Policemen outside his house after the assassination. Two of the most mysterious events of that night are

1) Why did the his entire security detail leave him to go and eat?

2) How come the killers arrived immediately after they left?

Professor Wole Soyinka is the only know prominent Nigerian that has continously called for the killers of Bola Ige to be brought to justice.
His $60,000 ( now N80 Million) for information that will lead to the arrest of the killers has yet to be claimed since 2002.

Bola Ige as a young student with the legendary Martin Luther King in 1960.

Nigeria has lost many public figures to unsolved killings. In 1986, journalist Dele Giwa, founder of Newswatch, died when a parcel bomb exploded in his home. Kudirat Abiola was shot dead in 1996. Politicians such as Harry Marshall (2003) and Funsho Williams (2006) were also killed. In most of these cases, no one has been convicted.

Many Nigerians believe these killings share a common thread, which is that those who ask hard questions rarely get answers. Critics say authorities have often been quick to call a killing a random armed robbery, which avoids the harder word, "assassination."

In Nigeria, sitting governors, ministers, and presidents have rarely been the targets of murder outside of military coups. Violence has tended to follow private disputes over land, business, and family. That is part of why the killing of Chief Bola Ige shocked the nation.

On December 23, 2001, Ige, Nigeria's Attorney General and Minister of Justice, was shot dead at his home in Bodija, Ibadan. He was 71. He was the country's chief law officer and one of the best-known political figures in Nigerian history.

Ige was a former governor of old Oyo State and a respected voice in Nigerian politics. He was widely known for his sharp wit and was nicknamed "Cicero" after the Roman orator. He was also known for living modestly. Those who knew Ibadan knew his house as a simple one.

One member of our team, then a university student, once walked into his home to invite him to a program. There was not a single security presence at the gate of a former Governor.

After the killing, police arrested several suspects. A trial followed in an Ibadan court. But in 2004, the court acquitted the accused, citing contradictions and insufficient evidence. In the 25 years since, nobody has been convicted of the murder.

That leaves a gap that hurts. A man who served his country, shot in his own home, and a case that ended without answers. Who killed him? Why? And who, if anyone, has kept the truth hidden?

V7 Media is going back to examine what happened. We will review the record, the court proceedings, the voices of those who were there, and the unanswered questions. We make no accusations. We are asking for the truth.

This is sad. Can we please tell this story?

When a man brings a young bride from Nigeria to the U.S. through traditional or arranged channels, the culture shock is often explosive. She steps into the freedom of America and begins demanding her rights, while the man still expects old-school subservience and control. When communication collapses and resentment builds, it too often triggers a fatal descent into ego and rage—leaving a trail of shattered families and prison sentences.

One academic paper discussing these cases stated that **nine Nigerian women were murdered in the United States by their spouses between 2005 and 2008**,](https://www.jstor.org/stable/41421415)

Another report noted that community leaders became concerned after **10 Nigerian women, eight of them nurses, were killed by partners between 2006 and 2008**. [4](https://www.aljazeera.com/features/2017/7/21/the-hotline-trying-to-stop-men-murdering-their-wives)

Our short film: Murder In Dallas: The Killing of Angela is based on a true story that happened about 17 years ago.

On Peter Obi winning Lagos State, what do you mean by something like that has never happened before?

Many factors

No politician in control of his own State has ever lost his State: Zik, Awo, General Yaradua,. Imagine Obi loosing Anambra, that would be an impossibility.
Then you consider that Lagos is in the SW and Obi is from the East.
Tinubu had ironclad control of Lagos for over 20 years

Wetin concerned me with wetin wey no concern me

History should concern you sir. No individual, family, society or country can make progress without good knowledge of its History. Else they will keep repeating the same mistakes.

In England, every 10 year old, can tell you all their Kings from William the Conquerer in 1066 to King Charles in 2026 ( thats 41 Kings and Queens in 960 years) ; in some other countries that have had 10 or so leaders, some twenty year olds cannot tell you who was their President 40 years ago.

In 2022, we conducted research into the viability of Peter Obi winning the 2023 elections for our one of clients and published the story on Nairaland and Instagram.

We disappointed them with our take that with the platform he had and timeframe he couldn't win the Presidency, but we shocked and surprised them when we told them he could win Lagos. We don't know what they did with the information, but Obi did shock everyone and won Lagos. Such a victory had never happened before in Nigerian history!

Imagine if we had done the story in video format. Well, this is what we do now!

Now 2 clients have given us assignments: the first, our old client from 2022 has given us the same assignment to access Peter Obi’s chances; and on October 1st 2026, we will premier on Nairaland, Youtube and Instagram " 2027: How Peter Obi can do the impossible"

Side by side a 2nd client contracted us earlier in the year to research the Sure Pathway to a 2nd Term for President Tinubu taking into account all the present challenges; we did and he us allowed us to premier it in video form. Watch the Premier on October 7th. This is world class ironclad analysis.

We are not partisan, we just deliver excellent products to our clients as we work to make Nigeria great .

Now this is where you come in.
As a member of Nairaland, we are inviting you to grab the opportunities presented in this day and age.

Are you the best maker of Eba in the world and no one knows? Did you see a witch flying in your boarding house days? Do you have an idea on how to change Nigeria? Do you have a car you use for Uber or can you help people paint houses? Do you believe Tinubu deserves 4 more years or you know for certain that Atiku, Obi or Sowore are the only hope for Nigeria or are you certain that UFOs are real or maybe you want to share your faith and religion. Whatever it is that's on your mind, we can bring it to life for you.
We helped Philip dramatically transform his Uber business by creating a video he shared to his Whatsapp and Facebook followers, his business blew up over night, he had to recruit some fellow Uber drivers to his network.
We helped a small barbing saloon create a video that dramatically increased their business.
We helped a guy in the US create a trailer for story that has always been in his head, now he is set to debut his first movie.

5 years ago, only big companies did adverts on TV and it meant spending millions of naira recruiting actors, getting film makers and sometimes going to shoot in South Africa and many times one advert could take weeks or months. Now any business even a local restaurant, like one of our clients in Lagos can do the same thing in hours for less than the cost of good food at Hilda Baci's restaurant!

33 Years After. The most mysterious coup in Nigerian history!

There are no telescope to look at the stars. Very few people know that the brightest object in the night sky is Venus, a planet; even though it looks to the human eye like a star. Many would call it a Star because it looks like that since its so far away.
Even the Bible talks about the bright morning star, the star that is always bright early in the morning; the planet Venus.

So why is it called the bright morning star? Because when humans are looking at the sky, everything to them are stars or the moon, but when you look at the stars, the ones that twinkle, they are stars. There are five or six of them that do not twinkle. If you look very well, they don't twinkle. Those are the planets. And you can see five or six of them with your eyes. We only have eight planets anyway, and we are one of them.

So there are seven out there. We can't see Pluto, though they don't classify it as a planet anymore. Venus is the brightest one. It's so bright on some mornings, you will think it's a bright shining star. So when children are looking at this, they're marveled, the human mind, the human brain. Once you expand the human brain, it never contracts again. Many times, those of us who have passed through school, we all say, okay, I went to read so and so course in school, and then they taught me all this other ones, it was just useless. And some people say Everything I learnt in school was useless, now I'm a tailor, now I'm a bus driver, or now I'm a politician, I'm a banker. So all those things I learnt was just rubbish.

No, it was not rubbish. Everything we learned in school expands your brain. The learning expands the human's brain, and once expanded, the human brain can never contract. So even if you now own a night club, and you organize parties for people, yet you went to school to read architecture and engineering, and you've never practiced one day, it was not wasted. All those calculations, all those assignments, all those homework, they made your brain expand. And that is what we want to do with the Space Club.

The Solution
Almost every technology we have came about as a result of man's attempt to go to space. We have planes because people wanted to reach to the skies, the internet, because they wanted to communicate when they went to the moon. So what we are saying is that if we're going to bridge the gap, the hope is the next generation, the children now that are zero years old to 20 years old, especially those in secondary and primary school, if we can get them interested in all these things. What's going to happen is that you're going to find a child that will be like the Jeff Bezos of Amazon, Bill Gates, or even the ones that are not famous or not billionaires, but they're also creating great things. You're going to open up their imagination.

A primary four student, a SS2 student who is in a space club, is going to be looking at the marvel of space and that is going to open something in his mind. And as he looks and learns more, he's going to start to discover something. And in five, ten years, he too will invent something that the world will find useful, that will take Nigeria and Africa forward. And we need that to happen. And that's the whole idea of the Space Club, to put in your children a desire to see beyond what we already see so that we become producers and not just consumers in Africa. Now, if you're a private school, we suggest that this is something that is taught in the class, for public schools, we suggest an after school event. In the entirety of secondary school, Space knowledge is barely taught.

So our point is, the gap is widening. Everything we're using is made by the west. You've read about Elon Musk, the chip they've made right now, a man was paralyzed from the neck down. He can't walk, he can't use his hands. He's been like that for years. Everything he does, people do it for him. He wants to eat. Now, Elon Musk put a chip in his brain and this guy is able to control a computer just by using his mind. And this chip is going to allow this guy to walk. This chip will allow the blind to see.
Elon Musk, his entire goal in life is to take man to space, likewise, almost everything Elon Musk is doing. Tesla, Boring Company, SpaceX, it's all because he wants to go to space.

There's a big problem in Africa, in Nigeria specifically and most of Africa, that hasn't been clearly addressed, whether by the government or by the private sector, and that's the knowledge gap that exists between us and the Western world. Yes, we know that the western world is more advanced than us, there's no doubt about that, that they are more advanced than us.

Every technology that you have today, everything that we use in today's world: The Internet, Phones, Computers, Planes, Apps, Fridges: , everything was designed outside Africa. We won't say a hundred percent because we may not be aware of some technologies, but 99% of all technologies, all applications we use, were designed outside Africa.
Most are from America, a few from Europe, and a few from Asia. Nothing in Africa that I'm aware of. Even if they are from Africa, nobody is using them. Yeah, we assemble cars, we assemble stuff, but we know what assembly means. It's that we are importing the parts and putting them together to cut down the cost. But we are not building them. We didn't invent them. We didn't design them, and keep asking ourselves why has nobody in Nigeria, in Ghana or South Africa designed an application that the whole world uses that is useful?

There are all these FinTech apps. Yeah. But there are copies of things that were done overseas. There's no original that I'm aware of. Look at Instagram, imagine someone just thought of, a few years ago, he just thought, huh, what if you do an application where people can share pictures. Most people were like, what is this rubbish? And then the guy did it, and Facebook paid him a billion dollars for it. If you read the story of the app Airbnb, the guys who brought up Airbnb, when they submitted a proposal to investors, they were just laughing at them like, no, this cannot work. Even Uber, they were being turned down. This cannot work. Why will people use their cars to carry people? Why will people leave their house and be renting it? And they running an hotel? Eventually some investors believed in them. And all these people are billionaires who brought up the idea and those who originally invested.
