Hello guys.

Please i made an error on my Ds160.


I wrote the adress of my main school, and not the adress of the international student office which is what is printed on my i20.

Contact person: i wrote do not know on DS160 meanwhile i am supposed to fill the name i found on i20.

Then instead of Pittsburgh i wrote Pittburgh, i didnt include the S


PLEASE IS THIS A MAJOR RED FLAG

wow Jesus! Thank you so much, i will be coming to abuja on Tuesday, but my passport will only be given to me after like 3days, and i dont have a providus account, except the one i was given during the piggyvest era.

Please what can i do, can i walk into any providus bank just like that? Please can you link me up in a way that could help my process?

I work with Providusbank and you can get PTA from our Abuja branch in Wuse 2. All you need are:
1. Copy of your international Passport with the visa.
2. A copy of your Flight ticket

do they need return ticket?

My PLACE OF BIRTH is showing the city I currently live, even though both are in Lagos, my place of birth is like Ketu normally, and where i live is like Marina.

But its displaying Marina, Lagos as place of birth. Did anyone encounter this please?

pay for your visa fee through zenith bank app, fill your ds160 form and apply for VIsa on the CGI FEDERAL WEBSITE

your school has to issue you an i20 first, you have to process that, then when you get the i20, fill your ds160, apply for visa on gtb app, pay for your sevis fees, apply for emergency date and start preparing for your interview

Send it to any school, they are usually kind most times and will give you. All my schools gave me waivers

Dont plagiarize, try to modify your own, someone else may copy the exact thing and may be applying to your school, if you send it to one of the schools i sent it to, it may not yield a good outcome, you get. But this should really guide you

Many people are always viewing, people will come too and say “i have been following but never spoken, my visa got approved” , some people also only talk when they get a visa denial...its not always fair to learn without teaching others. Good day everyone. Please I need your help. While seeking an emergency request, I mistakenly uploaded the payment receipt of my Sevis fee (western union). Not the confirmation page. I can't get to request another emergency cos the option is not there anymore. Please what can I do? Should I reschedule all over again and ask for an emergency request? Or the receipt is also valid?

use the feed back option, then (merge all your documents into one)let the sevis be the first page, explain yourself and then upload and pray.


Dont be scared, when I uploaded my emergency documents, my sevis and i20 didn’t upload, only appointment confirmation uploaded. I used the feedback option and send everything by merging them together cos you can only upload one file.

Good afternoon everyone... I apply for ER on July 9 at Lagos consulate i attached with the email my i20 and sevis fee payment receipt ..I’m going for masters and receive an email from them on July 24th that my ER is been reviewed and I will get a reply soon. But today I received an email that my ER is denied ..This is my first attempt ... so what could be the reason for this? I will be writing the school to deferred my admission to spring 2022! Because my initial appointment was December 2021.

why are you mailing international students office for application fee waiver? They can't help with that, your application will be handled first by the admissions team, their email address is always on the application overview page, therefore you can send them a very polite email. Also, you are not going to ask if a waiver is available, if it is you will surely find it on the application information page. The mail should be an application fee waiver request email, explaining why you can't afford the fees, "in a polite way".

Congratulations to the people that got their VISa. I tap into your testimonies. Please I want to ask, for the people that are getting admitted into 4 or more schools, does it mean Application fees were paid for all the schools or are there ways to get Application fees waivers.

I didnt pay any application fees to all the schols i applied to, UK and USA, i only paid for MIT when i didnt know i could request for a waiver, you can request for an application fee waiver

My EA was approved but the earliest appointment date to reschedule is the same date I'm to resume - August 16. Is there a possibility that there will be an earlier date than August 16 if I check later today? or tomorrow?

It's in Abuja, and I requested July 9 or 10. The tentative travel date in the request I kept is today(Aug 2).

you better pick it, as at friday 11 to 16th was free for only about 17 people, so tomorow maybe you will see 24th

Congratulations on your ER approval. Please, I'm trying to check if this approval thing is based on resumption date or the time of application. Is 16th your earliest admission date or program start date? (If your earliest admission date is 16th, then your start date should be in Sept, right?)


I applied for ER at Abuja on July 15th too(though, very late into the night) and I'm yet to get any response...(My start date is in September though)...

If you are waiting for Abuja emergency approval email, please don’t feel dejected and give up, dates are available so much in August and in September even though its not reflecting on the regular visa appointment portal, i think its a measure put in place to allow people get visa dates according to their resumption dates, I believe everyone waiting will be replied soon. So please dont give up on Yourself and on God, Monday is another day and hopefully many will receive emails too, there are many dates available,so don’t worry

I had to pay a new fee yesterday night, due to consideration for time, as my appointment was cancelled on the 28th. I applied for emergency immediately same yesterday night, it was approved this morning and i was able to get August 10
