So Punk's explanation made no sense. You were not angry at what, you were angry at who, forgetting that he isn't your 'young boy', punching him isn't a babyface thing to do and he's also disrespected you before and you did nothing. I don't blame him, he tried to make it work but that new VP, I think she sucks.
Also is Roman a babyface, does he take instructions from Jey now and why would a babyface brutally attack another babyface?
Also why is a hurt Punk smiling?

After the jungleboy and Copeland feud. Christian is still on the tag scene with rivalry against FTR.
Looking at his career/age with Edge. It's only fitting they end it being tag champions in AEW.
Say what you want but Christian still has a better career than a Lance Storm.
Eddie had a higher ceiling than Benoit who was all serious.

Now Is this Lio Rush gimmick going to help him win any titles? Nope. Matter of fact, he even lost the match he debuted this gimmick on AEW.

It isn't going to sell merch and arenas like El grande is doing in Mexico right now.
So what is the aim of this gimmick at the end of the day? No career advancement and no money made.

i think he'll sell merch. If Danhausen can sell merch why not Lio? But a title? I don't think so, even if, it'll be short-lived.

I'm not burying Christian's career, but he has meant much before.

It's temporary Lio Rush, don't rush.
Christian had a 'father' gimmick and people liked it, but now no one cares and he's kind of a joke (cos that's what gimmicks do to people at the end). I've seen this happen for 20 years.

Jim Cornette thinks that after MJF's match at Revolution, it is clear that he's given up on being a star in the industry, hence why he's refused to go to WWE because of the grind but would rather milk the billionaire of as much money as he can till his contract is over to go to Hollywood.

My response: MJF is already a star, same with many others in AEW. Will he be a bigger star in WWE? Most likely. But the competition there is much and the wrestlers have to deal with bad booking and politics and all that. MJF is definitely playing it safe but you can't blame him, since the stress in WWE is out of this world and there's no guarantee for stardom and success.
That being said, he should stand his ground on what he wants to do in AEW and not do everything he's given. He may never be as big as he could have been in WWE but he can be credited to lifting AEW to bigger heights if he puts in the effort.
